A Shadow begins to cast from the North...
Epic points to whoever takes him out with help from Lunar Magic, considering that is Armadyl's magic. And Armadyl is of course the Goddess of Good, countering Zaros being the God of Evil. Just like Saradomin is the God of Order and Zamorak the God of Chaos. Ooh, maybe even use the Staff of Armadyl. Can anyone confirm this? I don't remember this at all from Lunar. If it is, I'd be honored to use Lunar... but atm it's really useless aside from farming. Let's throw plant pots and weeds at each other to deal 120309 damage... ;) Only effective way of doing damage with Lunar is Vengeance, which is annoying to use. And that's a level 90+ skill. Mage is either gonna get really popular, or it's not going to be done with Lunar.. Iban is a Zamorak follower, and as far as I'm concerned Zaros and Zamorak hate each other.

RuneScape Levels and Experience formula
It'd be a lot more useful if you just explained it. I know some basic Java and I can't even really understand that code. Put the forumla into excel and plug out some graphs and charts :D Jagex wrote RS in Java/RuneScript. Makes more sense for it to be in Java.

New hidden miniquest
That's actually REALLY cool. It'll go well with a lot of outfits. One of the shadows is called Ganon? If I'm not mistaken that's really close to the guy from Zelda... copy right infringement?

What is the official staking world? Thanks :)

Monsters of The Security Stronghold-Overlooked?
It's really annoying because the 20-minute rule applies, but in order to run around to break the 20-minute rule you have to go through the doors. Which is a pain, since it takes 20-30 seconds longer than normal each run.

RS Dreams?
I dream about wearing Torag Plates in real life... This is the kid who got a "White P Hat" for his birthday. (So I could actually look like my RS char...) I can't post the picture though x)

My Story.
Very interesting. You are a smart person, R2. I remember selling you a blue for 150, that felt horrible x)

Farmers Get Owned (At Least On Ebay)
I'd like to make a point, though, about people being lazy with their money. LIFE is like that. It's a pretty redundant comment; you'll find lazy bums everywhere in life, because it's human nature to be lazy. And don't accuse them of being lazy, it'd be pure hypocrisy.

Helm of Neitiznot Vs. Berserker Helm
Jagex is doing this for a reason. I dont know for sure, but it seems like theyre trying to get rid of PvP. Why? PvP results in people quitting (by losing items)

Woodcutting Analysis: Dragon Axe vs. Rune Axe
I lose my head like every other run (anyone know a way to get rid of this/make it occur less often... or am I just crazy unlucky?). So I REALLY don't want to risk a 3M+ item just for a bit of WC xp. Otherwise, I'm right with you. You might want to move to PMGuides. Or at least I'd like to see it there :)

Farmers Get Owned (At Least On Ebay)
At first I thought you were talking about Farming, as in the Farming with watercans as a symbol. I don't imagine people selling ranarr seeds for 20 bucks each on ebay. Ppots for my english test pl0x  I always thought Ebay was small for farming. But I dont have much experience with it, so I wont say anymore. Jagex should talk to PayPal about farming transactions. Theyre business partners already.

Vengance
Wait, so for those 50 seconds you have the complete recoil effect? I belive so, every 50 sec you have to cast the spell again to have it work again. I think you answered another question.. I meant if the vengeance spell effect last through the entire 50 seconds, or is it only hit once and then wait 50 seconds

Cheapest spell for barrows...
It's a poor idea to try to minimize spell cost. Higher damage kills brothers faster, both reducing risk of losing your items and reducing PPot/food costs, which are much higher than rune costs. If you're THAT concerned about cost, go with Iban Blast. Hits 25, only costs 1 Death and some other things. But it requires a quest and is a pain to recharge (120 shots... you can probably get multiple staves to recharge but that gets expensive)

Vengance
Can someone give me a general overview of how the Lunar Lvl 94 spell Vengance works? I know it hits back 75% of the damage that a monster hits you... but 1) do you have to cast it every time you get hit? 2) is it hard to use? could i be using it while i KQ, for instance?

99 Hunting
How long will it take? Disregard money. What is fastest way to train and what is its speed in xp/hr?

Firemaking XP rate
I happen not to have access to RS at the moment. Saying 1 number isn't that difficult, and I really don't appreciate your ramblings on my post.
-
Firemaking XP rate
I'm noob at firemaking, but I'm interested in getting 99 FM. For purposes of calculation (hence, rough estimates suffice): 1) How many logs do you burn an hour? 2) Yews or Maples? 3) Where to train?

Alternative armors and the GER. [criticism, please!]
Because they are commonly used. If you're more insightful you'd realize the main point of this guide is for alternatives to the more popularly used items.

Alternative armors and the GER. [criticism, please!]
I. Introduction. a. Basic Introduction. Armor is an integral part of Runescape. This is obvious. Our use of armor, however, is not nearly as intuitive. Based on my understanding of the combat system and my combat values, I see many mistakes regarding armor use. Thus I have written this guide intending to dispel these armor myths. b. Runescape Combat System. i. Attack: Attack helps a person hit more often and through higher defense values. ii. Defense: Defense prevents an opponent from hitting often (it does not reduce your opponent̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s maximum hit, however). iii. Strength: Higher strength values let you hit higher. Magic and Range do not have Strength values; the maximum damage is determined by your ammunition. c. Performance v. Training Gear. i. Performance: Performance gear is highly effective armor, used for fighting high-leveled monsters, PvP, or otherwise epic battles. Performance gear demands different things from your armor. ii. Training: Training is for everyday use, for leveling. Yet again, you look for different bonuses in your armor while training. d. The Roles in Performance i. Attack: Attack is very important in performance gear. While fighting demanding battles, your opponent often has high defense. Attack values in gross excess of 100 melee/125 range should not be a surprise, especially when going against level 300+s. ii. Defense: Defense is second to attack in performance gear. While in some cases where your opponent has obscenely high attack (Jad), rendering high defense essentially useless, blocking otherwise lethal attacks is definitely a plus. iii. Strength: Strength is not nearly as important as defense or attack in performance battles. While the ability to deal damage is good, often the issue is hitting at all. e. The Roles in Training i. Attack: You should typically be training melee against level 30-80 NPCs. Any attack values over 100 melee/125 range/50 magic should allow you to hit 90% of the time, making additional attack useless. ii. Defense: Defense is usually important for high efficiency. Efficiency can be drastically reduced if you must use lots of food and therefore restock. Therefore it makes sense to use melee armors while training magic and range. iii. Strength: Strength is usually key in training. It̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s what makes 60K an hour possible in P2P, while 30K an hour in F2P. For range/mage, I usually use expensive ammo, even when the increased efficiency is not proportional to the extra cost. f. The Gross Excess Rule ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅGER̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

Power ammy vs. str ammy (f2p)
I'm surprised; most people are to some degree wrong here. It should be PKing/Power, Training/Ruby. For PKing on F2P, it makes a huge difference to be hitting often instead of hitting high. +6 attack may get you an extra hit on your opponent. An extra +4 (Ruby str bonus compared to Power str bonus) will only deal, on average, .5 extra damage per hit (you're not hitting much anyway). The +6 defense is also important while PKing. For training, let us use the following example. You're testing out both ammies for 100 damage-rounds. With power: Assume you hit 93% of the time. Also assume your maximum damage is 16. Therefore your average hit will be 8. With strength: Assume you hit 90% of the time. Also assume your maximum damage is 17. Therefore your average hit will be 8.5. With power: 93%(100) = 93 hits. 93 hits x 8 damage/hit = 744 damage. With strength: 90%(100) = 90 hits. 90 x 8.5/hit = 765. :)

*WHY* Are Prices Rising?
It still seems hard to find sellers 1K+ for 1K ea, I was used to seeing lots of 1.1K's. W2 isn't that bad, really (unless it has changed drastically in the past month that I haven't had P2P). I've been merching on W1 recently, it's kind of funny how many sickly little kids there are who ruin their moral development for 1KB of yellow pixels.
