I'd guess you paid in total about 2.6mil. Seeing as feathers are 10ea. Which is pretty normal, but you can buy a whip for 2.5 without too much hassle. So you could have just got away with paying the cash you had, and kept seeds etc. But not really a rip off.

I think you meant smithing. If you're nonmember, then no. If you are member, theres a few quests with smithing xp rewards, but knights sword is the most. Look at the quests section in the manual on the runescape site to see a list of quest experience rewards.

Also because people buy willows to fletch. The willows in stores are only in F2P, where the macroers cut them, so you can't buy and fletch there.

Two questions. I'm got members last week, and I got a couple of questions. 1) barrows armour needs repairing after 15 hours. Is this 15 hours of wearing it, or 15 hours of wearing it in combat. i.e. does the time go when you're wearing it but not fighting? 2) Haven't started farming, but I want to know this: Do your crops only grow when you are logged on, or do they keep going when you logged out? Thanks in advance for answering.

Cuts for uncuts is slow because there are so few people who need it. Your method is good if you want a bit of combat xp. Bowls in the guild is faster for crafting xp if thats your only aim, and its free. Personally I don't think theres much point walking to rimmington to sell, its not worth it for 17gp per body. I just dropped mine.
-
Yes you can do it, no prob. I did it at 55 combat with even melee stats, and rune scimmy, and only ate 4 lobs. Just bring a tele in case, and full invo of food. Use whatever prayer you have.

Firstly, oglibrary, it would be nice if you treated people with more respect. Also, you overuse and misuse the word noob. On topic though, rune mining is a skill which will improve with experience. Personally, mining at 82 combat in F2P wasn't that easy. I never lost any ore to pkers, mostly because of my lvl 4 scout, which died a few times. I got about 100 ores before I stopped to work on my cooking. Its a good money maker, but be prepared if you aren't 100+ combat as it isn't easy. Also, it gets frustrating as most of the time you will log in and the rocks have already been mined. There are over 10k ppl with 85+ mining now, even if only 4 are actually mining rune, it makes it difficult.

BEST way to get to 63 crafting whilst F2P
ishepp replied to Michael_Allen's topic in Help and Advice
I disagree about tiaras. Obviously hardleather if you have money. But the best way to raise for free is to make bowls in the guild. I got 70 crafting in F2P, and this was the best method. When i got to about 62 craft I decided it was too slow still for me, and bought hides for the rest. But bowls are better than tiaras. Just wield a pick and use 4 jugs. Drop the bowls and start over. -
With those resources, I estimate about 4 years. Smithing needs $. Btw, lvl 53 is about 1% of 99.

catablepons are the only things to drop the top, ankous the only thing to drop left half. So unless you plan on killing any, you won't get another sceptre, and your right/bottom parts are useless. Furryturtle go and set some questions now. You need them for the rewards, and you should have them anyway to keep your account more secure. No idea if it affects drops, but it might do.

I'm lvl 88 and I've been training in the stronghold. Go to the second lvl down and fight the flesh crawlers and zombies. They auto attack you so its just about the fastest xp in the F2P game right now. After a while they stop attacking, so just go to a different area. Theres a good spot in the north west corner I think, and move towards the centre to find another place. Food will last you ages. And when you run out, tele varrock, bank, tele with sceptre, and walk down, only takes a minute. These are about the right lvl to train on, lessers you need to eat too much. And the autoattacking makes it perfect, less clicking.

Had leo about 15 times before I dropped the clothes. 5000gp richer I suppose. But bank space was too important so I dropped. Had it 3 more times since then, dropped the stuff you get. I'd rather have 5 free bank spaces than 500gp. I got leo a lot as I trained mostly at mossies before this security update. F2P as well.

Just started playing again, need major help

1. Its a random event. Go here for more info about random events: http://tip.it/runescape/?page=random_events.htm 2. Roll your mouse over one of your skills, its shows your current xp and xp for next lvl. -
Just did some research on the site. One of the guys running it goes under the name of Sunny. Sound familiar? If not, see who was posting on this thread that its the best guide ever and everyone should buy it. Yeah. Owned.

I already posted on this (page 2) but clearly people still aren't convinced. So, its Comparison Time. General Info Guide: 115 pages. Tipit: 1000s upon 1000s of pages. Merchanting help Guide: 5 out of 25 chapters, so about 20 pages. Tipit: Countless threads telling you the same stuff, but from people who are richer. Skill guides: Guide: Couple of pages on each skill Tipit: Detailed guides on everything you need to know about a skill, plus the forums for questions and help, not to mention calculators and planners. About the author: Guide: 1 guy, lvl 100+, no further info, posts a fake bank picture though (yes it really is fake!). So he's not ultra rich anyway. But he's the only person with an abyssal demon in the bank :^o Tipit: 1000s of forum members, lvl 3 to 126, with plenty of people already 99 in various skills (checks sig). Also master merchants, stakers, pkers, a fair few billionaires, etc. Cost: Guide: $4, almost a months membership. Tipit: Free. Infinitely cheaper than the guide. So in summary, you really don't need this guide, you have tip.it. I will say again what I said before: This is a real life scam.

Highscores/minimum skill levels for 1mil and 100k rank
ishepp replied to Umega's topic in General Discussion
But when the macroers get banned, they get removed from highscores. Its just that these are all basic skills which are fairly easy to raise and make money with. Anyway, this is a useful post. Maybe this could be extended, and include lvl for 100k and 10k ranks? Up to you though. -
Fly fishing is generally accepted to be the fastest fishing xp at any lvl. Didn't see the bit about P2P, so actually Shilo Village is better than Barbarian, if you have done the quest. Fish there until you want to fish something for money. At least to 40 though. You could go to 68 for the guild if you are determined enough, or 76 for sharks if you are absolutely crazy.

The granite mine is a less known powermining spot, but it is the best place, according to anyone who knows about it. Seeing as your dropping ores anyway.
-
You could always try standing in banks typing furiously until someone sells you some.
-
It's probably quite useful, but next time write in better english without the abbreviations like "u", "ur" "newhere", and also use more full stops. Maybe your apostrophe button is broken so we can let you off there. There are several better guides around too, if you use the search. I guess it helped someone though...

Firstly, no need to bump after 10 minutes because you haven't got a reply. These aren't the fastest moving forums in the world. The sceptre was a new update which wasn't supposed to be easy to get for everyone. It's nice to have a challenge which takes more than 1 load of lobs to get the reward. Pures aren't everything either, they are made for pking only right? So don't expect to have full advantages of the whole game.
