Personally I don't see 3rd sets falling down to <50M, unless Jagex releases an update. Why? The demand is pretty high (I'd love to have 3rd ranger), supply will not increase dramatically (TT's haven't and probably will not become as integral a part of the game as Barrows/Abby Demons in terms of moneymaking). Their prices will most likely dip down to 50% of their max/stay the same throughout the next year (possibly even rise, as people discover how TRULY rare it is). Over next year, however, I REALLY do not see 3rd sets halting discontinued price growth; the novelty of 3rd age will wear off. How has the TIP community become so ignorant :-k

I came up with your idea once, and tried it out at PC (some lucky noob got me to buy the thing for 200K, lol). DDS was better; 4 extra hits v. 2 extra hits on your spec bar. Poison makes a difference, esp. in PC. Plus the thing makes you look really noob.

99 capes. 3rd age: people selling off rares to buy them. No news on the rares front; no famous merchers banned, no serious price manipping.

I train without looking at the screen. I plug in headphones, listen purely to the in-game sounds to tell if my character has stopped attacking, and for any random sounds. 1) Is this against the rules; is it AFK? I am technically right in front of my computer, doing homework. 2) If one was to report me (since my character doesn't move or respond to their noob questions) for this, could Jagex viably ban my account? I was just at Flesh Crawlers, played only by listening to in-game sound (while browsing forums) (didn't really move mouse, or click on the RS screen) and I was def. there more than 30 sec. They still attacked.

KQ easily has 250 HP. Chaos E has 350. Dag Kings are around 275. High level drags ~220. :shock:

I was reading up bolt specs... Apparently ruby bolt has the ability to do 20% of your opponent's HP in one shot (of course you get hit 10% of your own HP, otherwise its too good). Questions: 1) How often does this special hit? 2) Does it work for NPCs with ~300 HP? (you'd be hitting 60's... o_o) The dragon bolt spec is quite good too: possibility to hit using dragonfire. Questions: 1) How often does this special hit? 2) How high does this special hit? And if you don't know, please test them out! :) It's in your best interest to help me out here; you could definitely profit with these spec if they indeed hit well.

If you stand away from KQ, will it go up to you to melee against you, or will it stand there using only range and mage?

That is my exact outfit :shock: This is at least a 10 mil dollar fit, not many could afford this besides i find the granite pl8 to be awesome, easily ubtanable and cheap cost. The new best "reasonable" melee armour i also find it funny that most people are looking for rockshell legs to match the granite pl8, people want granite legs to but they are expensive Silly. Take out the Fury. Replace with Gnome amulet. Take out the Whip. Take out the Berk. Youre still getting ~230-240 Def bonus. There goes your 10M.

Can downloading RS-related videos from Youtube give you keyloggers? The question can also be answered using this question: Does Youtube convert your files to .flv or do you have to convert to .flv before you upload? I'm 90% sure that it's not possible to transfer a virus from one file format to another. If someone could also confirm this that'd be great.

+30-+60 is quite substantial def bonus. I see a difference even when training on Bandits, Level ~58

The fighter torso really doesn't lower your total defence by all that much. If people are willing to sacrifice the defence of their shield for a defender they I can't see why you wouldn't for this armour. Silly, silly. Torso is -60 -35 -60 compared to Torag. You gain +4 strength. Def is -30 -30 -30 compared to Dragon Shield. You gain +20 +20 +20 ATTACK. +5 STRENGTH. I would exchange 3 defense points for 2 attack points anyday, but NOT for the +5 strength. The attack points rae the only reason why i use defender.

^Spam.. ahaha. Using the plate, over time you're getting a XP boost. This is the only practical use of the plate; in any other case I'd rather use rune or Barrows. I train 60K an hour, it lets me hit 3% more, so that should be 1.8K xp extra per hour. That's roughly 1/30th an hour saved per hour of training. Assuming it takes 3 hours to get the thing, that would mean you would have to train 90 hours for the strength bonus to pay off. In addition you're being hit a lot more, as your defense is decreased 40-60. Which means you'd have to take in account food-restocking (you're not using Guthans) time and cost. Diagnosis: Waste of time.

My herbs have taken more than 2.5 hours to grow... does anyone know why? It happened for 3 of my patches today and 2 yesterday. :\ It's REALLY annoying me.

I saw someone say they could KQ once in 6 minutes, solo... :\ and with supersets I'm basically 120 combat.

1) How effective will KQing be (both SOLO and DUAL) with these stats? The ones in (parentheses) are a set of levels that I could potentially reach. [At/85] (.../85) [De/76] (.../80) [sr/85] (.../90) [HP/84] (.../85) [Pr/50] (.../60) I will be using Verac. 2) How many ppots/sharks/monks/sarabrews will I use per trip? 3)How many trips will I make every hour?

Can you get a lost hat back? Also, can you use brutals against Chompies? Can you poison ogre arrows and brutals?

Do staves autocast at different speeds? According to the KB -- Staff/Speed rating: Elemental/5 Mystic elemental/5 Slayer/6 Iban/5 God/6 Ancient/6 Ahrim/4 Obsidian/4 Do these speeds reflect melee attack speed or casting attack speed?

Can you use it without the hunting level? Along with all the other new range gear.

The multicombat ability allows faster xp, doesn't it? In PC you will always be able to meet 9 monsters in a 3x3 area. Assuming you get roughly 20 hits a minute with the chinchompas, hitting 9 x 5 (average hit) = 45 every hit. That's 4 x 45 = 180 xp a hit, 3.6K xp a minute, and ~200K an hour.

Does the extra damage you do with bolt specs (for example dragonstone, dragon breath, can hit like 50...) give you normal xp (4 xp for every 1 damage)

I belive it about a week ago I saw a guy hit i think a 76 on a PORTAL! High def doesn't reduce your max hit, so there's nothing amazing about that. Maybe the kid jsut has high attack, or is lucky.
