  1. If you want to make a guide that will be appreciated and looked at by a lot of people, you're going to have to easy and readable. No one in this thread has criticized your actual methods. They are actually quite reasonable and detailed  "web language" might be fine if you're lazy while talking to someone informally or perhaps if you're fighting a boss and can't type much, but it's not meant to be used everywhere. As I just hinted at, using that sort of language may suggest that you're lazy or in a hurry and don't really want to put a great amount of effort into the guide. People will notice and appreciate if you put in some time to construct your guide. It's clear at some points of your guide that English isn't your strongest language, but a lot of that can be looked over if everything else is pristine. I've read stories and fanfictions where the author didn't know English very well, but they tried very hard to craft their sentences with care to the point where there could be a few mix-ups and grammatically funny phrases, but you would still have a good time reading it because you acknowledged the fact that they didn't speak English and that the rest of it was pretty much flawless. Sure, some of the criticism in this thread was posted in a bit of a trolly/unhelpful manner, but you should be able to take it in stride and then politely ask what they meant exactly. Attacking those offering you critique gets you no where.
  2. OpenGL is another graphics API, like DirectX.
  3. So what is it when a monster casts a spell to summon the environment against you? I really can't think of that many purely PvE situations, unless you count stuff like the Bork caverns after you defeat it and extreme cold areas.
  4. Player v Environment, but I think PvM is equally correct. PvM is just newer, created from people not knowing that PvE was the correct term, slang of the gaming slang if you will. I don't really feel like there's a "correct" term. Both describe the activity rather accurately and ultimately the function of the term is just to differentiate from PVP scenarios.
  5. Have you tried OpenGL?
  6. Player v Environment, but I think PvM is equally correct.
  7. Now that's not a minor mistake. And "web language"? seriously? lolol There are reasons why certain guides make it into the AoW and others don't. Good spelling and command of the English language is certainly a factor.

Spend all of your money on skills and items. Also consider the new friend thing.
  9. Race him. One person chins, one person play PC non-stop. Have people moderate. That's what I did for teaks vs ivy.
  10. YEHARG! Finally one thing I'm ahead of Quyneax in :P
  11. Why is experience relevant?
  12. Interview if anyone is interested: EDIT: Just watch it on YT. Embedding is messed up -.-
  13. Is this factoring the fact that you use 25% more runes because of the increased attack speed with abs?
  14. Nice collection. I have to wonder about your kit though. Why don't you use Ardy Cape 3 instead of Godcloak for +magic and prayer Verac plateskirt instead of legs for defence +prayer
  15. What sort of xp does 250k give you?
  16. I remember doing one of the pirate quests and one of the puzzles was just flat out not working (the interface was not showing any puzzle pieces). I feel like this was close to their release of DirectX acceleration option. Anyway, I found that switching to OpenGL was just simply smoother and didn't exhibit any missing parts of the screen. I also feel like certain video cards could have a hand performance issues.
  17. Didn't he say in an interview that he was quitting
  18. How long on average would you say it takes you to get to 250k factor on climber?
  19. How low are we talking about? What charms do you have right now? I would suggest dumping from xp from stuff like penguins/lamps/troll invasion/JoaT into summoning for a bit to get it to a point where you can make decent and worthwhile pouches. Getting it to 57 unlocks Spirit Kyatts, which gives you access to one of the fastest and easiest methods for pouch making as well as a few pouches that are decent xp/charm.
  20. Oh lol my bad. Still interested on how they degrade, if the only replacement is by clearing out bosses again, and what this unarmed business is about.
  21. I also just noticed the gloves were 103kg
  22. Yeah I'm getting this too really randomly. Sometimes my camera will zoom and shift to a random angle. I think clicking on the minimap helped with clearing the issue, but it hasn't happened for a while so I don't quit remember.
  23. Do they just disappear when they fully degrade, or is there some means of recharging them?
  24. Well to be fair Jagex really did put out a tremendous effort to oust the bots and it so far remains relatively successful. Jiblix's main concerns were with the lack of Jagex's response to botting.
  25. If the track is awesome as Osbourne makes it out to be, hopefully we'll have it as something we can replay :)
