Not bad for a first try, you have a good grasp of pixel shading, which is good. Here's the first thing you can tackle: add a border. :) They improve any sig by 20%. The font color is too bright, use a softer font color that contrasts against the black background without flashing your eyes out. Clean the black dots around the outlines so they can't be seen. I don't clean my outlines that much because then I lose the thickness factor in some lines that make the sig more interesting, but that's up to the sigmaker. Don't do random shading, where you shade from one side to another without knowing the 3D shape of the object or the light source. Rocks are usually zigzaged shaded and don't have a dark and light side, they have dark and light limits in between. Shade the pick axe handle so one lenght side of it is bright, and goes around to becoming dark on the other length side. Maybe a simple background would make the sig cooler, or a nice color pattern. So far so good. :)

Well there's a risk we make something he doesn't like or even hates, then that time was wasted when it could have been prevented. I was looking through my orders and realized I only have two more fridays before november 9 so I'm wondering if I'll even have time to make more sigs after that. I guess I won't be entering this contest and will try to finish as many sigs as possible.

Probably around that lol. Funny thing is I still don't know why this "hut" is so important, I don't even know what it looks like so I just make it up in every sig until someone send me a screenshot. Grey place with a hut. :lol: And wether it speaks the truth or not, it's not really up to me. Perhaps if you chose one of those skills, the sig wouldn't be so random. RS is very broad, perhaps some more info could help out more. :)

You may remember the kalphite sig I made a few fridays ago. Well, one of the people in that sig happens to be in this sig, dead: Bigaboys was another victim of a wilderness sig. I didn't realize until I read the names to be added. I think it's the second time I kill Supa. I sure am glad to have killed Bibbleboy on this one, he ripped some of my sigs in the past. I'm neutral about these sigs, I do not like one clan more than the other. A request is a request. EDIT: Viper's sig won't be used on tipit, I'm just posting it to show to anyone who'd like to see what I did last friday. Here's Dragon's old sig edited to be in a wintery environment: It's not really new, but I added a few requested things. Rate and comments on any of them, thanks. :)

I liked your comments about me on the last thread, good thing you typed almost as good as an 11 year old to show what real maturity is. Wow great job there man. :) That's some great landscape and texturing of the environment. Using few colors for a great effect, that's hard to achieve. Characters look great, perhaps use a mid gradient color between the dark rune and the light rune to make it perfect. Real killer. :)

Nice sigs Banana, you should have no problem selling. :) I saw the second sig in Runevillage, and I don't think it was you who posted it. You might want to check RV out because I think someone ripped that second sig of yours. I didn't know it was yours until I saw it here. :)

The first time I edit an RL pic, I wanted to try some crazy stuff. No offense to the cat, but I always wanted to do those movie special effects on an RL, and this gave me the opportunity. I used MSpaint for this one, so I can't think of anything else that could grab people's attention.

No im doing this on GraphicsGale I have never used any other program than MSPaint, but I am fairly certain that if you practice your line art in MSpaint, you will improve your outlines; therefore, improving your overal pictures.
