  1. Fm costs about 3-4 mil, probably closer to 3 mil, as willows are very cheap right now. Fletching won't cost you a thing, you'll make a little bit of money once you can make yew longs.
  2. My parents are really strict, and they won't let me get members anymore (I had membership for 2 months...they decided it was a waste of money). Are there any ways to get membership without them knowing? Paybyphone won't work for me, as they'll figure it out from the extra money charged onto the phone bill. Btw...I can't drive yet, not quite old enough.
  3. Get fletching up...it's pretty close, and once you get it to 99, your fishing cape will become trimmed! \
  4. I think this is why: 19. Can I use my gift card for reoccurring billing? No. If you are interested in this as an option please visit http://www.miocard.com. Runescape bills your card every month...
  5. Nice article, as always. However, I think what Jagex is trying to say is that only the price that you can sell things for is limited to the 5% margin, and that the correction for the price happens instantly. In the KB article, all it says is, "The market value of an item is automatically recalculated roughly once per day." There is no information saying that it can only change by a small amount-perhaps the price can change from 500 to 2000 gp in a single day for an item? Anyways, good job on writing this article so quickly! :D
  6. Wouldn't the autoers just move onto something else then? Also, fishing seems to also be a heavily macroed spot in f2p, just that most people don't notice as they don't pass by karamja all the time. If they remove woodcutting, then there is a chance fishing would die along with it.
  7. Rares took a big hit once the update was introduced, however now it seems that the prices are slowly recovering.
  8. You need to repair it to full...when it's at 100, it's not actually full. It's full only when there's no number beside it. Even if you barely used it, you'll still have to repair it.
  9. Hmm...I'm going to hold onto my rares because I think there is a chance that they will go up in price instead of down (everybody will start putting them up for more than they are worth, and people start thinking that is the real price). I might be wrong...we'll just have to wait and see.
  10. I agree. It would make the majority of noobs quit Runescape. No more annoying noobs! :D
  11. Even though at first glance, the Grand Exchange may seem to ruin merchanting, I think it'll actually help merchanting a lot. You can stay at the Grand Exchange and wait until somebody prices something at a low price, snag it, and resell it later. Also, when you are reselling the item, instead of spamming the same line over and over again to sell things in w2 or w1 (depending on if you are a member), you can just price your item and go do something else. After this update, I think there will actually be more merchants than before-merchanting will be so much easier. That's what I think at least, I wonder how it's actually going to turn out? :?
  12. Definitely keep it on. I wouldn't mind having a skill cape in f2p, it's something to show off with, and it looks really nice! Plus the bonus from f2p capes is very trivial, it barely makes a difference.
  13. Wonder how it's going to affect rares...I myself have 80-90% of my cash invested into rares
  14. Only thing I'm worried about with this update is if it's going to be p2p only...I really hope f2p also gets a chance to participate in this! :D
  15. Candy cane (2h sword), with the ability to whack people like the rubber chicken. When whacked there would be stars around the person's head. That'd be so cool
  16. Just because you pay 5 dollars a month, doesn't mean your say counts for more. If you could "buy" votes, the government would be totally corrupt. F2p and members both got equal say, because it affected them both. Majority wins, and that's a completely fair rule (whether the majority is f2p or p2p). We all play the same game, and p2p shouldn't decide what f2p gets. Stop whining over how you people didn't get the broom. The hood wasn't that bad, it was actually better than I expected it to be. :D
  17. I have always played on 1 account, never really got into pures.
  18. Cowhides are a wonderful option, however I chose to stick with god armors (when I had your amount of money). I bought pieces of the various god armors, and sold the set for 100-150k profit. From 1-10 mil, I merchanted god armors. 10-20 mil I merchanted easters, pumpkins, and disks. From 20ish mil to whatever santas are worth right now, I merchanted green masks. Just my way of doing things, since merchanting rares is about 150k +/- 50k per hour. Each sale can make around 200-300k, however it may take a while. :? P.S. I found it useful to not only buy rares in world 1, but look at RSOF and pm the members selling/buying rares (make sure you tell them you're f2p).
  19. I play Runescape because I love the feeling when I accomplish something, such as a goal that I have been working on for a long time. :)
  20. We don't know exactly what the haunted house is going to be like, or what the hood would look like. The details of the event is what determines if it is either a great holiday event, or a disappointment. I am not disappointed about the event itself, it seems like a great concept, however Jagex always make things sound better than they actually are.
  21. Good rewards is what gets me hooked to a mini-game. One in particular actually: Barrows! :D I've made like 12 mil overall off of it.
  22. I always liked santa the best, not because it's worth alot, but it looks really nice to me.
  23. I actually don't want to spend all that time to get a 99 skill, because even though the cape may seem amazing at first, it'll probably get boring sometime. That's what I think at least...
  24. Personally I'd much rather have the broom over the hood, even though it would probably have been just an emote (not actual flying around). Like previous posters have said, we've had too much headgear for holiday rewards. A new weapon would be quite welcome in my opinion.
  25. Melee hands down (I think that's what it's called :? ). Range is too slow to train without spending alot of money, and magic is just too costly. Melee hits for high damage, and there is no ammunition cost-only food and weapon.
