I would suggest that you do a spyware scan right now. If your email html is enabled then they might of put a keylogger on it as a backup just in case the scam failed. I suggest that people keep html turned off on their email and dont open anything from somewhere you don't know about. on another note...I really wish scammers would get a life, if they took the time they put into trying to scam people out of their hard earned items, and instead put it to training...I dare say they would give zezima a run for his money :lol:

problem is that a person could get a friend to wait with them, after they verify take their essence and walk off or log off/tele...and once you have verified them it is too late as their may well be too many people for you to watch that closely. Another thing to look out for is friends shouting each others names as they run through the checkpoint. If you look only at what they said instead of their name it could be a problem. Otherwise it sounds like an interesting idea.

I was wearing my ears and rubber chicken this last easter (when they had that easter ring thing). All these people kept asking where I got em and how much I was selling them for.

oh it works...I got about 78-80 points today just off and on for a little bit. Some people got in 400s for their points

ok I went to my first pc extravaganza through this thing today and it is outrageously fast. I got 28 points in 30 minutes! I am lvl 92 and I will verify, it was going slow and I had ultimate strength and incredible reflexes both turned on and there was only about 10-20 seconds between the time I got 50 damage and the game was over. The games go so fast that I just kept both those prayers turned on and pc kept refreshing them like it does whenever each game ends...my prayer never completely drained and I only have 52 prayer.

I use prayer to make barrows easier. Dharok is the worst in the tunnels, as for the barrows themselves torag or guthan take the longest to kill

spam/10 Personally I think it's just a bluff, or hinting to an old quest, like the underground pass. I'm going to agree with the Bloodveld here (on both cases :wink: ). The Underground Pass is probably what the little Gnome was talking about and I don't think that Iban will be returning unless he is resurrected by Zammorack or Zaros. We are obviously going to be diving further into the powers of the Gods as we've been hinted about the God Wars and more and more Mahjarrat story line as we progress further into the desert. zamorak is written with 1 m and no c but iban is the son of zamorak so zaros would never resurect him because zamorak saradomin and guhtix teamed up agianst him to get the power over the world zaros is an ancietn god of the times that zamorak saradomin and guhtix were mortals guthix was never a mortal...he created geilinor. Zamorak was before he took out zaros, as for saradomin, I see no mention of him ever being a mortal

nothing is "unfair" in rs. I get really tired of people complaining about ancients and prayers. If you are casting an ice spell you earned the right to cast that ice spell by leveling your magic up that high, doing the quest, and paying thousands of gp to do so. Same goes for protection prayers if you can protect from melee than you earned those prayer levels and nobody can whine about you using it. Sure people use these kinds of things against me but instead of whining I just turn around and use smite, or red dhide and ranged...in other words, I prefer to go down fighting than to go down complaining that they only took me out with an "overpowered" ability (despite the fact that they worked hard to earn that ability).

you get bolt racks from barrows...I also think an-haku (sp?) sells them (that oriental guy in phasmatys). If you need some I got a fair amount sitting in my bank from all my barrows trips. Just add sir nomad and send me a message.

has anybody noticed that they censored "gah". I was doing new quest and realized I had forgotten some items I needed for fighting (primarily a weapon). So I said "gah gotta go back to cammy" and it came out "*** gotta go back to cammy".

very interesting to think about. Although I can assure everyone that giving a gift (even a valuable rare) will not cause jagex to ban your account. They are capable of keeping a thorough enough record of what you do on a regular basis to see wether or not you are actually "muling". Also due to the average mule being a low level it is unlikely that your account would be shut down for gift giving if you are a decently active player with some scattered levels and quests under your belt.

yea that is a good place for the level 80s to 100s to stand because they can survive the combined fury of all those monsters... Best place if you can't take the heat of course is to run to the backside of the portal.

only one flaw with this...runescape is no longer coded in java but a language that andrew (and as an extension jagex as a whole) created known as runescript. Towards the end of rs1 jagex was starting to push the limits of what the java language can and cannot do so they as you may recall, created an entire new game based on an entirely new design (not counting the fact that it did retain the original details of rs1). I do have to agree with you on some aspects though such as the fact that all computer based random functions are actually psuedo-random. Although I think jagex is bright enough to notice something like this that could be such a massive exploit...most likely it will generate a number at random not the same first number over and over. If this was true than it would be highly likely that the dragon chain would be no more expensive than the dragon legs, from all the people logging in to kill the kalaphite queen and the dustdevils before anybody else.

I love it. I myself am not a pker and so I enter the wild trying to get goals done, not to pk people...the wilderness looks much cooler now, and the teleporters help with getting to high level wild fast, saving walking time.
