First post: :-P *ahem* Oh em GEE! New Clothes!!! *ahem* Is it just me, or do the costs of these Tier 2 Aura's not reflect the 2% increase (to 5%) over those same Tier 1 auras? :unsure:

Well I dunno about you but I find the mass numbers of automated characters, all of whom are now occupying all of the primary and secondary training/earning spaces to the point that every such spot, on every world, is now so thoroughly saturated with them that it has become positively fruitless to even attempt to use said spots, absolutely annoying. Personally, I don't care WHY they're there, anymore. I just want them gone. We've tried reporting them and were ignored. We've tried competing with them and were overwhelmed. We've tried killing them (where places allowed) and were assaulted by their in-game protectors. We've tried complaining about them to management and have been ignored (again). What's left to do? Riot? :unsure:

I think the OP is being a little hard on himself about his state of "ignorance". That said: Did you click on any of the links in those emails? Jagex doesn't email you about your account. They will contact you in-game over the message centre instead. If you clicked on the links provided in those emails, that is how they got your account. In any event, to be an honest player and for someone to have gained access to one's character on here isn't an issue of ignorance, as much as it is a commentary on how ruthless these gold-miners have now become ... :unsure:

Seriously -- you could search just about "anything", graph it, and make it appear that interest in it is declining rapidly. One word: "effigies". Frankly, unless you LOVE playing BA and/or want some of the other specific items from the mini-game itself, I cannot imagine that filling the horn would be, in any way, more efficient than either running courses or, say, using effigies. Personally, when "training" agility from 97 to 99, I simply found it more preferable to farm effigies ...

It is a tank - I remember reading about it in 1 of the interviews - I wonder if that got moved to their new mansion. Actually -- it looks more like an M113 APC from the Vietnam Era ... :unsure:

All in all it was a great quest. Nowhere near as long as I thought it would be, and the story is a little, well, "sketchy" in parts not that THAT is a bad thing. There's a LOT of loose ends flailing around in all directions which opens several doors for more story-lines and more character development, which I personally, found to be great news. Obviously, there's a lot more to be heard from all the "people" in this quest, and I intend to follow up and talk to a few of them The "Epic Battle" wasn't all that difficult not for me anyways. In fact, I had more problems in the earlier part of the quest making my way across Mos than in any other part of the quest. Again, that's not a criticism. I think the main difference for me was the absolute lack of noticeable "lag" for this battle. Not sure why but, even on high detail and resizable screen, my circa 2007 computer ran through the battle without a single lag unlike during the Branches of Darkmeyer final battle.

Well -- the good news is that they released the quest. :thumbsup: The bad news is I am at work at the moment and won't be able to start it until this evening ... <_< I also note that "Bane" gear does not list in the GE, so I will assume it is not trade-able. Any scuttlebutt about these new boots yet? Do we get all three sets as a reward or are they something that can be obtained after the quest? :unsure:
