  1. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=543571 From archive of wisdom. Tells you requirements to all quests
  2. Mostly they are only useful for protecting higher crops, especially if you just spent a few hundred k on tree seeds its nice to know they will still be alive the next day. Some of them have other uses, strawberry baskets make good food (30hp in 1 spot) and you can use products to make things like tuna and sweetcorn potatoes. Or, just put them all in a compost bin and get a little bit more xp
  3. Sorry if I'm bursting a little bubble here but you can now get full veracs for well under 5m. But anyway, veracs is great for the pray bonus, use it when you fight high lvl creatures. The defence bonuses are much better than rune too, its like wearing initiate with rune on top lol, and then a bit more. Metal drags are a must if you have good enough combat to melee them, its great fun, but read a guide first
  4. Unfortunately greed is something a lot of people have issues with. I remember when I had my 99 cooking party I dropped a few items, inventory worth perhaps 300k. I just remember one of my "friends" complaining about only getting 1k fire runes from the drop. I mean, wasn't the idea to be celebrating an achievement, not getting free stuff. Greed is after all the base behind all scammers and macroers, and there's rather a lot of them. People who want lots for nothing. I'd rather earn what I get, theres much more of an achievement in that, and more fun to be had. I have also in the past hosted a few quizzes/races/whatever I can think of, when I'm bored (when I was F2P) and you see that people are there to get the prize money, not really just to have fun.
  5. I'm gonna do fight caves today, but I'm worried that there will be an update and I'll log out and be back at the start. Last time I tried caves, (not properly though just for fun) I logged out when my mum needed the computer and I was back outside again. Are there particular waves you can log out in, or do you have to somehow log out in between waves?
  6. You also lose the cost of 1k ess, which is 20k, so you lose 25k per 1k ess. Costing you about 100k an hour, but getting 20k xp an hour too
  7. You should farm ranarr and fletch yew longs if you can. 600k+ an hour there. And 32 farming is easy, 70 fletch not too hard. Alternatively, farm ranarr and merchant. Basically farming takes 5 minutes every hour and a half, and you get back double what you put into it. By the time you plant 100 seeds you've made 2mil. And the best thing is you can do other things while it grows. I fletch my longs, but also have it growing when I train anything else.
  8. The idea of the "official" runecrafting worlds is not to make money, its simply to get the fastest xp in the game. Law runecraftingon 66 for example you get nothing, but you lose pure essence. The air runecrafting on world 16, you stand there and say "open 2.5k" and someone will trade you. You give them 25 noted ess and 2.5k and they give you 25 un noted ess. You craft and repeat. You can buy ess at 20 each, so each round you spend 500gp on ess and 2.5k on runner. 3k spent and you get 125 airs. So you lose money, but like I said, its supposed to be for xp not money. Every 11 levels you lose less money, and you can make a profit after a while depending on how much you sell airs for. I runecrafted 17k ess when I did it, and made 102k airs, so I spent about 2.2mil and only got 1.5 back when I sold, but I got from 56 to 60 runecraft in 4 hours, worth it in my opinion.
  9. So the bow I just bought will cost another 900k to charge when its used?
  10. Farming is easy, and can make good money. To lvl up fast, just plant what trees you can. Bushes are also reasonable xp. Other than this just plant every single seed you have, starting with the highest. Plant flowers to protect and use supercompost all the time. You can buy pinapples from ship traders in catherby. Plant ranarrs in herb patches. Buy the ranarr seeds 20k each and sell ranarrs for profit. My farming round used to be catherby, ecto to canafis, glory to draynor, tele ardy, then do hops patches by tele watchtower, tele lumby, tele cammy. Bank at any banks on the way. You can drop any crops, theyre mostly useless really. Just keep replanting. I have 55 farming now, and I've barely planted trees, just a few willows and apples. I only farm ranarr now to save a bit of time, and I used all my seeds so I need to thieve. After a few rounds it becomes routine, I can do my herb round running before I run out of energy, thats how fast it is. You could farm 4 allotment/flower/herb patches, 3 hops patches (not entrana) 3 bush patches (not etceteria) and 4 tree patches, and you only need to go around every hour or hour and a half, and once every 2 rounds for the trees. Lvls will fly past. You could be lvl 40 in a day just logging on every hour to plant stuff. Anyway, hope you understood that. If you don't have any seeds, steal some from master farmers, or ask for free potato seeds
  11. no one pays 2.1 for a whip anymore. I suggest merchanting raw materials, theres much better money there.
  12. I just went back for my first recharge so that I can attempt caves, went to the wrong elf lol and bought a new bow for 900k. So now I have a bow and a seed. Is the seed tradable, and price check if yes please. Also, if you have 2 bows, do the charges get cheaper for both, or do they count separately.
  13. 10 years old...isn't the minimum age 13 anyway? But before we go off topic, you must have done something to be muted. Perhaps it was someone on your account though, but then you would have lost some items. I'd just wait 2 days and let it pass.
  14. In theory you could buy for 1.1 sell for 1.3 The difficulty is in finding buyers/sellers with a 200k difference.
  15. Don't bother merchanting any of them, its too slow money, and the prices will always decrease over time. You should merchant materials like ores and bars, lobs, to name a few. You can make much more this way.
  16. Just a few things I'd like to say (not criticising) This is a very good guide :) I used this method for 1 day only, but I burned through 17k ess in 4 hours and went from 56 rc to 60. Cost me 1.7mil and came out with about 100k airs. This is the FASTEST XP in f2p runecraft. A couple of things though. To be an official crafter, you should wear black priest robes, according to the company. Also, you should be paying 2.5k per run. There are always people trying to pay less, but principle says I would always pay the 2.5k, as I'm using the company. No need to actually APPLY, seeing as the thread would be on the forums accessible to members only. Just turn up with your black clothes, tiara and lots of ess and money :D It would be good to use a table for the profitablilty too, someone elses good suggestion
  17. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=299633 This is all the guide to farming you will need. After reading all of this, develop your own methods with all the tips in the guide. I used this guide, now lvl 54 farming, I only plant ranarr and the odd tree these days, after I ran out of useful seeds. Clearly you won't have a problem there. I do suggest some organisation of this part of your bank though. It helps to have some order. The main tips I can offer you are to use supercompost as much as possible, the charter ship traders in catherby stock 15 pineapples :D Also, do fairy tale pt 1 for the magic secateurs which supposedly increase crop yield
  18. The thing which determines how much you get hit is your current hp. Stay under 20hp and you only get hit 2s. Wear lightness boots and bring about 26 food, 2 spots for entrance fee and tickets. I got to 52 there, its not worth the time you spend after that.
  19. draynor is closest if you are walking both ways. I suggest wielding an air staff and bringing laws and waters. Teleing to fally is the fastest money and xp for lob fishing f2p.
  20. You can use 3k chaos in 1 trip to metal drags. I suggest killing irons, and don't stand too close to them, or you'll get meleed. If you keep distance, they just use firebreath attacks. I suggest bringing 12-16 pots, someone may give you a better idea. You shouldn't need pray pots, but you might want to bring one if you are inexperienced at metal drag slaying. Don't forget your shield, axe and 875gp to get in. And you don't get dragon drops at cwars
  21. Just wondering if theres anywhere you can pick apples, off trees. I want to protect my willow and banana trees and so I'll need around 250 apples. Getting boring waiting for lumby chest to spawn, its fine when I'm fletching, but gonna take ages. I'm aware of the cooking guild and north ardy spawns, these are too slow.
  22. Be useful if someone could give me more info on this item. Are there any requirements to wear it, like farming lvl? Can you tie it to any type of patch? (thinking of herbs mostly). I'm aware that the ammy is nontradable, but are magic roots tradable, and if so how much would they be? Thanks
  23. It takes 10 minutes to look at the new updates in the KB. So less time than finding out here.
  24. This is still illegal under the drop trading rule, as you have transferred items between your own accounts. ____________________________ Lvl 3-15 = chickens Lvl 15-30 = cows Lvl 30-45 = hill giants Lvl 45-60 = hill giants Lvl 60-99 = moss giants Other information and comments ____________________________ I am assuming you want to retrieve arrows and drops. You can range lessers effectively from about 70 range if you need the drops, but stick with mossies or ice warriors or giants from 70 range if you want fastest xp.
