I just heard from some people in IRC that Jagex has secretly nerfed the xp gained in the ape atoll dungeon where people used to chin to get 99 range. Is this true? Has anyone personaly noticed getting less xp or heard from a credible source? If so what are my options as far as chinning to 99* range. Are there any alternatives that give just as good xp as the skellys on Ape Atoll?

Yep I always use it. There is some discrepency since the homepage sometimes shows some RS gp ads however these are hard to filter out as the ads are by google and it's very hard to moderate every ad that goes through. Even Tip it sometimes has this problem.

I'm just going to have to see. If we can check what other people are selling our items for I think it will lead to competition for lower prices which will help merchants in that they cna buy from teh grand exchange and sell in the real world. I'll be looking around for those ranger sets.

Actualy I'm getting less xp

I read some people were getting 200k xp per 1k chins. How the hell is that possible I half that xp per 1k chins.

Just curious how the hell do you guys get 200k range xp pre 1k of chins? I get about 240k range xp per trip but I use 2124 chins as well. I always have a range pot with me and am level 90 range. I dont however use the range prayer. How can a 15% range boost give me 100% more xp?

Can you please show me some math because I figured out I made 246,930 xp on average per trip and use 2124 red chins on average per trip. I'm at 90 range so I have 7,578,416 left to go to 99 range. (XP to 99) divided by XP per trip = 30.69 trips 30.69 trips * 2124 red chins per trip = 65,187 red chins. 65,187 * price per red chin = about 40m Please explain to me where my logic is wrong? I know that I might start to get a little bit more xp as my level gets higher but nothing to drastic to make the cost go down significantly. And actualy I havent even factored in the cost of prayer pots yet.

You can merchant: Herbs, cheap rares(easters, pumpkins), combat supplies(whips, barrow sets, dark bows, etc), TT items(not too sure how effective this is), ores, bars, etc. Take a look at the good merchanting guides on these forums for good information. K the 1st poster, the only skill I actualy care about is range and I want to raise it as fast as I can. To get 99 range I want to use the fastest way there which is red chins on ape atoll but which will cost me about 40m in money. I don't care about other skills and therefore don't care how they can help me in the long run. Merchanting will always be more profitable than any skill level 99. You can try to argue that you can make 1.2m an hour from rcing nature, and my argument will be I can make the same amount if not more from merchanting in that time. As for the smaller rares - Easter and Pumpkins as well as Disks of Return are very hard to sell items as no one particularly wants these rares as you can't wear them. For the bigger rares like Santas it's true I can buy and sell one and make an easy 200k-300k profit, however with my current money supply I would only be able to buy and sell one at a time. Something which is very hard to do when you have competition selling and buying too (in which case its sometimes necesary to buy out your competition to get a monopoly). Dark Bows are hard to sell in my expiriences as well, however I might give them another shot if you say so. Maybe whips seeing as I could buy about 20 of them and its always nice to have stuff in bulk. Not sure what the prince influxes are though so I'll have to check it out first. Barrow Sets are a waste of time in my opinion however I have seen people be very succesful in the past with them. In truth there's not so much demand for them with better and better (and sometimes cheaper) stuff being released all the time. I haven't tried bars or ores since f2p so I might have to check that out.

Greedy merchants like me don't make the price go up, we just rip you off one person at a time. Whether he decided to sell at a loss or be stubborn and for the same price is his decision 8-)

Well I have 20m right now but apparently the tall and true merchanthing methods I had used (Infinity -> Prayer Potions -> Ranger Sets) aren't making me the money they used to. I know it's not in the best interest for someone to reveal what they merchant but if for some reason you don't mind please pm me. Also I've been looking at prayer potions again (best money make ever 12.5m in a day) but the market seems to have no sellers anymore everytime I look and most of the forum does not have them in bulk anymore. Where have all the p pots gone?

Just use full Black D' hide w/ Ranger Boots and a Robin, then a prayer book in your empty slot, and preferably range them but melee is ok I guess. Use cakes for food.

Is everyone here [developmentally delayed]ed or something. East of Fally Bank right above where people sell cannons, arrows, and bolts. THere's always at least 2-3 people selling chins.

If this is true then almost all advanced formulas or methods in mathematics and physics will be debunked becuase they all have the same variable as a constant "The speed of Light." Which the only constant not being constant our formulas would have to be wrong but for some reason they have still worked, so using the backwards-logic something must be wrong with the experiment. Maybe instead of the deflected beams that had to go around the object being faster than the one that wen't straight. Maybe the straight beam slowed down and the ones on the outside maintained the speed of light. Even if this is the case that means light has either slowed down or sped up which once again means that the speed of light isn't a constant. Any ideas on this?

Well Cooking would make me a master chef and I would love to eat my own food then. Thieving would let me steal anything I wanted and sell it for money and be rich. Magic I could teleport to places, freeze people, poison them, high alch my own money, make fire, HP/Defence would make me invincible but that wouldn't really help me a lot if I'm not hated and attacked by people anyway so not this one. Call me a fanboy or an anti(insert console here) but this is what I think the standings will look llike 1 YEAR AFTER 4th gen consoles have been released. Units Sold 1. Nintendo Wii 2. Sony Playstation 3 3. Xbox 360 Most Profit in terms of console sales AND SOFTWARE 1. Sony 2. Nintendo 3. Microsoft Nintendo will likely push ahead with it's agressive marketing scheme to try and expand the market and will therefore tap into consumers that the other 2 consoles have no chance of even getting too. It's low price makes it even more appealing and needless to say I think the Wii would profit more by never having a price drop than lowering it. Sony will try and test it's new grounds with online and Blueray. The blueray format war is already one with Blockbuster, Target, and Walmart dumping HD-DVD and having exclusibley Blue-Ray. The media market will be a huge profit to Sony although I can't really see the target audience of Sony for BLueray being the same one as the Gamers. The console has the superior hardware and I predict it will age at a slower rate than the other 2 consoles which I think will have a much shorter life span after the 4th gen consoles are released than the Playstation 3. Xbox 360 will continue to rake in huge profits from it's majorly succesful online portion of gameplay. but hardware failures, lack of expandability for future hardware and software (particularly Media) will age the console the fastest of all 3 consoles. Software sales will be being dominating the US Market however the rest of the world will completely as already seen ignore it. Australia is Sony territory, Europe is Sony territory, Japan is split between Sony and Nintendo, with Nintendo gaining most of the rest of Asia along with at least one-third of the US Market.

Desert Treasure is overrated because of all the pures who do it without prayer. As long as you have 43 prayer it doesn't matter what other stats you have. Just bring prayer potions and pray the entire time, other than that just use the recomended spells for each boss. You'll be surprised how dang easy it is.

This is very much a religion debate. Let me state that I'm an Atheist because "I believe" that there is no creator/god because I can prove how everything came to be and work with Science. Now a lot of "brain-washed" children here think that homosexuality is wrong, and they are entitled to that opinion, however they undeniably stated that being homosexual is a CHOICE. When asked for the source of that train of thought they replied that the Bible said that being homosexual is a choice. So I'm going to give you guys a link that has evidence of over 500+ things that the Bible is wrong on, and therefor ruin the crediblity of the bible for which you use as your source of ultimate knowledge as well as ruin the credibility and authority of the catholic church because they base their church on the bible. I tolerate others opinions and have nothing against someone being gay or not gay. They can't choose who they like, they just are attracted to those kinds of people. It's a mental stimulation caused by hormones much like any other "attraction" between species. On the same argument, I don't care if people are religious because once again let people do whatever they want to. However I do have a problem when religious people say stupid [cabbage] as propose it as a FACT when it's really some [cabbage] from their religion. I don't care what you think personaly but when you try to tell other people a fact don't base it on your religious teachings.
