  5. Well I still say her gerbil avy is evil and two of the thumbnail links don't work. :-k Other than that, her skills keep getting better and better. :
  6. I have a laptop, but I dont usually take it out with me. The dang thing is too heavy... :wall: Anyways the thing is, I usually draw a sketch on paper first, then scan it to my computer and line/color/shade it from there. The mouse isnt accurate enough sometimes. And I end up spending more time on it than I should. :(
  7. Stay on topic... :-$
  8. He wasn't an absolute monarch... If the PM as you say rigged the elections (keyword elections) would their monarch's power be absolute? And btw their king has always been there ever since the late 40s/early 50s... He has seen dozens of governments, democratic or not. And he remains a figure head. Or right now, probably being used by the generals... Its too early to say. :-k The UK has a queen. She has no power, but she's still there. Tony Blair and his cronies have all the power. That's like how it is in Thailand, except the MONARCH has all the power and the PRIME MINISTER is *elected* to do insignificant tasks like diplomatic duties. What little power the PM actually posseses (possesed), he uses (used) mainly for fulfilling personal obligations. Even though the military is overthrowing him, the king will still be in complete control of the government. In short, Thailand was never a democracy, therefore democracy in Thailand cannot "rest in peace." Thailand is a constitutional monarchy like the UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, etc. He is a figurehead, but he does have enourmous moral and popular support when there is a political crisis. Their king has little power in their constitution, but he does have some privilages (ie, it is illegal to mock him). The king is also very popular and respected there as I heard. The vast majority of their parliament is elected by popular vote by the people (although their PM is appointed by the King actually). And even though their Judicial supreme court judges are also appointed by the King but first nominated by the publicly elected Senate. Prospective judges are examined by a panel first. And Biggieg, I never quoted you... it was 1_man_army, not me. 1_man_army, not me. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Now about the rigging part... I DONT KNOW EITHER. Im sorry but I dont usually busy myself by watching every political event around the world in every country... Im canadian. If say our governor general here "rigs" the next election, I dont think the people in Thailand will know the background story, or even care... The same goes both ways... I looked at wikipedia too btw. :) And just to make clarification on the other 'religiously inclined' replies: Thailand is 95% perdominantly Buddhist... Not Muslim... It takes just one reply to mess up the whole topic eh?
  9. yeah ive seen a couple today, but I cant really buy em...
  10. Their Intous 9x12 model is $449.95 from them, but around 300 at some retailers. But I do have my eyes set on a wacom.
  11. I stop, drop, and sleep it out. Then start over the next day.
  12. Okay I recently just bought a crap load of software, but the problem is it takes too long to finish work with a mouse and I feel I can do better using 'pen on paper." Ive long been considering buying a tablet, but IDK what to get... Stuff im considering: 1.) Size I need a tablet that can fit a standard 8.5x12 piece of paper... 2.) Price Well wacom is industry standard, but others like aiptec and adesso looks good to. wacom is the most expensive (9x12 sizes are around $500) adesso's 9x12 are around $200 aiptec is the cheapest with around $100 for a 12x12 size 3.) Quality Wacom again = best and ive seen no complaints so far. Adesso = cheaper, but looks solid aiptec = cheapest, but I question what my drawing would look like... Im also wondering if you guys use just the tablet, or if you have a model that can draw directly into the screen. Is it hard to draw on the tablet while trying to match the strokes on the screen? Well lots of questions there, but I dont expect it all to be answered at once though. Replies would be appreciated btw. PS, I have $1000, but I dont expect to spend it all of course.
  13. Well there are other 'holidays' coming. :) Ninja day is in December I think, then theres Winter-een-mas in January.
  14. As if the UN will actually do anything. It even canceled Thailand's speech because he wasn't considered the prime minister anymore. I wasn't implying they would or wouldn't do anything. :-# I just found their choice of timing interesting.
  15. indy500fan has officially gone insane. :XD:
  16. Why do people like this bother to post in these topics? (other than to get on additional post) As you said yourself, you don't really care and your obviously lacking in maturity to discuss the issue even if you did care - "I would've loved to have been there, cause I likes tanks." Sorry if Ive been ranting like this a bit lately but Im slowly but surely getting tired of sort of rubbish that I shouldn't bother responding to. It was kinda interesting that their PM was at the UN in New York when this happened... Not a very smart move on the part of the coup leaders... :-k
  17. Umm 'Feline Americans' for kitties? :-s
