  1. This is based on a sample size of 7000 jars opened taken from the wiki. Based on those numbers you should receive ~132.05xp / jar. Based on that sample I get 123.53 xp per jar. 2250*241+1500*215 = 864,750 xp from 7k jars 864750/7000 = 123.5357... I rounded down for 123.53 I have heard that you can clean around 12k herbs an hour (please correct me if I am wrong, I may have made that number up) so assuming that the jars work on the same system and there is no limit per tick, then you can open a jar every 0.3 seconds, adding 0.1 to accommodate for banking time. That means you can open a jar every 0.4 seconds for 123.53 xp. Therefore 28 jars takes 11.2 seconds for 3458.84 xp. So let x equal the number of seconds for 1 lap of 28 bones. 800k=[3600/(11.2+x)]*3458.84 x=4.36 seconds So I am not sure what happened here, something in my math must have gone awry because according to this you would have complete a lap in 4.36 seconds in order to get 800k xp/h and that is just not right. I have to go somewhere right now so I can't work on this, but I am sure it is just a simple error somewhere. So maybe someone on here can take a look at this and figure out what happened. If not I will come back later and figure it out.l Whoops. Was using 2500xp / curved bones.

  3. It's like the Madden curse. Definitely don't want to make the cover of that video game.
  4. I would like to see this on a 24h base, just calculated twice with 24h between it. Just to see how much hours they 'lose' or gain per day I'm not quite sure what you mean but I wanted to do a spreadsheet that auto-updated everyone's remaining hours but google spreadsheets has a limit of how many import functions you can have on each spreadsheet. There might be a way around it by linking multiple spreadsheets but I don't care enough to research if and how it can be done. well, due to my bad english, ill ask it like this: Could you pls post this sheet, with a day between it=P so i can see if they go (on a 24h base) can go from, (like suomi) from 10918 hours left, to 10900 hours left (18h from 24h) so, could you post this sheet updated with 24h between the 2 updated posts? :P sorry for being so, vague (For the NL People: misschien kan een nederlander me helpen lol, sorry dat ik zo onduidelijk ben XD) This is based on a 24 hour time frame. I didn't factor in x amount of hours for anything.[/hide] I think he means more like Player Current Hours Remaining Hours From Last Update Hours Gained Since Last Update Suomi 10918 Time Suomi Had left Yesterday Hours Suomi gained since yesterday Skiller 13761 Zarfot 13766 Dapledo 14052 Lan 14396 Skiller 703 14397 Kingduffy 14622 Elvis 14719 Elias 15116 Tezz 15502 Telmomarques 15814 Drumgun 15961 Jdelacroix 16183 Green098 16195 Gertjaars 16321 ErwJ 16671 Paperbag 16899 This would let us see the how far each player advances each day. So we can see who is moving toward 200m in all skills at the greatest rate. So like today, Suomi could have 10918 hours left. But tomorrow, he might be only have 10906 hours left. Which would show that he advanced 12 hours of skilling time since yesterday. Oh, I see. Not sure if I could do it but I'm sure it could be done. I'll think about it and see if I could come up with something but if someone has more knowledge with google docs, let me know. Thanks for the clarification.
  5. i did list some methods and their xp/h on my response I know. I updated them. Thanks!
  6. lol Enough about the zombie jars. It's an old construction strategy that was never true to what people originally thought from 8 months ago. Again, this sheet wasn't updated in 8 months and the xp/h values on there this morning weren't current. I'll continue to tweak it as I research and get better data on xp/h rates. If people want to add constructive criticism instead of saying "lol wrong" then I'll be happy to listen to your training methods.

  8. Yup, pretty much. Based on the sample there you'd be getting less than 120k con xp per every THOUSAND imps you loot. Over 8300 imps per 1m xp, have fun with that, whoever thinks it's realistic at all to try. That's exactly what I'm looking for... hard facts. The 3m number is definitely not factoring in opening jars. I'll go back to mahogany tables @ 750k/h. I'll listen to your one poorly conveyed point regarding zombie jars, miracleman, but it definitely won't be based on anything you or Paperbag said. The thing with the zombie impling jars is that it does not require any level to do, and the BXPW did affect them. Someone on these forums used them to train construction. I think the picture is on this thread at least twice, back when Drumgun started posting. So if you wanted to make the most of your xp modifier for construction xp, using the implings to get long bones and curved bones while prepping and then cashing them all as fast as possible allowed you go gain massive Construction XP in a very short time frame, and left most of the bonus modifier open to do other things such as herblore, and then summoning. I think that is exactly what sparked the thought of zombie imp jars being an extremely fast way to level the skill at a higher price.

  10. Obviously these aren't attainable consistently but we aren't trying to pin point the minute someone will complete this goal, it's a fun analysis to see how long it would take the top players to reach the goal. Why is doing zombie implings to 200m con stupid? If you do con last and merch the entire time, who says you couldn't feasibly pay for it?
  11. Thanks for an actual legitimate response, PereGrin. :)
  12. It's higher with BA. 155k/h doing a 10min farm run. lol Why not? Thanks. I'll keep it at that until I receive confirmation from a more reliable source. Zarfot's slayer log proves otherwise.
  13. Yes, I mentioned a few times the xp/h values are dated. Someone give me some solid data about the new rates and methods and I'll update the sheet.
  14. Here is a spreadsheet with some of the top contender's remaining hours. It'll automatically update the remaining hours based on my estimated xp/h values from this spreadsheet. If anyone has other ideas of data they would like to see added to the spreadsheet, let me know and I'll see if I could do it.
  15. I figured it out. It'll take a bit because I think I have to do a spreadsheet for each player due to the import function limit but it shouldn't be too hard. Langer can you get me the updated max xp/h breakdown so I can update my values?
  16. Couldn't you put several players per sheet, publish that (so you get a link to it), and then, on a separate sheet, just import the final output for each player on each sheet? Or does that still fail to circumvent the import function limit? That's what I was thinking but I don't know how to link two separate workbooks in google docs.

  18. Here is a list of some of the top player's remaining hours based on the xp rates/h from the spreadsheet I created a few months back. This is a rough estimate because some of the training methods are bit dated but it should still give a pretty good idea of what people have left. Player Hours Suomi 10918 Skiller 13761 Zarfot 13766 Dapledo 14052 Lan 14396 Skiller 703 14397 Kingduffy 14622 Elvis 14719 Elias 15116 Tezz 15502 Telmomarques 15814 Drumgun 15961 Jdelacroix 16183 Green098 16195 Gertjaars 16321 ErwJ 16671 Paperbag 16899
  19. I did something like that a few months back with this spreadsheet. I haven't updated since then so some of the xp/h values are incorrect but I'd be happy to update them again if someone can point out the better methods since I haven't been played since the summer. In the input tab just enter the player's name you want to look up and the h/day played.
  20. Anyone test fishing with admiral pies and determine if it's worth coupling together with a granite lobster to increase xp/h? Also, does a Abyssal Stealth scroll help when training Agility to prevent you from failing on obstacles?
  21. I'd still like to see some answers and data to some of my questions listed above. Also, maybe you can update your first post every so often to keep the first page of the topic relevant to people joining the thread?
  22. Based on your theory, since I haven't received an effigy drop in 1250+ frost dragons then the drop rate must be greater than that. Failed probability and logic.
  23. Some things I would add: Explanation of stable junk and unstable junk. Explanation of junk trading and what 60/40, 65/35, etc. trades mean. List of stable junk. Pricing breakdown of items' street values. Explanation of street value. Explanation of buyouts of an item and how they can be beneficial when trading for rares.
  24. Isn't it faster to reset after wave 5 instead of going through all 10 waves?
  25. Do people do tournaments anymore? Is there a CC or a specific time people meet to do this? I'm trying to get 3 ranks to get on the hiscores but no one is ever there.
