  1. Hey man. You coulda just asked me some more and eventualy I would have spilled my secret. Ok here's what I did. Go to the abbys mage in lvl 7 edgeville wild just a little above the river that runs along the east side. Since I assume this is your first time you have to do sort of an unofficial quest for him which makes you teleport to the rune essence mines from a variety of plcaes (this requires the Rune Mysteries Quest Done). After you finish his little quest you can go to him in level 7 wilderness in Edgeville and buy runes from him. The runes are super inexpensive. I got 15k airs for 45k (3ea) and the minds for about the same price. What I suggest however so you don't get pked is several things: Only bring about 15k into the wildy at a time and bank frequently. Even if your in the buying screen keep a look on your minimap for any white dots at all. As soon as you see one log out. Sure it might be just a runecrafter or some pker who can't even attack you, but better safe then sorry. Also you might consider wearing the best D'hide you have just in case, since most pkers there use magic to bind you. Also you might consider bringing runes to tele just in case one of those white dots does manage to entagle you. Looking at what I just said up there makes it seem really dangeroues and scary but really its not. Just bring tele runes and if you get attacked you can tele away and be fine. Also just a side everytime 100 or so runes you buy check the price. if its above 5 then switch to another world. Which is usualy full and repeat.
  2. Don't we all wish something like that existed. Easy to merchant and lots of cash. Honestly, there are quite a few things that are like that, but they are always changing for one reason. Other people try it out because someone told them its good money. As soon as you have to compete with another person its not good money anymore. Which is why many of the best merchants will never reveal their MAIN merchanting items, just a few things like lobsters and ores that are easier to sell cause everyone wants them. In short, look around, if something is really such a good money-maker no one is going to tell you. Go to world 2 and go to Fally Park and look around. When construction came out prices for obsidian items were all over the place. For a week all I did was buy obby shields 500k and sell 530k I was standing in the same spot to. So although people saw that I was making money, they had no option but to buy from me since if anyone was selling any I would just buy them all and have no competition left. Now obsidian shields are down to 300k though.
  3. I' m not really sure seeing as I haven't done that many member quests yet. I'm happy that I have not one but 2 Blurite swords tucked away in my bank \ . Hmm, maybe Waterfall Quest or the one where you get to dive Underwater in your self-made scuba gear. Still have the gear safely tucked away in my bank. I enjoyed Prince Ali's rescue when I did it on my pure. *Points to pics* Umm....ok....thats one way to word it. (wish I vided it as the character animations is a bit...odd)
  4. Runecrafting Cape All teh way. If not then the Range one is really cool to.
  5. Yep I'm sure, 99 magic and you don't know what the price of white mystic is.
  6. I second Deadly Red Spider, but I would say do it in Karajma the non multi zone instead of Varrock sewers. I train from 50/50/50 (att, str, def) to 70/50/70 for staking before I went members. Excellent place to train.
  7. Well this is for getting 85 slayer. So the arrows/knives need to be versatile for the majority of monsters. I just want to use it on monsters though, not pest control cause I want to get the cash. Money is not really a problem as I got 3 mil to spend on it.
  8. WORST: 87 KillerWatts - these things are annoying as heck! Best: 116 Basilisks
  9. Yeah but they don't stock that many that I could live through trying to buy 100k of them.
  10. Alright guys well I'm on my wya to 83 range while training slayer to 65. Please don't comment on if I'm dedicated enough to get either and just answer the question at hand. My question is: What type of ammunition should I use for training range? Bronze Arrows - 7gp each Iron Arrows - 14gp each Steel Arrows - 30gp each Iron Knives - 30-40 each (can someone tell me the standard price) Which is the better OVERALL between: Speed of Range Xp Consistent Hitting (least 0's) Price (this is important to me as I still want to pull of a profit while training slayer) I know knives are the fastest, but are they really worth their price? From my point of view, even though bronze arrows hit less consistenly it hits THE SAME as iron knives and if I'm on the edge of a range level then one less. But for that 1 less I can buy 3x as many bronze arrows as iron knives. Now with steel arrows and Iron Knives costing aproximately the same which do you think is better, I use this term loosely as by better I mean more EFFICIENT for training range. Even though Iron Knives hit lower than steel arrows, will the speed of throwing make more damage than using the comparably slower but stronger steel arrows? Bronze Arrows vs Iron Knives = ? Steel Arrows vs Iron Knives = ? Thanks guys!
  11. Just buy some knives and use it with an anti fire shield. Then just step into the gap as soon as you enter and boom he can only use fire breath which barely hits anything due to the anti drag shield. Did it at lvl 50 yesterday.
  12. Sorry my fault for not posting. I'm on a goal to get 65 slayer, and only ranging my asignements so I will have 83 range exactly by the time I get 65 slayer (according to tip.it calculator). Ihaven't done roving elves yet so no crystal bow. I'll be ok here for now only like 30 more. In case I get these in the future, which I most definetly will, I want to be able to find a better safespot than the one I'm currently using in the Ice caves.

You ever tried running through the100 or so wolves with no super restores? Anyways you might also consider a cannon. There is a guide in the Archive of Wisdom that shows where to place a cannon so that he cannot attack you but your cannon can hit it, and you can still load your cannon. Combining this with a friend casting vengeance this must be easy as pie, never thought about using vengeance before.
  14. Slayer asignement.... Found one at ice Caves but its mediocre since I have to lure them in first. 1/4 of asignement done (114 total) but I guess I'll survive
  15. I'm a member and would like to know where there is a safespot to range Hobgoblins where I can pick up my arrows. I know about the peninsula by the crafting guild but I want to be able to pick up my arrows, and tele grabbing costs more than the arrows themselves.
  16. On my way to 65 slayer. Went back to members today finaly, got 69 Magic and did Recruitment drive and Dragon Slayer. Boy those 33 defence levels look ugly....at least until I get 80 range and 40 defence.
  17. Tell Jagex that PayByCash will not let you send the remaining 4 cents, and if you could how you would only send that little bit of money to add to what you already sent. If the Jagex staff guy is an idiot and says "we are not responsible, or sort it out with paybycash" threaten to sue for them stealing your money and demand a refund. Then you will get at least some guy who gets more than minimum wage an hour to help you.
  18. cave crawlers in that dungeon under Releka
  19. 42Range is a little low, I started with 60 and even then it was mediocre. Your knives might disapear before you can even pick them up.
  20. Good luck Leester on your quest to have 2 of everything. Cause everyone knows 2 is more than 1! At least you get a paper hat that, wish I had one of those. Just go do some rune mining (fun, fun, fun) to get some small cash back. Then see if you can come out ahead on a few DK trips or the cheaper alternative KQ. And boohoo, you and your slayer asignements, Kurasks aren't that bad :? Anyways good luck on your goals, and if you have the time check out my blog will ya \ (points to sig( \
