  1. Glad you are banned. GreatSylverWyrm made my sig with my dino pic (great sig), and you ripped it. I don't think ripping a Mod's work is the right idea, or anyone's work as a matter of fact.
  2. Also, rate my current sig (drawn by me in RL) lol.
  3. Good luck, I sold RL pics as sigs like mine, so it's possible if you try hard. :)
  4. To guy who sets people's houses on fire for the coolness factor in the name of art: If you haven't noticed, the tipit Media board isn't DeviantArt (no offense to tipit, great board). If you want to check expression, go to DA and leave tipit alone. 90% of the stuff posted here is just RS related, and usually isn't to express anything but an image that people buy with game cash. I can understand that people would get mad if they saw pixel art in the Metropolitan Museum or the Louvre, but this is just a game board with forum sigs drawn by RS players. About the 2 year old comment: If using MSpaint is childish because it's a simple drawing program, I guess since both Picasso and little kids both use RL paint, both of their art is made by 2 year old minds?
  5. Well if you ever want to give a reason why not to make pixel sigs or any sigmaking at all tell them that you don't have a real legitimate RS job and just sit around on the street drawing pics of people for spare cash. What's cooler? Sitting in the cold streets of Varrock trying to get someone to pay you to make a pic of them, or living the honorable life of making a living on an official RS skill such as mining or herblaw?
  6. Real nice, looks cool for a first attempt. :) A few suggestions to give it a 10/10: -Add a border, even just a black line around the avatar works the trick. -Perhaps move the text just half a spacebar to the left since the last letter seems to be conflicting with one of the stars in the background and the edge of the avatar. I'm a noob at fonts and text but perhaps add a color or black outline on it? -Use it. :)
  7. Well if you want to change something, you have to start a new one yourself and not wait for other people to do it. It's not like people haven't tried adding variety to the Media board. I remember one time this person posted an RL pic of M&Ms in letters and that person was going to make sigs for people out of M&Ms (they tried at least). Before I started pixel sig making, I used to have a small pencil drawing sig shop. I had seen all these abstract and some pixel sigs and decided I wanted to add some variety to the board by doing pencil drawings (haven't seen other people use it for tipit sigmaking). It worked out pretty well, I sold 3-4 good sigs in that, but it took too much time. I tried pixel because it's the way of making PC art that involves the less work or hardware/software.

Yo I would enter but I got some bids I need to take care of with the little time I got. Good luck with the new sig, you gonna use a rotator or scrap my sig (I like that dragon one lol)? Good luck to all. :)
  9. Ok I guess I'll jump into this too. I'm not really going to talk alot and I'll just summarize what I think. There is freedom of speech here and everyone has a right to post whatever they want. Not many people may like what some people post, and those people who post might want to use their kindness to not spam the forum with some attemps they know people won't like. I always check what I make before I post it because I don't want to waste people's time into watching something that isn't worth posting. As long as you really try and post in order to get input on how to improve, that's always cool. Sometimes I think some starters post a lot to get some attention rather than to get input about their work, which wouldn't be the right reason to post sigs. Some people have improved skills from this pixeling posting, and no one starts with these skills so eventually sooner or later you will be forced to show some bad work at the beginning as long as you learn from your mistakes and make your skills better.
  10. Update: added the unsampled sig since blackring paid for it. :) Hopefully it will look better now. :)
  11. Just wondering, is that legal to own a fake mod ID lol? Good luck finding the sigs though.
  12. All I can say is try really hard if you really want to be good, or do something else lol. I also happen to have a stone age windows 98 that doesn't a png save format in its MSpaint. I have to use my bro's Photoshop everytime I want to save a sig lol.
  13. Here's the one I made for Blackring in his contest: EDIT: Since blackring already paid for it then I'll just post the unsampled sig. :)
  14. Thanks lol. I have been checking out RV lately and it's amazing at how many people are doing pixel sigs there now, 3x the pixel sigs thread than tipit I think. I wonder how other forums are doing. I would expand to other forums but I have requests to finish before I open a shop again or take new requests. :)
  15. Here is my entry for the contest: I tested out a bunch of stuff I never did before, hopefully it improves from my old sigs. To all my customers: this sig is a test to see wether what I had in mind is good or bad. If it turns out to be good, then I'll be using the sameshading for your sigs and therefore; better sigs for you. :) If it turns out to be bad, at least I tried and I will know not to do it anymore lol.
  16. Well Blackring said he was going to sell Cavalier and he added some more stuff to pay which make it worth it for me to make a sig. I'm halfway finished and am experimenting some new techniques in stuff I never did before. Hopefully I'll use it on all my future sigs if people like it. :)
  17. 450k-500k  Interesting, since this sig shouldn't be too hard to make I think I will enter this contest. Last time I entered any contest was Lazyboy's sig which really helped me get started lol.
  18. Depending on how much the blue mask is worth, I may enter this contest. :)
  19. To improve, you have to want to win when you practice. Try your hardest and don't think wether you will win or not, but think that you will never have to doubt yourself of wether you would have won if you had tried harder. Good luck to sigmakers, sometimes the price itself depends on supply and demand. :)
  20. Because you didn't add a border. Borders are your friends! On topic - I like the landscape of the second sig. :)
  21. TearGod is not a ripper, he did request that sig as it is and he did pay for it fair and square as he had offered to pay. I had another font on and that may be what confuses people, but Tear decided to use his own font which is fine and looks great. :) You can trust him, he's legitimate. :) Buying a new pixel sig? One isn't enough lol? Good luck. :)
  22. The one is real killer but the bottom one would be better if you added cast shadows (shadows created by objects and characters on the ground).
  23. I think you should listen to what people have said and reply to their questions before ignoring them completely. Are you going to show us the phat? If yes then I guess a colab would be an interesting idea.
  24. And the guy leaves his fingerprints on the gun: Next.
  25. Just use paint, a bigger challenge means a bigger achievement. :)
