ya thats what most pple do. but make sure u do it right. like my pure right now is lvl 21 but can weild addy. i suggest only lvlin attck and strenght

uh....y is ur combat lvls so low? i would at least get them higher and finish all the f2p quests before becomin a member. cept dragon slayer, become a member before u do dragon slayer so u get the dhide and bones

p hats are over-rated they just show off wealth so therefore i would chose the red phat + mask. eventually prices will go up. just depends on your patience

uh...i think its the dragon spear with +5 to slash stab and crush. not totally sure tho

pking is a hard to do f2p task because ur limited to only using brute strength for melee and not being able to fletch arrows or craft chaos, death, and law runes. Unfortuneatly your gonna have to decide wether or not u think ur skills are good enough for pkin.
