Short summary Photoshop - More effects etc. complicated at start, comes with ImageReady which is complicated still but can get some nice animations.. PaintShopPro - Not as many effects as PS but has lots of different styles. Easy to use, Comes with AnimationShop, extremly easy to use, built in effects for transitions and animations. Overall, Photoshop is better but Paint Shop Pro is easy to use, better for beginers.

that is amazing, i do get bored of pixel art but i do appreciate a proper one like this, maybe more detail to the hill in the bg, like trees or something, but very sweet! 9.99/10! :mrgreen: Edit: surely a noob wouldnt be in rune gold when the final is in black...

nice 10/10 lol good guide, i do see this, it could be annoying for the maker of the graphic because they dont say what is wrong with it so it can be improved. Maybe we should get loads of people wanting this to be a sticky then it may become one.. Sticky it!

just experiment with the the wide range of effects that PS offers (not trying to sound like a salesman) other than that good tuts is a very good site

keep the arrow, get better font though and as for the white, make it transparent, that would look cool

everyone here is right, stats are ok but better animated so they only take up a small space. ground does look strange, the font for the stats is arial? and add border. apart from that i quite liked it 7/10

apart from the font that rocks for your 2nd mate! 9/10 ^ nah a border would ruin it, the edges aren't straight (deliberate im guessing) and a border would make it look like an image in a box
