  1. The next time they play each other go see it and cheer for the all the Leaf fans out there. Stay strong and wear the Leafs jersey proudly. 2008 Stanley Cup winners = the leafs okay? Probably not, but we can dream, right? Lol I cheered for them alright XD What I meant by that was last year I was in dorm in Ottawa for University, and now im back in my house in Toronto. I tell you, there are ALOT of leafs fans even in Ottawa. <<;
  2. This thread was from last year on October! (is still a leafs fan, but not in senators country anymore) o:
  3. I was really REALLY surprised when the sens managed to climb up the ladders even if they were a bit slow to start... Personally I had high hopes for the Leafs to get to the playoffs, but 1 measly point by the Islanders knocked them off a spot... *sign* Well as long as a Canadian team gets the cup this season... I'll be happy. :(
  4. No! Elfen Lied made my cry and emotionally scared me for a week... Thanks for bringing up those horrible repressed memories!...
  5. Im begging for help here...
  6. Well first off, today I bought a wireless internet router in the hopes of setting up a home network. This is the model I bought: http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductP ... _Id=136493 I have two computers at home. An old desktop PC and a new laptop. My internet connection is a highspeed DSL service from Bell Sympatico Canada. (Its speed is around 100 Mb/s and it connects by PPPOE) It also connects to the internet by a modem and requires a username and password to log into the internet. (Kinda like dial up) So anyway, I bought the router cause the guy from the store told me it can handle cabled connections and wireless connections at the same time. So I installed the software at both my Laptop and PC. Then I connected the ethernet cable of my modem into the router, and another ethernet cable from the router to my Desktop (and sometimes my laptop). Both times, I was not able to connect to the internet and I kept getting connection errors. It goes kinda like this: In short, I can't connect to my DSL in this order PC -> Ethernet Cable -> Router -> Ethernet Cable -> Modem HOWEVER, I can connect in this order PC -> Ethernet cable - Modem I can ALSO connect wirelessly on my Laptop with little problem... But even if I can connect via wireless, my desktop still doesn't connect to the internet... even if they are sharing the same router... (My laptop is wireless and my PC is cabled, but this one doesn't work) What should I do? #-o
  7. Did anyone else find this funny? Hehe, im just kidding with you Achilleus. : Short term: Get a job, and learn to drive too. Long term: Get a more comfortable job, and a place to spend my ife in peace. I used to think that marriage and raising kids is bad for me... im im starting to think otherwise... Man I must be getting old...

Apathy just sorta comes naturally for me. I really started not caring around 11th grade... Grew my hair etc, avoided people and not going out as much, but I generally avoided doing stupid things though. Like Rebdragon said. It just takes too much effort to get angry at people, so I sorta just "tune out" of things and I just leave people alone with their business. Assuming that they will leave me at peace too.
  9. because they are in other countries. simply put, most americans have never been to another country, and could care less about deaths in africa, europe or asia. iraq is a bigger issue because many people have friends or family in the military, but still, it's not here, so it gets less attention. Right, but its seems odd that people can just not care what happens in another country. Or maybe I' m just an odd caring person :?: i don't know. Aye... Tis be the "Im in the center of the world" complex and "everything revolves around me" mentality. Its the same here in Canada, and frankly, every place on earth. If its not in their backyard, they won't look twice about it again. We're just that desensitized. :-k
  10. That being said, I distrust almost everyone I meet. Even my parents.
  11. I just need to make a will and testament. Like who gets my stuff, how my corpse will be disposed of, who will inform my friends, how they will pay for any debts I have, and so forth. Otherwise, I can anytime I guess. :-k
  12. I say either a life, a real girl, or decent graphics... :-w
  13. If kids are born with guns in Britain, guess so Youve made a comment that two people have replied with serious answers, and you have chosen to reply on such a silly remark instead?
  14. Im probably gonna be charged with tax evasion in the future just because I dont know how to do taxes properly...
  15. Why didn't they have guns to protect themselves on campus? Don't they know having guns for protection deters people from commiting crimes?! (sarcasm)
  16. This is like the first time anyone has posted about their wedding here... (Although if im not mistaken, some did say that they have a fiance now... I forget...) Well anyway, I wish you a happy life! :
  17. Prime Minister Stephen Harper is a cunning, resourceful, and somewhat evil man. :-X
  18. Is that grade 5? In Australia grade 5ers are 10. And yeh, wow Here they are 10 and 11. Those two probably got held back or something. They sound like idiots.... dear God what is this world coming too. :wall: Yeah I was 13 when I was grade 9. Speaking of which, during the time there was a rumor going around that a girl and a guy in my old school had sex out in the field beside our school. A teacher caught them though. But the whole affair was soo hush-hush that all that remains are rumors... And Warren, yeah ive read it too. Lemme put it on the front.
  19. I highly doubt that :? . What was the source? Yeah thats the first time ive heard of this too... Im skeptical. :?
  20. Haha I get it :XD:
  21. 1. How would your group acted diffrently? Most likely the same thing. Althought there would have likely been a fight. Small chance though, as most of my friends are not pushovers, but they are level headed. 2. What would you have done? I would have just stood and watch. If anything serious happens, I would have to intervene. 3. What would you have done afterwards? I would have spread the story of the incident around. If its a small town like that, someone would be bound to know those guys.
  22. If it was premeditated, would it be the teacher's fault for leaving hte class unattended? The teacher did leave on an important occasion and 15 minutes is hardly a long time. Plus the kids had someone to warn them so they wouldn't get spotted...
  23. " Poor lookout :( " says one guy... <_<'
  24. There was a look out, so it might have been. Not sure though. :-k
  25. Yeah they're getting younger and younger... Or maybe we're just getting older...
