  1. i would use your bars on knives. knives are easily sold, or can be used to get you lots of range lvls. also, you could make steel bars and turn those into c balls to make a lot of money. you could buy mith ore, coal ore, and nats and superheat mith bars. you can get 35k smithing exp and 45k mage exp per hour and break even or sometimes even make profit with this.
  2. willows is definitely fastest unless you do oaks maybe. never tested it. oaks might be faster at that lvl, especially if there is competition as p2p is filled with high lvl wcers trying to get 99 with willows. find an empty place and you might lvl very fast.
  3. definitely do slayer. failing that do rock crabs or hill giants. when i was f2p i got all my combat stats to 60 at hill giants. they dont hit much, drop big bones (good for prayer) and also can drop limps which can sell at 1k ea.
  4. i personally just catch the raws and give them out to people. faster to trade them away then to drop them, and definitely a lot easier. i wouldnt bank, cuts down your fish per hour by half, and if you cook and bank, dont expect to lvl very fast. it is best to fish and drop or trade to get fishing and buy raw lobbs to cook in edgy for cooking.
  5. any piece you wear will decay during combat, even if the set is or isnt complete.
  6. oops, double post, sorry :wall:
  7. They may be harder than before, but I still suspect they're a lot easier to kill than any black or metal dragon; and they definitely have less hp. possibly. they attack with range, mage, and melee right? that is a tank monster. there might be an armour combination to use on them, but otherwise, i dont think they could be killed as easily as the others. before the update everone prayed on them. if they were hard enough that prayer was needed before the update, theres no doubt that they are even harder now.
  8. if you want the lvl fast, go for willows all the way to 99 at barb outpost. you could sell all the willows you get and probably have enough for 2 furies if you were so inclined to buy 2. with the willows you could get a fury and have 3-4m extra to do what you want with. good luck
  9. torags without hamms is 1.5-1.6 i think. hamms are only 100k though if you want the full set.
  10. this is true, it is a rare drop, but now that jagex changed the prayer protection on wyverns, they cant be effectively killed any more.
  11. i have heard that d axes dont make very much of a difference on mages, but do on low lvl trees like willows or maples. i would say to buy it if you plan to cut that many mages. mages take forever, so every bit of help you can get you will need.
  12. maybe a minute as a guess. if you want your very own tree that spawns in just a couple seconds, plant a yew tree in fally garden. it is very close to a bank with no competition at any time.
  13. you could easily range black drags or steels for them. steels have a higher chance then irons do of dropping it. black drags, however, are closer to a bank, drop blk hides that can sell for a chunk and may have close to the same drop rate as steels do. from best to worst to kill i would do steels, blk drags then irons if you dont mind the walk to get to the metal drags. if you hate that walk then go for blacks then steels then irons.
  14. :) good luck
  15. any barrows will work well there, but if you want to stay there a long time, go with guthans. you might want to keep rune or some other armour to wear when you arent healing.
  16. yeah, yannile has a close sandpit but i also like to use bert, 84 buckets of sand for talking to him. for seaweed either go to DKS with the fairy rings, spawn of 9 there i think, or buy from the charter ship people in catherby. i think thats the closest bank to a charter ship. buying the seaweed is cheap and takes way less time. you can also save the step of cooking the seaweed by buying soda ash instead of seaweed as often as you can. still get seaweed but get soda ash before. good luck on 99 crafting (that is what you need the 300k molten glass for right?)

I think with the Ogres you're thinking of Cyclopses in the Warrior Guild; but I think they actually drop lvl 2's. yes thank you, cyclopses. the higher lvl ones do drop lvl 3 clues i believe, i will quickly check. yes, just confirmed with the lvl 76's, lvl 81's have no info, but it would be safe to assume that they would drop the same lvl clue as the weaker version. take a look: http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2monster_id=759

  19. the sara god sword, on the RSoF, is being bought for anywhere between 13 and 20m. dont see any sellers though.

as said above, clue rewards are random. for lvl 1 clues kill goblins in the goblin house near lumby. lvl 2 i like guards, they are never crowded and easy to 1 or 2 hit. lvl 3 clues you can go to greaters, jellies, or the highest lvl ogres where you get the defenders (sorry i couldnt be more specific, completely forgot what lvl and name they have). good luck
  21. hmm, why dont you try uninstalling java and then reinstall it? that might do the trick
  22. you could alch steel plates or green d hide bodies, tele grab zammy wines, or cast enchants on your jewellery. all of those require no combat, but if you want combat spells, just atk lessers in the volcano in one of the safespots.
  23. never happened to me, but from what i can gather from your description, it appears that you have several java runned things going at once. have you tried rebooting your computer?
  24. i once did law running until i realised i could be getting my own rc exp instead of giving them exp. at that time i could get done 500 laws per hour without glorying back to draynor, using balloon and c wars method, or energy pots. if you gloried or used the c wars method and used energy pots, you could get probably 1-1.2k an hour. it could take anywhere between 13 hours and 40 hours. then i stopped and rced. in then longrun it would be worth the time to get 54 rc so you can be self reliant with your own runes. good luck
  25. at 55-65 rc, you may be able to make money if you can get cheap ess and sell all the airs you make for 18-20 ea. you can easily make money buying ess 30 ea and selling them at 15 ea, a common merchant price so you dont have to spend so long trying to sell.
