Because she's trapped it weakens the other Dagannoth from what I gathered from the dialogue from Brundt and Baba

Might be unoriginal but it relates to the dagannoth so it's not really since that's what the quest is related to :P I thought it was a good quest tbh but reward was too generous :P

I stood a few squares away from the Mother and basically maged and ranged, melee was very rare, so Surged with good mage gear, didn't take long at all ;)

Only just finished it, I did enjoy the quest first time seen that many numbers in a quest shame about the ending though :P reward was ok but xp isn't really a thing i'm after but I guess its great for the majority, good quest :)

Am I the only one that thinks jagex has to make a sailing skill to stop this "sailing1!111" nonsense? everytime water, sea, a boat or a word beginning with S or a skill is mentioned sailing has to come up. It's the Christmas update but I wouldnt rule out a double update next week.

Well FTP3 is still scheduled this month I think, last year the Xmas event was released on the 16th, so around that timeframe I guess (we could get 2 updates next week)

Aww, poor baby has his build spoiled? Using the new slayer master would screw up your pureness or whatever crap you're trying to do. Poor baby. Isn't everything unfair. Unfair to level 3's with 99 slayer and unfair to the people who don't want to work for anything. I'm so tired of the whining. BTW, before anyone can say anything, I don't whine. Firstly, Thats not my argument at all. I'm basically saying that i don't see the point of having a high combat level req when your slayer level is high enough. slayer isn't exactly easy to train, but by giving the masters high combat requirements jagex is favoring MELEE BASED characters (you can't deny it). Like it or not, it is very clear that a 110 combat requirement is hard to attain even with maxed tanking stats (99 def/range/hp/pray). its already hard enough for rangers to compete with warriors since warriors can reap the full benefits of the black mask, however i'm not complaining about that. I'm not sure what you assumed about my logic. i never said anything about new skills being [cabbage], i enjoy training skills, and i've already trained slayer enough to be in the top 130k in the world, which at 96 combat is respectable, to say the least. and to metoo: probably your most blindsighted comment was that about me spending 5 minutes a week on runescape. what the hell are you talking about? if you looked a few pixels below my post you probably would have seen that i'm a ranged tank. and at 99 def/hp/range/75 pray range tanks are only level 106-7 without summoning. somehow you think getting a character to these levels must be "easy". and fyi- i do train summoning, at first it was only to get a bss but not i do use it and am collecting charms for it. and to be honest, i hate arguing with Tif'ers because the majority of them are much higher leveled than me and some tend to think that the world revolves around them (nobody forced you to respond to my post, me_hate_libs). So I won't be replying to your response out of respect for this forum, as i've clearly stated my purpose for posting. My solution train summoning aslong as you dont have a pouch on you in PvP it wont effect anything. Or use Duradel ;)

I wouldn't worry about it too much if I were you, people concider things moaning, complaining when it could be saying a dislike or offering criticism, you can be labelled anything a nerd a noob, depressive too happy, anti social, too chatty people are never happy with others so "offer criticism/complain" :P about updates all you like somebodys got to do it

I agree with paw and it'd make a hell of a quest having god like powers in specific areas I was asking people would it be possible (to the reply of n0 LULz), even somehow be invovled in a ritual to turn us into a mahjarrat would be epic lol

It's less crowded though (no campers) and the +4 damage ring is worth going for hitting faster really adds up on the longgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg journey to 99 :smile:

well 25k exp on top of the exp you get from killing the other monsters? if so how much exp is it total for a "jad" task or is it just 25k exp and thats it? You get xp for other monsters too.
