Actually I think it was me that made this topic (not you) about being bullied not 1v1 fights and that was how I was bullied, and I am telling deloria that his moves don't help atall if you're surrounded by a group of 40 people.

Obviously most of the Americans here such as deloriagod have never experienced the feeling where you are walking home at 2am and you're surrounded by about 40 chavs that want you to "just lend dem some muney for sum smack" and "we won't pull your hair or ought". Ego, much? It's actually truth-much. Bullies pick on people who are smaller than them. If you pick on someone bigger and stronger and they fight...guess who looks like an idiot? I think Led_Zeppelin means that there is no point in posting that you are big and tough and cool when you're posting on a thread like this, it just makes you look like a jerk and its unnecessary.

Actually I prefer lower level mods to all the "famous" people you mentioned. Mainly because I find higher level people that you mentioned to be the most selfish and least helpful. Who would you rather be a player mod, the level 126 in the corner which his chat off fletching for a level 99, not noticing anybody. Or the level 73 just going about his business and playing the game more for fun than anything else?

I've read all the replies in this thread twice now, and I am wondering why people that are different have to be treated badly? I don't know, it just appears to be a humain trait that because people are different they are bad. ThoseTheBrokes I am sorry to hear you are bullied, I have never "snapped" so to speak but am very close recently. Sometimes I find myself shaking with anger for no reason atall. I'm not sure if punching anybody helps the situation or makes it worse though. IGoddessI, I did not imagine you as a person that is bullied for some reason. It is sad that because you are clever you were picked on despite being quite a caring person that you are. I am sad to hear about your eating disorder because that is a terrible thing caused by bullies. It is also suprising that you are not a sociable person because that is how I see you when you post. speedofsound, you are right in that you are like me. I used to hate it when people pretended to be your friend, then they would backstab you in an effort to be funny or "popular". The "high five" thing that somebody else mentioned also irritated me when people tried to pretend they werre friends with the loser of the class to geta few cheap laughs. If i knew you, now I would stick up for you and beat the slimey [cabbage] out of anybody that tried to bully you for being different to them. Rebdragon, you get the idea that youcant ask somebody to completely change. Because why should it be the people that are bullied that have to change? Isn't that a direct contradiction to the same people that are telling me to get a backbone, isn't changing your personality being weak? It's society that has to change, not people that are bullied. Like I said I read all the replies, but they are the ones I wanted to specifically reply to.

My friend said I could make alot of money mining, so I figured miner was the way to go. Dwarven mines was naturally my first stop.

Have you ever been bullied in life? If so, share with the online community what you did about it and how it has affected you? You might still be bullied at school and are worried about how to deal with it! Basically this is a discussion about your experiences of bullies, not specifically at school. I was bullied at school, and it has damaged me alot and nobody did a thing about it. Because I am naturally a quiet, polite, "good" person I was picked on between the years of about 12-16. I am 18 now, and no longer bullied but only because I changed schools. When at school though all of my friends were in different classes to me, and although I work hard I am not especially as naturally intelligent as some of my friends so was put in lower classes. People that were more, hmmmm how to say it? "street wise", "rough" etc than me. I was different, I wasn't loud, and not a trouble maker. But people just didnt like me, they used to make fun of my appearance, trip me up, steal my money, embarass me. Once some people did it everybody joined in. I remember standing next to a door to the science lab and a model of a skeleton was near me I was just looking at it and some girl next to me who I had never spoken to said "what ben, is that your one and only friend"? The guy next to her congratulated her on the quick witted remark. This kind of thing happened every day. By the time I was 15 I was a loner and nobody liked me, I wasn't really as badly bullied as I had been, because I no longer spoke out in class or communicated with my class mates, but still hated for being "different" to them. I never told anybody about it for obvious reasons. I still have no friends and I am 18 and nobody knows really who I am, just somebody to avoid. I constantly think of ways to avenge my young, naive self by possibly hunting down those that used to bully me. But I remembered what I did when I was about 14, I found the Internet and confided in it. I figured other people do the same, so share your stories. You see society grabs and strangles those that are different, perhaps some souls can still be saved. Dub me the Unforgiven, are there any others?

I'm leaving this forum now, I figured it was a good idea before I get banned heh. I'm expecting this to get flamed but I don't really care to be honest, I have over 2k posts on this forum I think I'm entitled to a legitimate "leaving thread". Things have got out of hand and certain people are intent on destroying my reputation and I think we are at a stage where flaming will erupt if I ever make a statement that somebody disagree's with. I have got to the level where a personal insult match would develop and thats easily my fault over anybody else's. You see I appear to be developing some form of persecution complex on these forums where I am enjoying the fact people talk about me like I am some kind of villain and I don't think this is a paticularly healthy mindset. I do respect alot of you however, so I might aswell make some people happy (or unhappy) that they are respected by me although I obviously never told them. I'll just write their names.
