  1. Guthan's special attack still triggers even if you use prayer. It just takes whatever number you would have hit. i have heard people say that before but i dont think it is true. i have never ever seen him heal himself when i had prayer on.
  2. honestly none of the quests are hard, just some are annoying. for me the absolute worst quest was sheep herder! it was so frustrating! ME2 was long and if you mess up, can be absolutely disgusting (somehow i locked myself out of the death alter in the temple lol. DONT DO THAT!) definitely do not go cheap on the p pots and bring the best prayer boosting armour and clothes you can bring. your agility level is absolutely fine for this quest. good luck, and congrats on your soon to be achieved quest cape.
  3. i completely disagree with using the abyss for law crafting for several reasons. you cant take any armour or weapons to entrana so it will be easy for you to get killed. i have also timed it. using the abyss is like 15 seconds slower than using the hot air balloon method. that is go to c wars and go to entrana using the balloon just north east. from their run to the law alter and tele back to c wars. with pots it can be done in a minute or less per trip. i would definitely advise doing this.
  4. i used to put mine on flax, but now, thanks to all the autoers -.- the price dropped from 100 down to 60 ea! this blows, so now, or before my members ran out, i put 9 on maples and 6 on coal. the tree seeds from all the maples you get will give you nice farming lvls and burning the logs you get will give some wicked firemaking exp. the coal, if used correctly, can be a massive money maker. the coal you get can be used in making cannon balls or plates making you millions along with smithing levels. i would put in the max amount of money of 7.5m if you have enough (no offence or anything against you). good luck to all your future MTKing.

i would say chins or red salamanders. unfortunately i ran our of membership before i could get past 60 hunter, but from my testing, salamanders are boring in comparison to grey chins.
  6. yes it will die.

both are good places but i like brimheaven. you may want to invest 10 minutes killing the dogs until they become unagressive towards you. once they stop, the numbers of greaters there will most definitely make up the lost time killing the dogs. guthans, if you feel comfortable of course, would be a great thing to take there. the greaters dont hit that often and when they do hit, it isnt anything too great. good luck
  8. people use no prayer sometimes because of the fact that they bring barrows armour (due to the high def bonuses) and pray only on dharok, karil, and ahrim. i personally bring prayer boosting equipment: prosolye plate and legs, neitiznot helm, prayer book and the rest of the normal equipment for slayer dart. it hasnt failed me yet and i can do runs completely safe with prayer with 2-4 doses. i dont feel like it is necessary to bring expensive equipment down into such a risky minigame, and its not like i am unexperience there, well over 350 trips total under my belt and not one death because of me using the method i use. good luck to your future barrowing, and i hope your luck isnt as bad as mine...
  9. not that i dont trust you, but how has this been discovered? is there any documents from Jagex or has somebody actually reached the cap and taken screenshots of it? People have reached the cap and screened it. Also, I believe the max is 2,147,483,648gp. ok thanks, and by the way, AWESOME SIG! i love house lol
  10. although possible, it is not legal. you cant have 2 accounts logged on in the same world, but in different worlds it works, though it is not advised to try. however, if you were so inclined to break the rules (i am not encouraging this in any way) it would be rather hard to catch unless something other than multiple logging in is involved with you like using bots. i highly suggest you do not test Jagex.

  12. my friend needed a really good way to make fast money by merchanting. before telling him about it, i tested it out and found it worked amazingly well. here are the prices, and dont be flexible on the buying or selling prices unless they offer more or you pay less. Buy Rune: scimmy:20k helm:20k plate:40k legs:35k kite:35k Sell Rune: scimmy:25k helm:25k plate:55k legs:45k kites:50k good luck
  13. i dont really merchant, but once my friend really needed a money making technique so i found one and tested it. here it is, and it works like a charm. i have made probably close to millions an hour. Buy Rune: scim:20k helm:20k pl8:40k legs:35k kite:35k Sell Rune: scim:25k helm:25k pl8:55k legs:45k kites:50k good luck

make sure you have the whole set (say frog costume you need hat, top, and legs). then use any piece of that set on the appropriate storage unit and it will be stored away.
  15. i would stick to something that wouldnt hit you very much as you are 1 def. i have see people in members change from a whip or dds to something like a g maul or even the anchor. its a very effective way to kill someone.
  16. it would, but would that make you get greater numbers in an hour? i would test it myself but now i am f2p :(
  17. i just started and not gonna drop trade a cannon/600k to this account.. and also dont want to be considered a" cannon noob" nowhere did i suggest to drop trade anything, its against the rules. theres many things you could do to make the money. and those people who call others a cannon noob are pathetic. they are considered a noob by using a rather effective training method. they are just mad because they cant kill it before you and/or the cannon can. but whatever milks your goat. just like in pking, safer noob. they are calling you that because you ate food before they could kill you... clearly ignorant in both situations.
  18. my 4 personal favorite skills are what people find the hardest to level. those are the ones i would say you should get. those are rc, crafting, farming and herblore. all the capes are rare and well respected. another one that is rare is agility. that one you will rune in circles for endless hours... yeah not too exciting, but if you have the time and patients i think its a good one. good luck on whatever 99 you choose.

that is true, but a lunar spell, after doing the second quest after lunar diplomacy (forgot the name -.-) you can cast a spell called spellbook swap. it allows you to cast one spell from a different spellbook.
  20. i would say rock crabs simply because they actually have drops. rock crabs, if you didnt know, are located just north of rellaka. to get them to attack you need to walk next to one and it will jump up and start attacking you. that is the only way to attack them. once they start being non agressive, just walk down into the city and come back and they will start pestering you once again. the beauty about these is they have a lot of hits but rarely do they hit and when they do, it isnt anything to cry over. good luck. oh, one more thing, you could do slayer assignments as well. those will not only give you atk exp, but also some valuable slayer exp.
  21. people usually go there mid to high 80's in combat skills with guthans. you may also consider doing slayer with a black mask to get combat up. it will get you atk, def, or str exp, hits exp, and slayer exp instead of only atk, def, or str and the hits exp at the bandits. for range i used king lathe's training ground from mid 50's into the 70's in which i am now. you could use cheap bronze arrows and leave them there to speed up training times or use iron knives which are as easy as heck to make. the knives you could also leave. knives are way faster than the msb but are slightly weaker, but in the end i think they kill faster. they also drop some nice seeds and big bones if you want prayer. good luck
  22. your points contradict eachother so ill give my advice for either. if you have 50 now and you want it higher, i suggest buying pure ess (or mining it) and making nats using the abyss. at 54 you can choose to continue with the nats or move onto laws. laws give .5 exp each more exp than nats, but it all adds up. also, laws can be made faster using the hot air balloons rather than the abyss (ive tested it many times). it will also be safer as you dont need to worry about pkers. if you arent 50 now but you want 50, i suggest you make airs until you can do fires then fires using the duel ring method to 44. it doesnt sound fastest, but believe me, it is. at 44 keep making those nats and youll be 50 in no time. hope my two bits helped. good luck
  23. exactly. thats also the stratagy behind most pkers in f2p. bows shoot rather fast so they get them low using a bow then switch and hit a massive hit with the 2h at the same speed as the bow to hit the KO, if all goes to plan that is.
  24. geesch replied to edard's topic in Help and Advice
i agree. 5k ess can be done in about 5 hours (1k ess per hour) and the coal could be done in 1 hour, 2 at the very worst.
  25. a lot of pures tend to train on rock crabs. they have lots of hits but dont hit often. its also a multi combat zone so you could also bring a cannon to get a headstart on range. good luck
