  1. Don't hold me to to this, but I think you have to have been in the UK and working for at least five years before you can declare yourself a citizen of the UK. I dunno, I don't like talking about this kinda stuff. The UK's traditionally always been open with its borders, so it's kinda un-British to talk about Britishness really, and I hate it when you hear all the headlines saying, "They're coming over here and stealing our taxes". Bit OT there... Daily Mail For The Lose!!! Does anybody take that paper seriously anymore? :uhh:
  2. this isn't your blog :uhh: But I don't see how this idea could be a bad thing.
  3. Maybe a few years ago, but now Runescape has been made so easy any old moron can play.
  4. LOL, it appears now that Sumpta along with Chocodude has become one of my fans! :D Welcome to the club we've got T-Shirts.

Wow. You are... how old? Seriously? 11ish? 10? LOL thats hilarious.
  6. How do you define a catastrophic attack? Bush being tripped up by someone that looks vaguely muslim.

That's not faith, mainly because you said it sarcastically and don't really believe that.
  8. I play a number of games, Runescape is at the bottom of the list. I play when I have nothing better to do, putting friends off for Runescape is an awful thing to do, never do it.
  9. The British NHS may be free but alot of people still go private because it has so many problems :| But thats not to say it is a bad thing. Yes well last time I checked Europeans aren't too fond of Americans :|
  10. I have. Me too. Hey Striker, you're already wrong, again. Well I don't believe you. I'm not saying its explicitly 18, its just that is the age people start maturing more.
  11. Worrying as I go on holiday in two weeks, I hope the threat level descends- although I guess it is "technically" the safest time to fly just...gotta worry about looking too suspicious :-k
  12. HAR HAR HAR. The irony, it's exactly what we have been saying. The exceptions I'm talking about are much smaller than the exceptions you're talking about :P
  13. ^^in Soviet Russia :
  14. Well you only have 8 posts so you could just make another account? Hmm you have to have more than one email account though.
  15. Runescape prices fluctuate so much actually maintaining a price list is alot of work I am guessing.
  16. I like my phone to be a phone, sure I can text message aswell but I don't want anything else for it to do. So no I would not buy it! Only two years ago everybody had a phone like mine -.-
  17. I don't have a problem with people being emotional (well actually it kinda annoys me) because a few days ago I was sat down having a drink with this girl I vaguely know and she started crying and it was really awkward because I had no idea what to do in a situation like that..I guess people openly showing affection like that irritates me :-k Anyway, people that "cut themselves" or be all depressed in front of others aren't really depressed they just do it for attention. People that are really depressed don't show it and usually hide behind their real emotions, they certainly don't make an expedition of it.
  18. Well there are exceptions to everything, however I don't believe this thread has proved this testament and I also have never met any teenager that I believe is in love.
  19. Way to prove us right. No, not if you read what Poopingman wrote.
  20. I have a question for you. Do you think ALL persons under the age of 18 are unable to experience 'true love'? That's the key issue here; if you meant your earlier statements as general and only indicative of the greater percentage of teenagers - then I have no problem with you. If you actually hold the view that all persons under 18 cannot experience 'true love' whatsoever, then I would have to reiterate the fundamental problem I have with this perspective as demarcated in my post a page ago. I believe Striker may just be wording it the wrong way. Simply put, most teens are too immature to experience/understand love. Not to say theres any solid, well-worn age limit in which it becomes possible. I would assume it varies from person to person, but sits at or around 20 or up. Of course, but Striker is saying EVERYONE under the age of 18 and even up... The question is: Is the percentage of immature teens high enough for someone (Striker, for instance) to go ahead and say "all teens are too immature" and get away with it. With this thread as testament, the answer is no. I'd say yes, simply because most people talking about love here are the ones that boast about their GF's on the Relationship Sticky :-s
  21. There is nothing worse than trying to eat in a smoke filled room :XD:

You're calling faith irrational? Alot of people would disagree with you, I personally don't see how the Big Bang Theory is a flawless explanation to how we got here. Yes but the Church also did much good which I've already mentioned. Blaming those disasters on religion is fairly weak, people in the past have exploited religion you're right there. But if you understand 'The fall' you will know that God gave us free will of our actions so if you consider this line of argument how people interprete and act on their actions can not really be blamed on christianity. I see religions as tolerant to one another and here in the UK people are respecting of eachothers religion and culture. The Israeli and Palestinian problem has only developed into a religious feud, the problem exists today because the Western Governments created Israel. Before this Jews and Muslims did not have such open hatred of eachother. Between Pakistan and India, their conflicts is land orinetated but people (fundamentalists) need to find a way to justify their cause they look to Religion to "guide" them. All Relgions preach peace and prosperity for humanity, its just the greed of humans that makes your view so sinister. Power has corrupted Relgions in the past you are correct but doesn't power corrupt everybody in postions of power? You can't just connect that to Religion and blame Christianity for human corruption, all institutes that contain power such as the Government are eligible for corruption.

Ok, time to wade into this debate. What benefit do religious charities have over non religious ones? They can be raise as much money I'm sure and they are at least as, if not more, ethical than religious charities. Yes but the Church as illustrated is devoted to charity and provides a large amount of help to people. I'm just saying that the church has acted as a pivotal institution for charity throughout history. What are you talking about "ethical" tell me how the work that Christian Aid does is not ethical? Because that's pretty insulting. I find that the people that have such a problem with Christianity are the ones that have had no experience of it, ever been to Church and listened before? I doubt it. Tell me how the Church is "violent", "irrational" or "intolerant" in light of what I have just told you. Tell me any examples of this? Because the vast vast majority of Christians don't make a habit of violence.

Millions upon millions of flies can't be wrong; Eating [cabbage] is good for you. Last time I checked, Human-beings outranked flies in intelligence. You cannot ignore all the good religion has done in the world, in the past and nowadays. Ever heard of Christian-Aid? The Salvation Army? The church near me has a 'charity of the week' where they donate a percentage of their collection money to. Churches are always having stalls and festivals to raise money for charities of all different shapes and sizes. In the past Churches have always focused on helping people in times of conflict. For example in the Irish potato famine they set up soup kitchens for the starving. They aren't all bad news, and it would be wrong to say so.

Wow I didn't realise there was solid proof that he didn't exist either. Have I missed something? Perhaps then you believe in Thor, Zeus or Quetzalcoatl? Or the invisible pink elephant, flying spaghetti monster or the flying teapot? Or ghosts, pixies, faries, gremlins, trolls, witches and warlocks? I think I've made my point clear enough. Yes well a billion people believe in Christianity, I doubt a billion people believe in pink elephants though.
