  1. so sad  It is sad what this world is comming to.
  2. I know there are many of the ninja mods out there but there would be many advantages. :D
  3. Thats an interesting thought. :D
  4. Yah if they continue it they wouls deffinatly have to put a ton of thought into it. some of those books are deep!
  5. OMG thats sweet im going to pm you se if i can use it in my sig :D
  6. I think that is the overall point. Video games will still be around no doubt about that, but video games as we know them mayby not. 15 years ago mario was the game. know alot more advance. IMagine 50 years of technology to expound on it? :P There is a large psychological theory about this. I don't remember the exact name but to explain it quickly, basically there is a point when video games become too realistic and people don't want to play them. There is a part of the mind that wants to know that a video game is not real, and when games reach the point of being a second reality, people stop playing. Peoples minds want to know that what they're doing is not real. When a game gets too realistic, the mind can't decide what is real and what is not. So your theory of imagining games with 50 years of technology may not be correct. Games will come close to the point of perfect realism but will not go any further. Who knows, we might be getting close now. This is only a theory so it can be proven wrong but it was taught when I took a college class on psychology. And I believe that many psychologists strong agree with it. I really didn't thinkof that. I know many people who play video games to escape from there real life. I guess there wouls be a point where the consumer woud want no part of it because it could be to Real, no where to escape? That is a sad fact. In many of the future movies though that i have seen (not quite on the collage level =P) many people liked the realaty of a real life sim. That way they can pretend they have a btter life than what they really have. Could the future of games to be like this?
  7. There are many aspects of the game that can only be made better. It takes time to make a whole new game but i do agree ith the idea of an WoW type of Runescape. On the other hand, rs is great for its own reasons. Take a look at this quote from another post: They both have there ups and downs. : We will see if rs steps up to the challenge. :D
  8. Yes when someone sees a mod they think "oh cool a mature, no leetspeak, use actual periods in sentences player!" Most of them are like that, they like to represent jagex because jagex picked them, but some are not. A few months ago I was killing unicorns for some horns in Catherby. A player moderator came up and said "Move noob im mod i can ban u my unis plz." I was completely appaulded by the statement. When I said "Please can you switch worlds? I was here first," he totally started cussing me out, I mean literally like tons of *'s. I was so insulted I reported him. mods are not invinsible. My guess is that once one of themget report Jagex looks at them with no mercy and will take away there "modship". Just think. Your a hidden mod, and you mute him. lol. can a mod mute a fellow mod though?
  9. Well, the thing is that if they moved them around it wouldn't matter. TO my knowlage the only way they get the autos to work is due to the color of the tree. When the color comes on screen the program sees it and goes for it. They could make the tre a slightly difenet tint every time it comes up to "help" prevent this.
  10. Well thats well thought out. I thinik that you are right there. It will be different but the principles will be the same. I'm going to put a not in the subject not due to request.

  12. Inthat case just predict what it will be liek in the future. You could go into a virtual softwar. The point of a post is to have fun. :P
  13. There are always f2p people breaking the rules. THey need more f2p mods. :D
  14. I don't think that they would sell. If one thinks about the annoucment a while back of there being 1m member, :-s $5*1,000,000=??????? I dont think it cost that much to keep the game updated. 5,000,000*12=60,000,000 a year? I don't think that i would sell if it would only go up :notalk:
  15. With Jagex number of Members increasing. The total amount of members can only go up! IF you think about it the more members they get the more money they make. The more money they make the more money they could put into the game. I have always loved the act that you don't need and software to play the game but they could make a new version that makes the graphics of the game improve ten-fold. They could make new skills and new lands. As long as there are kids willing to play an online game there will always be a need for someone to provide that game. Hence why Runescape is around now. Also just think, if you walk around in a chicken or skelly suit, it will be rare!
  16. I saw this post on the official forums and search for one here on Tip.It and couldn't find one. So, here it is... What will Runescape be like in 50 years??? (due to the request of a few on the post so far) If you don't think it will be here that long, possibly how will it be in 5 years? There are many ideas out there, the version that we love and play will be like classic to future generations? Maybe WoW will be dead and Runescape will be the #1 MMO Maybe first person? :ohnoes: Who knows? What̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s the Tip.It community think?
  17. i guess i didn't think about the corrupt mods. This would probaby be a way to catch them though?
  18. As long as one isnt going to get reported why worry?
  19. Thats true. Thats why i thought that having the ability to choose wether to have a crown or not would come in handy. If someone claims just ignore them or tell them to sow crown. Besides if someones gloating there a mod there probably not. n_odie
  20. Everyday we all see scams that go unpunished. Often times one seeks justice to come, but all we can do is report them. Now there are many violators who have been banned through this method, but there might be a better way. For the moderators of the game there are many responsibilities that have been put upon them to help the Runescape Community. They are part of the confidential Moderator Centre. Note what the Runescape site says about this centre: These moderators represent YOU!!! They are the ones that find issues in the game and talk to Jagex staff about problems through a classified forum. As we have all seen in the past though, a moderator walks into a market to sell an item and all the players ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬Åbehavior̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
  21. I'm kinda nervous with the director they choose but this could also be Wolfgang Petersen's biggest movie yet. So far he's done.. Poseidon (2006) Troy (2004) The Perfect Storm (2000) I guess we will see :-s
  22. Fastest and cheapest dont go together. I would say cok you monks and start cooking sharks. At lv 91 you onlyburn 1 or 2 a load with gaunts. That would be your best way to go.
