as already stated, there are only 3 answers and you just need to learn to find it and click on it as fast as you can. i have seen people who ice rush (or any other ice spell) an attacking monster or entangle it also, but only the ancient one would be effective.

the abyss blows fairy rings out of the water in terms of speed. as pointed out earlier, the speed does involve some risks. they can be avoided for the most part with the proper set up. inventory: all pouches you can use 1 p pot (1) home tele tab equipped: boots of lightness hunter cape grn d hide top and bottom axe or pick when rcing and you come across a pker and they attack you with snare, telly. if they tb you drink up that p pot of yours, put on item protect and drop your pouches. they will get your d hide and some p ess if they get you lol. not a big loss.

there are several options for you. 1. invest in a rare (such as a santa or green mask for that amount of cash or a little more) 2. invest in your skills (such as rc) 3. last but not least, save it! each option is as good as the next, but each has pros and cons. Pros for 1. price will always increase Cons for 1. you are broke! lol Pros for 2. you will make money and climb up the highscores list Cons for 2. profits can be small, but they will be there. takes time too Pros for 3. you can watch your money pile grow! then when you really want something, you can get it without having to save for it. Cons for 3. you may miss out on major profits with rares or your skills may not increase as quickly. hope it helps :)

i go to chaos druids in the yanille dungeon and kill salarin the twisted. i keep all herbs harra and up. make every pot you can by collecting herbs like that and also farming. farming plays a very cruicial role in herblore. good luck

i wouldnt take guthans to barrows personally. if you die, you lose a lot, and my personal goal in setting up for barrows is to get max prayer bonus. the way i do it you can get a full run in in just over 10 mins and only drinking 2 doses of p pots and 4 pieces of food or less (depending on how nice verac is feeling that day). truly ankous are the best monsters to go to at your lvl. aby demons, i am told, are great too, but they require a very uncool 85 slayer.

i would agree with dks except for the fact that it is hard if you are new (so i am told), it is VERY RISKY, and if your team isnt trustworthy, you might not get anything. so for a 100 percent chance of safety, i would go to ankous with a ring of life. make sure you have at least 81 hits as they hit a max of 8. with good luck, i bet you could make upwards of 400k an hour. gl :)

i completely disagree. this is really discrimination (for a lack of a better term) against people who choose to focus on certain skills. if the minimum was 500 that would be way too much. as pointed out earlier skillers would need to have each skill at an average in the mid to high 80's. i would try to find a better solution that doesnt eliminate the possible progress of a skiller.

my best monster drop was an obby maul, lovely isnt it. my best human drop was a whip in a bank. was standing making pots and this guy dies, i get all his stuff. mystic, bloods, deaths, berserker helm, and oh ya... a whip :D

i agree with the mojority of the setup as far as killing the brothers. personally, i go with 50 rune arrows, netieznot helm, procelyte plate and legs, slayer staff and holy book equipped. inventory is home tele tab, 200 slayer dart runes, spade, blk d hide top and bottom, magic short bow, dds, d scimmy or whip, super atk and super str, 4 p pots 4 (i never use more than one, but better to be safe in my books), and the rest monks. all of these i use the appropriate prayer, but if my points run out in the tomb, i dont drink unless its dh, karil, or sometimes ah, but it shouldnt happen because you do those first. kill dh with mage kill karil with dds and scimmy kill ahrim with range at this point, you should have 15-20 prayer points left. kill verac with remaining prayer and mage drink a p pot dose and kill torag drink again and kill guthan. if one is your tunnel, i just skip it and carry on in the exact same order. i have never died at barrows using this set up and it is far less risky than bringing barrows armour down there if something were to go wrong and you die. i prefer the major prayer bonus with my set up over the higher def of the barrows armour. hope it helps, and if you disagree with something, i would like to know how i can improve my setup as i am an avid barrower. oh and by the way, my current dry streak is gaining quickly on 200 runs. must have drawn the short straw when i created my account :wall:

i would highly suggest using your skills to make money. money will just naturally come if you progress with your skills. merchanting can be fast if you know what you are doing, but i wouldnt really suggest it unless you have a rare. with a rare, you just need to keep track of the prices and know when is a good time to buy and sell, but even with that, i would suggest using your skills.

grats on becoming a member. the first things i did as a member was buy the essentials. i bought a d long (80-90k), full blue mystic (200-230k), and the highest level dragon hide you can wear along with some magic short bows (anywhere from 20-60k). after you have the basics, i would do the quest for you to be able to use the dragon long. its very easy and the difference between a d long and a rune scimmy is very substantial. the basics will only last you for so long until you progress in members, so i would suggest making some money. A basic way of doing this is to simply pick a bunch of flax in seers village (or buy it for 100 ea, but you get less profit) and spin it into bow strings and sell 200-220 ea. have fun in members and i hope this helps :)

back before my friend was a member, he tried doing exactly what you are doing. the money is great, even compared to the p2p standards. I would look on forums for people selling laws 300-350 each and buy as many as you can. i would start with low amounts until you get used to it and feel comfortable doing it. Simply bring your laws, an air staff, and some water runes. tele grab the wines until your inv is full then tele to fally or if you want 1 extra per trip, skip the tele. the spawn time is 15 seconds or so. in that time, you could post on the TIF or just browse guides on other sites (tipit, sals realm, and rune hq are my favorites). the more knowledge you have about this game, the better and more effectively you can play it. prepare to get fairly wealthy if you keep at it. the number of wines you can get per hour (assuming for the wine to spawn and to grab it is 20 seconds) is 180, excluding banking times. so you can expect to make around 180k worth of wines in an hour. sometimes it is hard to find a buyer for your wines, so i would save up a bunch and sell all at once OR find a permanent buyer. hope this helps :)

i always used seers or lumby. its far less complicated and it doesnt require you to buy/sell anything and on top of that, the rate at which you can make it, according to your calculations, is slower than what i can do in seers or lumby. gotta give you some credit though for coming up with such a unique idea that is fairly efficient :)

Well sadly yes... I was probably 10 or 11 at the time. I had been merchanting rune ess making about 5 gp per ess. The one and only thing I wanted was full Addy (g) and it was 400k at the time. After buying and selling a total of about 80,000 ess, i had finally gotten enough money for my dream armour. Fairly shortly after buying it, there was a guy buying it for 100k more than i had paid so I traded him. He offered 500k and i accepted, but just before he took 450k off from it, but it looked the same when i glanced at it. I was so excited i forgot to check the second screen. I fell for the classic switch 500k for 50k scam and i soon found tears rolling down my face. It quickly stopped, but i was so mad at him and also myself.

wow, some of you rate fairly tough. nice skills, but i would suggest trying to get most skills up a bit, especially those under 40. its a good start :) i would just suggest deciding a skill and sticking to it, it will pay off. for farming, i just planted in 2 full patches, for the lack of a better term (allotment, herb, flower) and then as i got better, did 2 tree and 2 fruit tree once in the morning and at night then went back to training my other skills. good luck :)

nice drops. you arent alone being very unlucky when it comes to barrows. i have done well over 500 runs with only 3 drops to my name, only 1 was worth over 1m. i have had karils top, dh legs, and a brassy. hopefully if you (and i) keep at it more drops will come. good luck :)

oh i tried and tried, but they didnt change their mind. my only hope really, is to go on in the summer when my dad is at work and my mom is either out or sleeping. probably wont get too much time tho.

Hey. Recently i was grounded for a really rediculous reason. And when i say grounded, i mean not allowd to play games on computers EVER again. I was running up the stairs to go to the washroom, and all of a sudden, my grandpa asks a question. I answer at the speed of light, then run up the stairs. When i get back down, my parents yell at me and do the grounding. Stupid isnt it... Well i think it is, and if you disagree... well i think you just fell, no got PUSHED off the turnip truck. My last few minutes i took a screeny of my bank. Keep in mind, i gave away 2million+ of items to clear out my bank of items of significant value, for the most part. I would like to see how you guys like my bank. I would love it if you could rate it out of 10, and if desired, look me up on highscores and rate that too :D.
