If you're power mining iron, I find North East ardoune to be the best, one runner always seems to come by at just the right moment to relieve you.

Quick newbish question. If I die with a prayer book, does it lose it's pages? Also, just talk to Jisson or whoever it was to get it back, right?

It depends on you really. I think it's a complete waste of time to level without atleast making a few coins off it. I recommend mining iron north of Yanille, the three rocks refill just fast enough to work fine in busy worlds and you can run and bank the ores faster than you could drop them anyway.

Quiet you fool! Don't ruin it for us who rely on those mines for income! Seriously though, I guess a few knowing wont hurt. Seriously, it's great money or exp, depending on what you do. Personally I mine about 3k gold ore, or so, or until I've burned out. Sell it on the forums, honestly 600 each.

Honestly... just mine iron north of yanille. You'll level fast, it mines quick and you'll still make a decent buck off the ores.

Azarian Mines by far are the best. No runes needed, just mine 27, take off helm, boat them. If you do, make sure you have the Ring of Charos (u) so he only takes 3 ores for himself each time.

Rune picks mine (and correct me if I'm wrong) 10% faster than addy picks in general.

I think so, heck, I'm 64 and fine i do yews at a decent pace...so you should be more than ok.

it just seems in the amount of time it takes to do all that...you could have mined more coal than you'd be saving doing this... and of smelted the bars.

Spend more time leveling a skill that can get you money than asking people how to make the money.

F2P people can still wear the trimmed armor from people who got them through treasure trails. It's just gonna be harder to track it down.

World 2 is empty, same as the "official" blast furnace world. The furnace just doesn't catch on to enough people to be effective it seems.

If you mean to mine, do this. Set an egg time to 5 minutes. Start mining. When the egg time dings, see how much ess you've mined in that 5 minutes. Take the amount, multiply that times 12, and that's how much ess you do an hour.

Something that dropped something to make the training less stale.... My vote is mossies, good health, not to high level, and good drops. As for cheap....iron knives, all the way, they hit so rapid.

My way not "fast" but it's good income on the side. If you've done "Creature something" quest, got the ring of charos and unlocked it, I found the fur stall in ardoune to be a decently paced, but very cash rewarding way to level my low level thieving. Varrock dude buys them 150 each with the ring, and I realized this after banking around 4k gray wolf furs (keep in mind alot of people also dropped theirs and I picked those up since the bank is two steps away.)

The absolute "best" way to make money is doing something you enjoy. Even if you crunch all the numbers down to see what's the "best" you will soon lose interest if the task just is something you don't like doing. Runescape is a game, and I find it sad for those who wanna break it down into numbers, percents, and statistics. I mine gold, it's slow. I make roughly 250k an hour doing it, but ya know what? I like it. It's repetetive, but I like to do it, so it's far more fullfilling to me, even though I "could" do Nats, I don't simply because mining is more fullfilling.

That's about it right there. I don't think one can put it any more simple. It's effective and relatively quick.

Also, don't be clicking gray rocks, when it turns, you'll only delay yourself that few precies microseconds it takes to sneak the ore out from under someone.

Amen, I recommend the fire method. No profit since they're a pain to sell, but rub-al karid, craft fires, rub- castle wars, bank. Lather, rinse, repeat.

North of Yanille all the way. You can EASILY, do 1500+ ores an hour.

I love them, I really do. I can't see camelot teleing for exp, and not a fan of alcing. I think they're great...cmon..1 less damage compared to the MUCH more expensive death rune using version... That aside, barrows..I find mage the whole way, though I do prefer meleeing the archer personally. And yes, lord knows bring a healthy amount of prayerpots. Wear a ring of life, not a weath.

If you cant use Slayer Dart, Fire blast is a complete waste of unnecessary money. Because it only deals 1 more damage over Fire Bolt with Chaos Gauntlets, and it doesnt kill all that much faster either, so stick to Fire Bolts if you cant use Slayer Dart. If you are not using full Verac's, you can forget about Meleeing ANYTHING except getting your Kill Count up. Mage is the most effective way to kill the barrow brothers, INCLUDING the ranger, because his magic def is still useless with all his gear. He might be a LITTLE harder to hit, but you will still own him. I'll say amen to this. And specially the part about chaos gloves...they're so unappreciated....
