10%, and I really have no clue how long it would last. As I said in-game it seems like 3rd Age pricing is like a fish on land, dying and flopping all over the place. Either that or a plane piloted by a developmentally delayed pilot. :lol: No, it's 1% and I wouldn't be surprised if, after 3rd age does tak its final dive and all the hoarders are able tog et rid of their 3rd age, all rares started going up. Phats will go up because they're a good long-term investment and small rares will go up because of merchants who want to make a quick buck buying and selling the same day or possibly over the next day or so (not to mention the merchanting clans that will, no doubt, buy them out every now and then). That's my theory anyways. You realise hoarders can't sell all their 3rd age because they would have had maxed cash. So they have to wait till they can get partyhats to use their money then they can sell it. That is why they are tryin got squeeze life out of 3rd age. Your right once all the 3rd age is dumped onto wanna-be merchants and hoarders they will crash it and buy p hats just to hold money. In other news..... Elysian spirit shields dropped in street price today but divine's are still up. So ely is on the decline wonder when divine will follow. No, what people with max cash do is just leave a cancled offer in ge with 2.1b or however much cash they need to store.

Actually yes, Lol. Makes sense to me though, Although Ely/Div are having a nice run, it won't last forever, and within weeks, or a few months, they probably will be down to ge price. (I was going to say crash, but they won't become worthless, I can see them being traded on the ge for a high price sometime soon though.) Who knows, they might become easy for buyers to get soon. Elysian is the most overrated item in the game. Unless you have excess cash, it's not worth even the 250m GE price. With that money, you could buy 99 ranged, 99 prayer, 99 summoning, an SGS, and have some left over. The small increase in efficiency over a DFS isn't enough to justify the cost. Even with a DFS and unicorn, you can last over four hours at Armadyl or Saradomin in a trio/quartet. An elysian is just overkill. A divine is more worth the money than elysian, but it's also even greater overkill. Who the hell would want to stay at Saradomin or Armadyl for six freaking hours in one trip? I, personally, would be bored out of my mind. Another strike against these two shields is that yeah, you may last a while longer than everybody else, but what does it matter? Are you willing to solo when you are low on supplies? People pay handsomely for the best, and these shields are undoubtedly the best. However, I do not see them as being close to worth their cost. If I got a sigil CS/FFA, I'd first offer it at market price to some of my friends, and if no one wants it, I'd sell it in the GE for whatever I could get. I honestly couldn't give a damn less about "street price." I do not have any junk, am not compelled to waste my time collecting junk, and that would STILL be over 100m+ gp that I didn't have before. I could get some third age with my sigil, but why bother? For looking cool, I have and prefer my full dragon. I really like what they did with the plate and legs, but that's off-topic. Ely is actually better then div at things like arma and dks, simply because you are always getting hit and your prayer gets drained ALOT. I have used both div and ely, and find ely to be more usefull in nearly all cases. Div is better for corp and pvp. at sara ely is better simply because prayer is the issue. I take 0 food, just stallion and full invo of prayer. So a shield that drains prayer is not what I want. As for the high price, no they may not be worth the current ge price based on usefullness. But they are rare, a status symbol, and good to invest in. Also keep in mind there are hundreds, maybe even thousands, that have made a few hundred mill at gwd and are perfectly willing to pay 200-300m for a nice ely shield.

Ely/div will hit 400-500m. It's rare; on average 1 ely/div comes into the game every day. You may not think this is accurate, but for the time being it is. Keep in mind that maybe 30-40% of the time these ely/div are kept by the person that got them. Not because they know they will rise but because thats why they corp anyway, because they want these shields, cant buy them, so get them themselvs. Spectral is crap. It blows at arma, and has worse melee/range protection then dfs. It's only 150m ge because no one would sell, no one really knew how good/bad it was, and it was rare. Arcane is actually very usefull. +20 mage attack plus def stats slghtly worse then dfs. Awesome for pking, will be great for dueling when duel tourneys is fixed. No its not worth 165m but it is worth about 50m or whatever it will level at. Like spectral, it's only 165m because it was very rare and none were in the ge plus so few come into the game. I see 3a "crashing" in a month. As for phats, who knows. lol.

Yes, melee does get more kills. Most of the time, the people that range in ffa do so to use their Divine or Elysian shields. Range also has the benefit of being much much safer, and takes much less concentration. Quite often, players with lower melee stats will range as well. Range is effective, but melee is just faster. All of my gear/invos are more like suggestions, you can modify them as you wish obviously. As for fury or glory, it makes no difference at all. They have the exact same attack stats. The Beast ignores def, so the def bonus of fury doesnt matter. You are not meleeing, so str bonus doesnt matter, and +2 prayer is hardly worth arguing over. As for archer ring, I like it for its +4 range. Take a Wealth if you want :P

No. However, with the way things are currently set up, I could see Jagex treating, with reason, any and all BH trades as RWT. Whether or not doing so is right is another matter altogether. Also, this thing about 95% of BH trades being done to make legitimate trades/give gifts seems fishey to me. If people who aren't, technically, breaking the rules are successfully doing this, who's to say those that are breaking the rules aren't doing so just as much if not more? Just because you or anyone you know doesn't see it happening or hear about it doesn't mean it isn't so. Because it's just not worth it for ppl to sell in bh. The only few that do it are very high levles and usually clan members, so they can get clan support. It takes hours just to transfer a few mil. Not worth it for the big time sellers we had a year ago when they can go on WOW and sell in an instant.

No, because that wasn't bypassing a system jagex put in place to prevent RWT. But now the system is there, intentionally avoiding jagex's trade limits is against the rules. Yes it was to prevent RWT, which it does very very effectivly. 99% of all bh trading is only to free trade. Damn near no bh trading is RWT. Why hurt the thousands of players that use bh to free trade, just to stop the literally handfull that use it to RWT?

Trading outside of the current market price was cheating? No it was not. THe ONLY difference between then and now, is you must trade via a minigame to get the same result.

The amount of RWT that goes on in bh is next to nothing. The only people that sell gps for RL cash in bh is very few high lvl players. There is no massive botting going on at all anymore. Jagex didd just what they wanted to, which was to simply make RWT too hard to be worth it on massive scales. The main reason people use bh to xfer is to get around free trade. It's done for two main reasons- Giving away gps and selling items for their real value, not the incorrect GE prices. Free trade was done for somthing like 7 years? Now when trade limits are impossed, anyone that figures out how to free trade (not for rwt but to give away items or get around limits) is a rule breaker and deserves a ban? I fail to understand that. How is free trade suddenly so bad? I see nothing wrong with using bh to trade. I most certaintly do think it's wrong to RWT in bh. However, I think bh should be left how it is so we can still free trade when needed. It is still very dangerous, difficult, and time consuming to be done on a regular basis, and is usually a last resort. Just leave bh alone....
