I've been playing Runescape since around 2001. Finally, I've gotten 1,000 F2P Skill Total, after several PHats, scams, hiatuses, other accounts, and countless hours of training. I'm truly proud of this accomplishment. I, however, have always treated 1000 F2P total as a turning point. I planned 1000 to be my F2P retirement day - and finally, after several years of my good ol' F2P ways, I am getting membership. Over the past days, I have amassed 1000 items of variable value. There are 10 types of items, and 100 instances of each type. The first character/letter in each of these types of items spells out the following: Some two-worded items even have both words begin with the letter :P To celebrate, I will be giving away these items in their sets of 100, to the 10 people who respond to this post first (that want the item). I also drank my first Red Bull, the most drugged non-alcoholic legal drink. :wink: Note: The contest is over. I have to make a decision regarding a new set of armor. Please tell me if my opinions are valid: Helms----------- D Med: Waste of money, and saves over whip. Beserker: Decent and cheap. But ugly. Heralded rune large: Looks amazing. Cheap. Doesn't save over whip, for sure. Shield------------ Obisidian: Matches with whip. Stats aren't extremely good. Expensive? (Why, you can buy it from the store...). I don't remember if it saves over whip. D Square: Looks decent. But stats are horrible, considering its the most expensive sheild. Saves over whip. Heralded rune kite: Looks amazing (Zammy, if I had 70 pray... but for now, skull) Cheap. Stats aren't terribly good, but they're decent. Body and Leg Armour------------ Dragons: Waste of money. Dharok's: Best stats in game, not terribly expensive, looks really good. Barrows bonus is decent. Verac's: Stats are a bit worse, pretty much useful only for large kills (soloing), I hate the skirt and the shirtlessness. Gunthan's: Makes you look terribly fat. Expensive. But the best, stat and bonus wise. Torag's: Makes you look terribly fat. Helm is ugly. :D

I think I'm smart enough to do that. :lol: As far as I can tell, they dont give you a pure "cash" option.

My foot itches :oops: Is it possible to pay membership with cold, raw cash? I.e., does PayByCash not accept "cash"? If they don't, that's ridiculous. "Cash" isnt listed in types of transactions for PayByCash. Thanks :-$

I might join p2p, aiming to do the quests, fight caves, barrows, castle wars (combat related stuff) Stats: 82 str 80 atk 70 def 79 hp 69 mag 49 range 48 pray (95 comb) I am aiming for: 85 atk 85 str 80 def 83+hp 85+ mag ? range 60 pray (105+ comb) before or after I join P2p. Questions ----------------------------------------------------- 1) Full dragon or barrows? 2) Weapons? Whip only has attack. 3) How much money do I need for these? I have ~300m in rares and no cash; how much should I sell? 4) Skills to train? (I'll probably ignore farming and construction) 5) What quests to do? 6) Any other advice. 7) Would you recommend PayByCash? Thanks!

I came up with the idea of setting up a business for RS. The basic idea is to: 1) Hire mass amounts of noobs to get items (not necessarily in bulk) for cheap, from general stores or work themselves 2) Buy these items from them for cheap prices 3) Sell at a high price. I would buy items such as Willows, which are buyable at 12 ea from GStores, sellable at 30-40 Pizza ingredients, which are obtainable at respawns, make the pizzas and then sell at 300-400 (Anchovy = 18 HP, best F2P food!) Bones, for my own use Talismans, for my own use Gems, for my own use Obviously, it's hard to get mass amounts of noobs. So I'd have to mass advertise these job openings. Obviously, I can't use a website (Darned Jagex!), so I'm planning to make a flyer describing these various jobs, and then passing them out to kids I know in local schools. I would offer a cash incentive for people that refer new "employees" to me, and the business would grow. What do you think? Low labor, business experience, almost free gp. :D And BTW - feel free to copy this idea! And tell me if you're successful :P

Hmm, I think they use an attack style called bite. Not sure if it's agressive/defensive/slash/crush whatever. No you can't see the attack style. However you can test out which it is by using armours that which attack styles are weak of and find out by doing that. That's really hard to tell.

Is there any easy way to tell which attack a monster is using? Also, to be more specific - what attack do giant spiders use? Thanks! :D

I've dared to ask a question probably no one knows - how exactly does wine ferment? I've been experimenting for the past hour, and sometimes the wine randomly ferments in my bank after a few seconds. And then another time I took 6 unfermented wines out as notes, deposited them again, and withdrew them as items. It then took about 1-2 minutes for them to ferment. If fermentation is random, why would groups of wines ferment at the same time? I.e., if I prepare 5 wines, they all ferment together. :-s Crazy Jagex.

There was this little thing called fatigue. #-o You gained a little bit of fatigue when you gain xp, and once you gain max fatigue points you dont gain any xp. You cured fatigue by sleeping :lol:

I had some questions regarding Jagex's rules for RS. Obvioulsy I should have contacted Jagex on these issues, but apparently Jagex doesnt answer F2P players' questions :-k And I already looked at the knowledge database. 1) Apparently "AFK" (away from keyboard) training is against the rules. Is doing something else while RSing (e.g. CS, forum browsing) considered AFK, as you're not actively playing RS? 2) Is the use of stickykeys (my regular mouse click is REALLY loud, stickykeys makes it so much softer) macroing? It just helps you click. =\ :D
