  1. How many points are people averaging in SC?
  2. Due to an unsuspected, but welcomed event (Me getting membs \ :o : ), work on this guide is to be postponed. However, major parts of the P2P->F2P section I've got planned are mostly ready. In fact, actually being members let's me feel how it is and guide my methodology. I may expand this guide to an overall P2P and F2P banking guide, but I'll need to comprehensively revise some sections. But why is the guide's progress being slowed in particular? I want to take advantage of this awesome members experience as much as I can  The newness has still taken me in
  3. With the D plates price almost mimicking the current global economical situation, I'd say in about 2-3 weeks, it might stabilize at around 3 million, possibly even lower. At that point, it won't be that much more expensive to buy it versus barrows and it'll provide almost comparable bonuses. Of course, the advantage here is that it won't ever need to be repaired.
  4. My reasoning for putting it on summoning was that the skill takes relatively long to train. 1 or 2 1000XP lamps from quests could really give it a nice boost to a place where the familiars are actually useful than just grinding away with Spirit Wolves. Agility is also one of my top choices as again like already said, it CANNOT to be bought and can't even be "semi-afk'd" as someone said. As I haven't raised hunter either, I think I'll use a quest lamp or two on it to get to a point where it's slightly more useful (BTW, what's the point to hunter other than chins and light equipment? Any use for it at low levels?) I'm ruling out slayer for now since it does seem like a skill I could raise with other CB skills. I hadn't thought of RCing, but it might be an attractive option as it is a little slow. I've only got 51 right now. Herblore is quite expensive and the low level potions are quite worthless. Maybe a lamp or two here. So I'm guessing that I'll rank skills by: Summoning/Agility RC/Construction Herblore/Prayer Hunter Another question, anyone know if the diaries require level requirements to use the lamps? Some of the quest lamps need like level 30 in a skill to use the lamp on it.
  5. Being a relatively new member, I've still got a good number of quests and things to do like diaries and the Varrock museum with sizable XP awards at the end. I'd just like to get some input on which skills it would be most advantageous to use these lamps on. For the most part, I've narrowed it down to agility, smithing, herblore, thieving, slayer, farming, construction, and summoning (And MAYBE crafting or hunting). Skills like agility, summoning, slayer, and farming all take a relatively long time to get XP even with exorbitant amount of cash so I'm leaning towards these one's for the time being.
  6. That's freaking awesome. Thanks mate.
  7. That doesn't help much. I've actually been looking for a program like this myself. As a relatively new member, but with decent stats from F2P, I'm finding it hard to figure out what quests I can or cannot do. I originally wanted to set out and do the Hero's Quest and Monkey Madness, but both of them have a huge number of quest and skill prerequisites. So yeah, maybe the Tip.it crew could mix something up. Have an interface that let's us type in all of our skills. On entry, it would punch out which quests we could do. We could then select all of the one's we've done and that could unlock quests that we could do thereafter. To make it a little bit more fancy, we could search for particular quests and select them to show if we meet the requirements. If we don't, it could outline what is still left to do. Something like a cookie could be stored to remember everything, or it could be a separate program entirely separate from the website. Just a few of my thoughts...
  8. Hmm...well I've done a little research and it seems the only relatively quick ways would be to spin flax, fish monks, or collect harpoons. Are there any other relatively easy methods?
  9. Anyone know good ways to make money at my levels? (First post)
  10. Don't I have some sort of quest to do before I can access f giants?
  11. New question. I'm just about finishing Frem trials and now about to go train agility. However, I want to raise my ranged at some point. Should I: a) Make money in P2P, buy knives or something else to train with, and train in P2P or B) Make money in P2P and continue questing and trying stuff and save the money for mith or addy arrows to use in F2P?
  12. Well depends on how you do it. I'm pretty sure the loss would be pretty huge if you bought mithril bars, smithed them individually into daggers, then sold them all to a general store.
  13. Get lvl 99 prayer. That has to be worth something on F2P
  14. Sinkhan replied to yerer0's topic in Help and Advice
I have to agree with the P2P suggestions. After 6 LONG freaking years of strict F2P, P2P is a godsend
  15. Well I did shafts to 10 and longs to almost 20. I'll probably so some oak stuff until 25 when I can do Frem Trials. Tasty agility xp, here I come
  16. For the suggestions everyone. I'll make sure to take advantage of the bank while I can :
  17. I'll be taking a break in January, but I'm pretty sure I'll be a member again in February. (Unless something terribly unfortunate happens -.- ) I'll do some more quests to unlock new areas (And for the pure fun of it and the story lines. The Plague City one is quite interesting \ ), get a decent agility level (30s?), try out CW and a few other games. Any other suggestions for raising agility OTHER than the Gnome Stronghold? I need a simple guide to level 25 fetching.
  18. So much to do, only one month to do it  Any suggestions for weps, armour, pots, and stuff? How do I get this famed defender I see so much of on the forums? I also want to do any quest that gives agility XP.
  19. So I finally got membs the other day after 6 LONG years of F2P : I've started Lost City and have druidic ritual, animal magnetism, Grand tree/Tree gnome village, monkey madness, priest in peril, wolf whistle, and nature spirit lined up next. Any other suggestions for other quests? Also I'd like to know what sort of weps and equipment I should get. I'm already considering a dragon dagger for starters. I'd like some suggestions for what to do. My CB skills are all in the 70s, except for 68 mage and 58 prayer. Everything else except for crafting and RCing is in the 60s, 70s. I'm planning on raising a ton of agility first.
  20. Well I'll probably just film my music page and XP in the end. If not prove to anyone else, have a little memory saying "I was F2P for a long time"
  21. Well with the release of some more Ultimate Game Cards in Canada finally, I know have a slightly more feasible way of getting membership. However, I want to be able to say "Hey, I was F2P for 5 years playing RS on and off" I've gotten 58 prayer and 62 smithing, which isn't easy to do. (No, I don't have exorbitant amounts of money) I was considering just screenshotting my HS page from the RS site. The totals of the XP and skill levels would show that I don't have any xp in member skills. I would also SS my music tab. It would be almost impossible to go into members places without getting a new much track. Yes, this sounds a little eccentric and pointless, but hey, pointless eccentricities make the world go round : There are still a few other problems with my proofs though. Anyone else got any ideas?
  22. If I'm not mistaken, isn't superheat available at 43? It'll probably be much quick than most other methods at your level and you lose very little (Mith bars I know for sure, steel not so much)
  23. Should be the superheat. The high alch with a staff is a downward stabbing and then a little shaking (With a fire ball on top of course). Superheat has the player moving their arms back and then bring a fireball forward and up.
  24. FoG is free, allowing you to cast your best damage spells as well as getting HP xp. However, total XP is halved.
