  1. Locking, as all this thread will do now is attract spam.
  2. Time for a new release of the: >>>Tip.It Times!<<< When replying please make sure to clarify the article you are replying to! Thanks! Enjoy the articles! P.S. Also if you notice any kind of grammar/spelling mistakes, please PM me instead of posting on here. Thanks!
  3. Sorry to hear about your loss. My condolences to your whole family. On topic, the image is to large. It is 252px high when the maximum is 200. I don't know if the system auto declines it for that but that would be my first guess. I would try resizing it to only be 200px high and give it a go then.

  6. Im just going to make a new topic :( As mentioned, imageshack was having some issues. Going to lock on request but just try to post img's normal again. ;)
  7. That's based on RuneScape though. I wouldn't have suggested this if that was in general discussion, which is what I'm looking for. #-o Well that's what I get for posting a reply before coffee. I don't know much about off topic myself but it seems a debate forum wouldn't add much. Right now every thread is full of people voicing their opinions much like a debate. (I'm going to let off topic mods reply to this one, hopefully I gave a good laugh.)
  8. While it may not be exactly what your thinking, the Debate Club has a pretty mature regular base. You may find it to be just what your looking for.
  9. :twss:
  10. Lets not. Your just inviting trouble. If you feel the need to rant, use the "Rants" forum. However, be sure to read through the posting guidelines before you do: viewtopic.php?f=66&t=783809 . Thanks N_odie

  12. Well, this is an interesting thread thus far. Crew members are not connected to mods and the work mods do in anyway. Becoming an admin from crew really gave me an eye opener into how much work moderators really do. The thing is, as mentioned, every lock, avatar, move, signature, ban, spam, harassment, ect ect ect you see creates background work. Not only from 1 forum but every forum on this board. So moderator WORK is more than one would imagine. It shocked me coming from crew. However, that isn't even a moderators primary job. That's just what come with being a leader and mediator of the forums. Right now, lots of the moderators barely have time after handling issues to "enjoy the forum for themselves." Right now, many have that burden; come online, deal with crap for a few hours, log off. :( The posts they do that are non-mod related thus suffer, these posts are very important as they are leaders in the community (often times before they became a mod!). When they don't post, people feel mods don't do anything because they don't see much of them. Kinda funny isn't it? The busier we get the less people think goes on. More on topic, the post timer is a necessary evil. If we where to make a way to bypass it, it would encourage people to spam to get it and then you have all these spammers with no limit. Forum games was the only forum I ran into it with, so I understand the annoyance. :?

  14. Would it be cheating to lock the thread?
  15. Thanks! I have a feeling there is more than meets the eye on this one....
  16. It seems you got the answer. Nothing special but does make one raise the eyebrow. :-s PS. Lets try not locking the thread and seeing if posters can be mature enough to let it go down the page naturally. Edit: Guess not. :(
  17. Looks like your getting some great answers so far. I'm moving this to the Help and Advice forum so you can get more answers. Also, great job guys on giving an answer and keeping the ib4l posts off this thread. Very well done! =D>
  18. Watch the mean comments guys. :P SUN IS EVIL.!!@!@! Congrats man, that's an insane amount of xp. :P

  22. Guys, Stop talking about olly's ban. It is his and it is between him and Jagex at this point. If he wishes to discuss it with you personally in pm then so be it. Though if he feels he is being harassed, just as any other user, via pm, you can/will have action taken against your forum account. Promise gave a warning already, don't push it.
