  1. JAGEX YOUVE GOTTA BE KIDDING ME YOU [wagon]! I had 65k red chinchompas and immidiately sold them all when I hear about it but they already dropped to 615 each. And now your gonna fix it just like that. WTF! You said yourself it was intentional!
  2. HORRIBLE UPDATE!!!!!! I just bought 50k chins a few days ago and now they're worthless and won't even sell for minimum on the grand exchange. My freakin fortune that I've been working for 2 years to achieve is down to nothing! I quit this game.
  3. What about a glolry amulet vs stole? The glory gives +10 range bonus and +3 prayer while the stole just gives +10 prayer. The +10 range bonus doesnt seem like it would make that much of a difference but +10 prayer actually does a lot.
  4. But is full void still better than full black d'hide even though the range bonuses it gives are minimal?
  5. Yea that makes sense, get more xp per chin so you dont have to spend more money on chins.
  6. Here's my first option: What could I change to make it better? I won't be buying ranger boots since those are just way too expensive for the bonuses they actually give you and I'm sort of broke right now from buying 50k chins. I don't have a second 99 either so I don't have the trimmed skillcape that gives prayer bonuses. With this setup my range bonus is quite low, so is that ok? My second option would be: While this options give more of a ranged bonus and more of a prayer bonus I don't get the 10% range boost from the full void. Any suggestions on which to take or how to improve each? EDIT: I just remembered the god cloaks give a prayer bonus so just pretend I was wearing a god cloak in both of those pictures
  7. Hmm that's interesting. So Jagex is actualy lifting "perm" mutes and lessening the severity of some rules?
  8. Thanks for the heads up that range is better than melee in BH. I'm so glad I got 93 range =p
  9. Yeah unless your friends are a lot better than you you're going to be screwed.
  10. You deserve to be banned for just half of the offences you listed.

  12. You can do the mage training Arena and make another 30m on top of the 30m you already have. That's what I did, but I died with my hat on when I was maxed out on all points so I actually only made 12m . There's a guide in the Archive of Wisdom if your interested.
  13. Any advice on what would look good? I really like the Blessed Saradomin Dragonhide Body since it goes well with the Magic Cape but I'm not so sure about the Black Chaps. Any idea if naval slacks would go good with it since I'm not about to bust my *wagon* to do 5 quests just so I can spend a day playing the Trouble Brewing Minigame only to find out it doesn't look good.
  14. Would you mind private messaging me a link to your clan because I'm 99 magic and 93 range (I'll be 99 soon though) at 85 combat and am looking for a group of skilled bounty hunter players to go with.
  15. The market would balance itself out in ALL aspects if Jagex did not have price floors. The problem is since Jagex does have price floors on certain items they are leaving gaps open that will make it possible to RWT since balanced trades are based off of the grand exchange values. Since Jagex is indirectly trying to cut off alching items for profit they have set the price floors so high that it has killed the market for any previous buyers. They are taking markets out items from which entire skills are based around. Despise the insanely fast xp, would any of you have considered getting 70 fletching to fletch yew longbows if there was no market for them?
  16. I would say Firemaking is easily do-able within your budget and the cape itself look's hella awesome : Hunter on the other hand would require a bit more effort on your part but you will have actualy made a TON of money in the process and have a fairly respectable cape as well.
  17. Everyone here is arguing that Jagex just put a price bottom in that would stop it from being alched. Well let me tell you something...That's still Price Manipulation. I'm sick of listening to some of you babble how Jagex is just doing this so people don't just alch and make vast amounts of money. Well let me tell you this. The prices will correct themselves! As soon as an item is discovered that becomes worth alching for profit people will try to outbid each other to buy it in mass which will drive the price back up until it's unprofitable again. Jagex IS limiting a player's want to sell something. If a player wants to sell his gold bars below 210 each then by all means let him do so. The Grand Exchange still gives you more money if someone has put an offer higher than that so it's self correcting.
  18. Black dragons aren't very known for their visage drops (as in low drop-rate) The Metal Dragons are a lot better. If you go fire strike Steels you can still pull a profit and get some mage expirience to boot. In addition you might even get a few dragon platelegs or plateskirts.
  19. If you've gotten 99 range in only f2p then I salute you =D> If not, well that's fine too, I'm getting 99 range in members atm and it's still by no means "easy." I think you should check your calculations again though, because having 99 strenght I believe would make you melee based instead of range based.
  20. While a lot of the members only things are just continuations of where f2p ended in stat growth I would highly trying members for a month and see if you like it. That's what I did when I wanted to be a duel arena staker and I've been hooked on it ever since. :D
  21. Actually with the price of the nature rune your losing more money than you gain. And if you ever bought gold bars before the grand exchange update you'd know the average price was around 120.
  22. Well what happened was the "Smart" RWT'ers stocked up on these "over-valued" items to be able to use them to transfer money later. While this stock is limited and can only be used for a certain amount of time until their stocks run out it's still a viable method for them as has been posted in several RWT forums (yes I peruse them from time to time).
  23. Well today I headed off to the grand exchange to buy some gold bars when I noticed they were at 210 each. No problem I say to myself and scuffle off to the forums to buy them at my regular 120 each price. However all of a sudden I realize I can't buy them at that price anymore due to the "Balanced Trading Update." Gold Bars never sold for that much during the entire existance of the grand exchange even though the Grand Exchange price is supposed to update to the "average" price it was traded at on the previous day. Could it be that Jagex has not updated certain items to force up the prices of items they consider to be undervalued? Consequently does this open up a door for real world traders who have stocked up on such items. For example there are several items on the grand exchange that have values of 200k even though their real worth was only 13k or so. I forget the name but I believe it was one of the obsidian items. Now all RWT'ers would have to do is trade and since the game measures the objects value at the 200k price the Seller Can Trade 187k per item. Do you think Jagex will realize their mistake and immidiately update their prices to reflect the real value or will they let it stew for a couple of months until it slowly gets their leaving Real World Traders with another opportunity to conduct their ill-gains until then?
  24. That's exactly what I'm thinking. However will they put it in right when the skill is released or wait a few months before everything has settled down a bit. It occurred to me how awkward it would be if the first person to get to 99 summoning used Pest Control. EDIT: Slayer is not a direct combat stat. It does not affect your combat level so I don't treat it as one.
  25. Err let's get back on topic. I'm not taking sides here but look at your own grammar before you accuse someone else of having bad grammar.
