Gudi, your refusal to accept other peoples points of view is shocking. It is very much an each to their own thing, i have experimented with both and find i prefer larger hits, but a bigger suseptibility (sp?) to damage.

Allow me to hybrid ANYONE my level and i have a huge advantage due to my damage range/adaptability. Pures useless? Yes. Hybrids uselss? No.

It is mildy Pced to counteract the loss of strength and range to 41 attack and 2 defence. 90% trained at rock crabs/firegiants.

yeah, pking with mage/range was kind of impossible not to get 2 def after a while. I pk on f2p a lot so i mainly use members to train (I'll post a bank pic) and i already had a char with 60 attack 3 defence and 81 str so i kinda know what to expect with that route. I generally prefer pking f2p, because getting a solo kill requires a hell of a lot more skill than p2p "Oh woot i specced 26/31" pot luck style pking.

I worked that out afterwards, btw the lumby tele spot was world 18 so kinda few people there. :o I don't mind the loss, i just don't want other people to fall into the same trap, because it seemed like a good idea due to the fact people can't enter your recipe for disaster room.

Well, what happened is.. was at cave crawlers on my little pure and i ran out of food, so what i did, is teled lumby. From there i thought i wouldn't make chest in time (I was cave crawler poisoned, hits 8) so i went into the Recipe for disaster room and died straight away (I assumed you could drop stuff and it would stay like normal) Imagine my surprise to come back and see all the stuff gone. It wasn't a vast amount (Obby cape 10k cash etc) but it's just the fact that i expected to see my stuff there in a nice little pile waiting for me. #-o Is this due to me being an idiot and assuming too much, or just cunning gone wrong? Share stories please

just an idea, by the looks of it you can bring runes for superheat to the rune spot because of all the coal, saving a bit of time.
