  1. You'll never walk alone (the Gerry and the Pacemakers version) It was sung at the end of sixth grade, which here means you go from elementary to secondary school. There was a huge party at the end of that year, a farewell party, and this is the last song we sang before the final bell rang.
  2. In Belgium (Flanders, the Dutch-speaking part) we learn French at an age of about 10. Few years later we take on English, and then even later also German. I've always wondered whether English-speaking people were taught other languages, here's my answer.
  3. Damn, I hope I didn't lose anything, I turned on my PS3 on two different occasions today, trying to make GH5 to work. Good thing I checked this thread before [bleep]ing it up completely.

Today I found out my grandmother died. What I find kinda scary is that I'm not that sad. It makes me feel somewhat inhuman.
  5. Yeah, there was a 4.0 earthquake. You're on the internet, Google is just a click away.
  6. I have a book on my nightstand called the Stupid Crook Book, about criminals that were caught because they did something stupid. I'll post some in a min. "Moronic Move 1: Our crook smashes his fist through a window in the shed - shredding his hand. MM2: Our crook successfully breaks into the second story of the nearby garage. The garage is dark, and he doesn't have a flashlight. He doesn't notice the hole in the floor, and falls through. MM3: Dazed and confused, he falls into the grease pit, cracking his skull. MM4: He gives up with the garage and breaks into the house, where he tumbles down the cellar stairs. MM5: He gives up and gets back in his car, which he looses control of, hits a tree, and smashes his head into the steering wheel. MM6: He gets out of the car, locking the doors behind him. For some reason, he then retraces his steps back into the garage, and retraces his fall back into the grease pit. MM7: He goes back to the car, and realizes he locked the keys inside. He breaks in, but by mistake puts the car in neutral. He rolls down the hill and hits a second tree. MM8: He gets knocked out by this hit, and his head falls to rest on the steering wheel. The blaring horn attarcts the attention of neighbors, who call the police. He ended up pleading guilty to criminal mischief. (He never actually stole anything.)" That guy must've been drunk lol, do they give more details? Also, I can't think of a lot, except for the many criminals that got released because of 'procedure mistakes' here in Belgium. Also, how the hell do two prisoners escape by helicopter. You'd think a prison guard would be better at spotting danger then some guard in an old game, but if they miss a freakin' helicopter landing in the yard...
  7. Haha, that was just... Great lol. On-topic, never thought about it that way, but you kinda do have a point. But they probably do have a reason for being there, as in they do get read (something doesn't seem right with that sentence).
  8. TF2 is not a sport that actually includes physical exercise (unless you find moving a mouse around 'exercise')

:ohnoes: On a lighter note, today was the last day of a weekend that I was away with school. Was awesome, and after exactly 10 days of having a guitar I did my first live performance lol, was Wonderwall and went pretty well. All in all, today was a good day.
  10. I'm not sure, but if I ever get one, I want it to have a meaning and not to be some random [cabbage] I thought 'looked cool'.
  11. Hebrews 11:1, first one is the King James version, the second one is a newer version, which is basically a simplified version. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. " ("Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.") The Bible itself says that faith isn't something to be proven, it's something that you can't really prove. The Bible says your belief should depend not on the wisdom of men but on the power of God. Also, you need to look at this from both sides, some atheists have pretty ridiculous arguments too, and most things the guy says in this article I don't really believe myself, I'm not a creationist or any of that, I realize there are many mistakes in the world. And I do believe in evolution and most scientific theories.
  12. The way he disproved the omnipotence is ridiculous, God doesn't need to prove himself. Also, he disproved creationism, which even I as a christian find stupid. Why wouldn't God be the first cause? God doesn't need a designer himself, He has just always been there and will always be there, and well, we don't really need to know where He Himself came from. The way he reasoned was kinda ridiculous, personally, I believe in Darwin's evolution theory, but I also believe God has had a hand in making evolution possible.
  13. I remember Stumbling this, finished it twice, first time with 800 clicks lol, second time was around 400 clicks. I suck lol.
  14. That's all fine and all, but imagine one of these: charging at one of those people. Do you think they would be able to land a perfect kick on this bears chest and kill it. Personally, I kinda doubt it, martial arts weren't really designed to kill animals in the first place, they are meant as a way to defend against/attack other humans. But a bear which is about 2 ft larger than you wouldn't just stop running at you by one hit in the chest, unless you're wearing daggers on your feet, in which case you're breaking the rules (and pretty bad-[wagon] too lol). I think the best chance I'd have is a crocodile with my weight. They wouldn't be too strong, I guess. If I could somehow go beside it, I can try landing on its back, it wouldn't be able to hit me with its tail because of my position, and I can try incapacitating his head.
  15. Meh, I haven't used bling so far this prestige, I'm level 46 or something. I prefer Marathon/SoH now. Also, riot shield is [cabbage]. Today I bashed a guy twice as fast as my R3 would let me, saw the hit marker twice, yet he somehow survived and knifed me while I was looking straight at him.

Grats, sounds like an awesome game, kinda makes me want to get back to football (I used to keep for a bit too). But then I get reminded of how crap my team was, and the trainings lol.
  17. Yeah, it's kinda stupid if someone claims to be a sniper in their name and end up everything but snipers in the game, even on the larger maps.

I woke up at 8 this morning. Slept at 2 last night. Didn't use my alarm. Wtf just happened?
  19. Riku, something about that sentence doesn't seem right. Do you mean Muhammad shouldn't be drawn because he is seen as equal to God? I just know that all icons are prohibited by Islam, which is why you'll find mosques are decorated with Arabic calligraphy. It's understandable that some get offended over this. If I presented a drawing of Jesus doing something horrible to a devout christian (that is, show the picture to the christian, not Jesus doing anything to the christian just to make sure it doesn't get misinterpreted), he would probably be offended too. In the end, he is stating that all muslims are terrorists with that image, which is somewhat offensive in itself, even without religious context. I'm not a muslim, but if I were, I'd be a bit annoyed by this guy, thinking he's funny for drawing that. It's not even funny tbh.
  20. Holy [cabbage]... That car posses some epic win. I dare say it has won teh intrawebs. It's incredible, it looks like a stealth plane or something. :ohnoes: It's actually based on that lol. Even the interior has fighter plane properties, like the AC unit that looks like the exhausts on an fighter jet. But yeah, that car is awesome.
  21. Lol Lenin, same here. It's just that I'm too damn lazy to stand up. Laziness kinda owns though lol.
  22. Ugh, depends. If this project Natal bs will become the new benchmark in gaming, then [bleep] it, I'm sticking to my PS3. Otherwise I'll wait for prices to drop and the versions to be a bit better (and devoid of possible bugs/production failures) before buying anything.
  23. Haha, wow. Wonder if that guy still kept his job lol.

Today I went to the guitar shop to check out my first electric guitar. I'll be buying a Fender Squier Telecaster in Sunburst, a pic for those not familiar with guitars: It'll be my first guitar, the salesman says it's the one he suggests to all beginners. I'll be taking lessons starting from next September, but until then I'll practice on my own. So far, I can already play the intro to Wonderwall, planning on learning the whole song. I'll be getting the guitar Monday hopefully. Can't wait lol. Also, was last day of school, now we've got a week of holiday, already got a bunch of things planned with my friends.
  25. you would need to buy a cap card if you want some good quality videos or you can just set up a camera on a stand and record your tv while your doing it. Yeah, get a cap card, it's much better quality than recording it with a camera. Also, whatever you do, in the end, make sure to speak in the text later in a good mic. It's way better quality, and if it'll be something like a tactic video, it'll be easier to cut stuff away without making the stuff you're saying weird. As in, you can edit the footage and still have matching text since you didn't speak everything in while playing. Also, try to think up what you'll do before doing it. Don't wing it, think of stuff you really want to tell, maybe write them down so you don't forget, then execute them multiple times so you can give multiple examples or pick out ones that didn't go too well. Otherwise, I don't know what other advice I can give.
