  1. Actually he was talking about during RS2 Beta. Back then their was a dupe bug, he duped 20 Party Hat Sets from it and they were deleted after the Beta was finished. Hey I believe your wrong. Jagex didn't delete the items after Beta was finished. They did it before Beta was finished. I remember, less than a week after the bug was fixed within like a day- Jagex transfered RS(RSC) items to RS2(RS) just to let all the players use ther items from the main game to play on Beta. -Then Beta was over in a few weeks. Correct me if I'm wrong though... Jagex reset the items in Beta a few times for special testing. They deleted ALL items at the end of RS2 Beta and made everyone start rs2 with their real RSC bank items.
  2. Hehe, well I originally tried 5 fingers but they were too much to work with in a small scale, so stuck with 4 for better detail rather than just tiny sticks which can't be manipulated to do different hand positions. Maybe that's the reason other cartoonists also use 4 fingers, keeping it simple to the max. Anyway, yes that is my site and no rippings are going on here. I'll lock this since there's not much other discussion that could come out of my specific tendency in pixelart but would have left open if it was more of a discussion on tendencies in general art rather than one forum user's. :P
  3. I'm scared to find out what message you hid there.. or just lazy to type it all out into a translator. :P
  4. That is a reply from ONE Jagex staff member. Who knows if all the others say they allow it and that was the one reply against it. Jagex has been known to contradict itself between their own staff many times. As said many times, until Jagex as a whole team clearly states what their position on this issue is (posting in main site, adding to rules, anything), they will currently have no position on this issue, nor on many other issues concerning other things they have also not been clear on. On another note, who is to say those customer replies aren't fake? If Jagex really wants to do something about this, they can use their means to contact the fansites directly which concern them.
  5. A banner is used by a website/forum and not by anyone specific, a signature is to be used by a single user or a few users who share the same sig. Big difference. Hobgoblin11, from your reply it seems you got the answers you needed so I'll lock this now.
  6. The island one is very nice. I like how you did the water/sand coloring, realistic and pixelish at same time. Would be nice to see more of your landscape stuff.
  7. Looking awsome with the great shading and all.
  8. http://www.uzzisoft.com/ Don't thank me, thank the search button.
  9. Number1: I know banners are not allowed to be bought or sold here. Why is that, and where is the best place to go to buy one. Jagex only said sigs and avatars were allowed to be sold. They never mentioned anything else, like wallpapers, websites, banners, and so on, as allowed sales, so they're considered against the rules. Discussing where to do an illegal transaction wouldn't be allowed either. Number 2: Are clan/team avatars allowed to be sold? If they are just avatars, doesn't matter what the content (not inapropriate) or purpose is, so they can be sold. Number 3: How much money would a decent pixel avatar cost? I want to get something that is really good. Post a topic in Media Market saying what you want to buy, and see what people want for their avatar entries. Price may depend on a lot ofthings, time, quality, personal demand from different sigmakers.. Number 4: What is the best way to get a really decent avatar, PMing a good pixeller, or posting a competition on the Media Market board? If the first who is the best at pixelling? I know misterxman is pretty hot, but is he the best? Check this thread, it's got great info about the more active artists in MM. A competition would work too, showing variety so you can pick fairly well which you like most. Edit: Ald was posting at the same time, his info is good too.
  10. Looks great that small. Something doesn't have to be big to be good, usually it would then have too much empty space and such.
  11. What? Last time the word "noob" was censored, half of rs complained and begged to bring it back. :?

We have discussed this many times. Until Jagex steps up and adds this to their official posted rules in their main site, we see nowhere in http://www.runescape.com a place where the ENTIRE Jagex team has agreed on a position over this issue. Some Jagex staff say it's ok, others say it's not, some may not even know what they are talking about, they have not come to a concensus or bothered to post it in public.
  13. Nice shaded character, as usual you draw good chars in your style. Bg is pretty nice as well, shows you don't always need a object oriented BG all the time if you use just the right color patterns. Why not sell it here? The theme appeals to a lot of sig buyers here.
  14. Comparing those two pics, vector definetely does your style more justice. It may take longer to make, but I think it's worth it to see one great vector pic every once and a while than a lot of not so good pixel pics. Your first pixel sig looks good though, it just depends what you want to draw I guess, like a full bg+chars sig, or a single bgless char pic like the top one.
  15. These guys will help you find them in no time: The Search Button Google Google pics results Please try those before making a new topic asking people to search stuff for you.
  16. Actually there's another troll, Craka. Craka from Xmas cracker and pea hat from well, phat. :P
  17. Dam nice stuff, awaiting the final pic. You got good skill and well deserve the millions you'd get paid.
  18. :?: I have a opacity watermark on a seperate layer up the side, but doesn't show since the background is white atm >.<. I'll post updated one later. Too much schoolwork atm. And I'm not using the face because I'm making her asian ;). Well you're free to add the watermark on the pic but you still have to do what the original artist asked for too, can't replace with what they didn't ask for.
  19. That's looking real good. Yeah the girl seems too muscled, but great shading you did.
  20. Check the Sticky Topic for a lot of good links for starters before making topics asking plainly how to make sigs.
  21. Sig trades go in Media Market, but those sigs can be made for free in the website advertised in them. Also, both sigs add up to more than 300x150 total size, so please remove one or an Admin will remove both.
  22. How come you did not add required credit to the person who made the original base? Original Base From: http://www.meadow.mardraum.net/dolls_bases.htm http://www.meadow.mardraum.net/ Rules: http://www.meadow.mardraum.net/faq_rules.htm :?:
  23. I posted the reason in your original topic, and even PMed you a friendly message with your pics incase you still needed the links. When you signed up for these forums you AGREED to abide by Tipit rules, which include not posting RL pictures. If you didn't bother to read the rules or forgot them, that was your mistake. Why don't we allow RL pics? Mainly security, but you're free to go somewhere else if you don't like our rules. Always check why the Mod did not allow your post, and if you're still wondering, just PM him/her instead of making a new topic which will only mean a slower reply from a mod.
  24. Sorry but no RL pics of yourself allowed here.
  25. Very nice job, your shading looks very natural. Just looks a bit weird without the hair but I'm sure it will come out all good.
