  1. Well, if you gather the herbs yourself, and buy the secondary ingredients from stores, you'll lose next to no money, if any. I recommend not doing Marrentils cause of this, as gathering the horns takes FAR TO LONG. Personally, I recommend keeping the prayer pots, as you will ALWAYS need them later down the road, you'll see. Of course, you could always sell say, 20 or so just to make alittle bit of cash, so the entire time it takes ya to level, doesn't feel like a wasted effort.
  2. Actually, as bad as it sounds, it's not as hard once you get to work on it. I recommend killing chaos druids and keeping all of the following, yes, all, you'll need it... Guams, Tarromins(Specially if you've done Shades of Morton, as you can just use these with ashes and get the same exp as making a str pot.) Harrlanders, these are going to be your bread and butter for leveling up. And the rest, you know what to do with them. Sell the prayer pots you make, or keep them, that's up to you. But you can sell 1 prayer pot, 7k, turn around buy 7 harrlanders, and make 7 energy pots, those being just a tad lower exp than the 1 prayer pot each, adding up to more exp. :edit: Another note on tarromin, busy worlds with alot of people killing chaos druids under Edgeville... you can just walk around and pick them up, few "professional" herbers keep them.
  3. Blue Dragons are great, if you got alot of time, but prefer to make money. (Though now, dragon bones are poop compared to a few months ago.....) I'd greatly recommend you spend a few days making iron knives (Or buy them if you can't be bothered.... but 40ea to me is a bit much for how much you'll need.) And camp at fire giants. Once you have it so they're not aggression, you can log in and out all you want, and they will stay non-aggressive. Though, any form of leaving the place, such as a random event will cause them to give you a good "Welcome Back Beating" when you come back, so watch for that.
  4. You're just unlucky, and you have low-ish agility. It's enough, but all the extra you can get help. For this part, I recommend you start your day looking for a four leaf clover, turn all the horse shoes you have right side up. Go to each Asian restaurant in your town and rub all the Budha statue's bellies you can find, wear enough rabbit foots on your neck to cause the entire Peta organization's head to explode, and pray to God/Mohamad/Guthix, or any other deity you prefer, and then head on in.
  5. Everyone gets this from time to time, it just takes time to get used to the fact you MIGHT die and lose alot of hard work... My advice, don't PK with good stuff at first, go ahead and he called newb, 1 item, etc, etc, and don't risk much. Get used to take damage, timing your eating/prayer drinking. (As for prayer drinking, ween yourself off protection spells, and if you wanna do serious PKing you won't if you use these as so will your enemy... or they will tele away as it's a waste of time. Also, try and PK with a friend, having that little bit of help at your side always calms your nerves. NEVER start out Pking at say, world 18, edgeville. These are people who have been doing it awhile, you WILL be drilled. I wouldn't recommend my way of getting over the "virgin PK nervousness" as I attacked and killed helpless green dragon killers :-w
  6. Actually a recent update has increased the speed at which a dragon axe cuts.... hence the price increase up to around 3mil for them. I'd only recommend the payment if you are very serious about wood cutting. I.E. If you have a habit of clicking a tree and NOT watching runescape, then don't get it, cause you'll cry when the head flies off, and you don't pick it up before some level 10 newb wanders by. "Homg thx u mister"
  7. I say Barrows. Course I'm bias, this can either go great for some, or bad for othres. I hit my first Guthan's Spear, so that pays for my prayer pots/food for awhile now, and whatever I get now is pure income. Also, you can sell the bolt racks/bloods/chaos/deaths and any other goodies you get.
  8. Ok, now bare in mind me actually asking such a question makes me feel stupid but.... Why are super stat restores just THAT good, that I see them used in place of prayer pots, as in, do they restore prayer better than prayer pots, or is it just because of the fact it restores so much?
  9. It "was" 78, but now... it's garbage, only way to really do PC and do it well is with a clan.
  10. Honestly, I found the whip to be more enjoyable. Had 65 def 65 att at one time, got whip, then went all the way with it for def. I vote attack, since you'll want it later anyway.... and get whip. Plus, but the time you get the attack, the whips will be about 300k cheaper than they are now. :P
  11. Use the magic seccy-thingies. Your level has no effect on the amount you will recieve. I'm constantly planting ranarrs (Sec's and Super compost always...) 4 seeds planted, usually yields roughly 25-27 rannars.
  12. Personally I think the HP levels might be a good thing... "Haha, my level 44 can cast flames of zammy! OMGHAX YOU KILLED ME TWO HITS ANYWAY!"
  13. Power fish in shilo village. You can 1 click walk from the river to the bank... that's hella-quick. Also, bank all the trouts/salmon, then go to Rogue's Den and power cook them. :D
  14. I've had a good time killing dragons, but now I'd recommend doing greens... For some reason noobs these days are only paying 1.7k for a blue hide o.o that's ridiculous..... Greens are easier to get (dodging pkers aside.....) imo, just kill, tele, bank, repeat.
  15. Fletching yew longs... 1k Yew logs = 230k 1k bs = 150-180k 1k Yew longs(s) = 550k That's 170-140 gold a bow. Now, if done right. (There's a guide for this somewhere....) You can do 3k bow an hour. That's 420-450k an hour... :edit: Completely disregard my lack of mathematical skills in this, being as you need to actually cut the logs into bows.... *images stringing logs....* That said, there's still good money in this.
  16. Depends really, do you wanna be extra-super sight on levels and pk above edge... or go deep wildy. Deep wildy the 2 levels ain't gonna mean squat, and the black armor might save ya imo.
  17. Slayer staff autocasts crumble undead. Personally, I find using chaos gaunlets and maging blue dragons, then reselling hides and bones to pay for runes works great.
  18. Buy and fletch bs and yew logs. Alc. Minor profit. Buy chaos runes, use chaos gauntlets, mage blue dragons, selling hides and bones to rebuy runes. Medium profit. Mage Training Arena, no profit, but goal for something like "Bones to Peaches" which is great.
  19. Pony Giggles Well, that's my pure's name. :P
  20. There's no need to be rude, it's not exactly common knowledge, few actually memorize the str bonus of everything, let alone a CW flag. Also, the only way we COULD find out, would be to do the same thing you'd have to.... get on in a game, so unless someone happens to have the information somewhere, it might take awhile to get an answer.
  21. 1. World hop till you get the ardounge mine to yourself 2. World hop till you get the al karid mine to yourself. 3. World hop till you get the yanille mine to yourself (Works good for banking.)
  22. Go here: Magical Thread of Helpyness You seemed to have missed it, it's the first big sticky at the top of the page. :
  23. This fellows idea sounds great =) Why thank you, I started doing this when I was in the same situation as the other guy.... I wanted darn Mith and there's just no good place it seems to mine it. I've done about 2k Mith ores this way over time, and only had 1 person try to pk me.
