  1. There's never really a "great" item to merchant, as soon as it becomes popular, and more people merchant an item, then everyone gets this "I r teh mast3r m3kantor" attitude and no one sells or buys for what the other wants. I used to do black cavvies, 900k in game, 1.1mil on forums, and could fo a good 2-6 of them an hour. Now, good luck buying for 1.1mil and selling for 1.101mil on forums. Experiment around, try alil this, alil that. As for coal, buy f2p in medium amounts 150 each (500 works good) Buy a few K worth of coal, sell forums 200 each, only do large amounts, anything 1k or lower people will only keep at 180. 3k and higher you can pull 200 each pretty consistantly.
  2. As much as I praise iron knives, I've tried both on dragons and I can honestly say you'll need to use the arrows. Knives hit fast, but even with high range the lack of range bonus as compared to a bow with steel arrows.... It'll look like this. Knives: 7..6..0..0..0..3..0..5..0..0 Bows: 11....8....9....3....0....12.... That's a very rough estimate but you get the picture.
  3. If you can use the bank in Burgh de Rot, then buying it in Morton works best.
  4. Made 9 mil selling unnoted limestone blocks outside construction portals when it came out. 5k each, and the hungry rich people poured their wealth to me.
  5. My method's a bit slower, but you'll make alil more money at the same time. Keep in mind, if you do NOT want to level hp also, then this is not a good method. Buy a *huge* load of airs and chaoses. Go mage dragon in Hero's guild basement. Sell hides and bones (Hides 2k, Bones 2.5k) Rebuy chaos and airs. Lather, rinse, repeat till desired magical fluffiness.
  6. Bad taste that man (not to mention spelling) :) However yes whips are dropping and they will not rise again so the longer you wait the less they cost. I could pick one up for 2.1 I reckon, 2.2 certainly. Think you meant "Bad taste "there" man". Ah grammar is magical. 2.1 is alil pushing it right now, but, like I said, wait like 1 week. It'll likely hold at 2mil even for alil while, sellers are going to be picky about dropping them below the 2mil mark. I see whips leveling off around 1.2-1.5mil though, as they're shear level of goooooodness will maintain some value no matter the amount on the market. *Fingers cross*
  7. Dropping faster than investments in Steve Irwin's next movie.
  8. Right now, 2.2-2.3 is pretty solid. Wait ten minutes though, at the rate they're going, I may need to edit this post....
  9. No, the cat idea is not a good idea.... They want fully grown cats for catching mice, you actually have to raise it some first.
  10. Wow, 3k bows in one hour? Sorry, I've only done like 100-200 yews at a time. Unless someone can offer a better reason, I'm gonna have to go with John here.
  11. Ok, pretty simple. I am currentl 81 mage, and I've done very lil high alcing, always chaos gauntlet trained it. I've decided to pass up HP exp and get th 85 mage by alcing and for those you do it, I would like to know which of these two options be quicker. 1. Buy Logs, String, Nats, make very very lil profit. 2.Buy Yew Longs (S), pure ess and craft own nats. More profit. Now, I don't care about any profit right now, I simple don't wish to be losing money. Which of these two methods would be quicker?
  12. As someone who does alot of mining, I will say this. In theory, this works, but the fact is, the average person's brain will self implode before you can mine enough coal for 85 mining.
  13. As far as coal goes... I vote go to mining gold with all the ores you can carry, plus 1 spot for natures 1 spot for pick and carry a fire staff. Mine 8 coal, super heat, lather rinse repeat. In long run faster than the other two ways, and trains magic.
  14. Buy gold bars 250 each Buy saphs 400 each Sell recoils 1k each.
  15. For training - Zammy book, hands down.
  16. I recommend if you wanna become members, do it asap simply because you will level your skills ooooo much faster in p2p. Level mining? Loads of mining spots with no competion. Trees don't have 20 people to each one, etc, etc.
  17. Any kind of game that requires alot of time to raise skills, and progress through will at some time or another become like a chore. Runescape is something that you should just do in small amounts. Treat yourself sometime, I've just recently been shown castle wars and it's nice to not bust your balls to level skills all day.
  18. I don't think you got to much to worry about. Worse comes to worse, ask a "Hypothetical question" to Jagex themselves.
  19. Well, the reasoning behind this is, when someone gets an item for nothing in Runescape, Jagex can assume they may be getting paid by other worldly means, namely cash.
  20. I'm not sure about the 'share items all you want' I think you can trade yes, but the "lending" of items usually gets called into question.
  21. As for IPs, no, you can have multiple loggins from the same IP, even at the same time. I know, cause I'm on a router and me and my brother play together all the time. The only issue is account sharing, don't give another account ANYTHING.
  22. Ok, I found this to be alil over-reacted to, but there's like 200,000,000 spiders, some monsters, some those lil lvl 1 thingies. Basically it's a big mass of legs and if you're an arachnaephobic, you might freak out.
  23. I believe the cannon is effected by range level, but not range bonuses from items, but I wont swear to this. Never done it, but for profit, I believe the mass concesus is Dagganoths.
  24. As someone who sells alot of hides for money, you're going to have a tough time buying green hides under 1.5k each and blude hides under 2k each.
  25. Alcing? No, unless you get the hides yourself.
