  1. Just as I expected before clicking the link, someone already posted there that they are all ripped. Rippers, if you can read this, realize you'll NEVER sell a ripped sig without getting caught and only make yourself look like a desperate fool, give it up. Thanks triquos for posting this to us. Although the staff here cannot immediately take action against that ripper (different forum), anyone can report him to the forum company and hopefully get his boards shut down.
  2. Sorry but your question is too general. Please check out the Stickys and their links on this board, which should give you plenty of information on how to get started.
  3. Nice fake. :)
  4. Tipit has all of that posted on their site, just had to search a bit: http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=treasure_trails.htm#rewards http://www.tip.it/runescape/smithing_tables.php
  5. Yes we know, it's the reason he's posting in Media, because it's a fake. :P
  6. Don't expect a warm welcome for anything Buddy related here in Tipit since many people here like to see original work, and flaming isn't going help post them here peacefully. Personally, although your story ideas are original, I see little technical work when it comes to creating your own art, and the stories would have been more appreciated if you had drawn your own characters. This being the Media board more than the Varrock Library, the weight tends to go toward the art instead of the story, and people expect to see original artwork - the purpose of this board. For comics like these, you don't need complex or fancy characters, simple shaped/shaded characters work great as long as the story with them is enjoyable, which is good because it means most people with little artistic talent can still draw funny comics. Just check newspaper comics, they got little to no shadin, the simplest shaped characters; yet their stories make it worth looking at their simplistic art. No need to use old premade work when you could try to make some.
  7. Already sold. Although it's not as bad as it sounds, thought I'd censor for tipit just in case.
  8. I think you need more contrast of shades, darker tones to compare with the lighter tones, but besides that it's nice.
  9. Nice piece again, but interesting to see how you could make a BG with your skill. Also maybe slightly smaller pieces. :)
  10. Agreed, if you're in a bad mood and are just going to take your anger out on someone else, don't bother posting here with it, we all have stuff to deal with IRL that gives stress, trust me Paw you're not the only one. So Chunk didn't explain just right that he wanted his sig rated, give him a break, we're all bound to mistype something somewhere; I think it's safe to assume he ment to be rated as usual. On topic, I think the piece is too symmetrical, but nice nonetheless, font is cool. :)
  11. When Pixel started to spread, there was a antipixel movement which was attempted. People made "antipixel sig shops", antipixel sigs, and so forth, but clearly it takes a bit more than propaganda to stop the spread of something here. Just make the style you like, as long as you're enjoying what you make, at least you know you have the choice to make what you want. Maybe the forums have too much of something you don't like, but that's life, can't get everything to be as you'd like it to be. Nice sig, the animation is good but the bottom left text is a bit too simple.
  12. Kinda cute, shade it a bit. :P
  13. Again when I have time, I'll add something here too, hopefully better than a pitiful shack.
  14. I've been drawing for years and I still can't really get the shading part down. :( I practice alot though. I'm really working to improve my drawing skills. :D Hehe practice best way indeed, just try different ways, some may turn out bad, but eventually you'll find someway you like.
  15. Nice sketches, they are mainly lineart so I think you should practice also sketching in more shading which can still be done with the same pencil in black and white. :)
  16. It's very possible to learn without looking at other artwork. If you're going to imitate other people's artwork, be aware that while you may be copying their strengths, you're also repeating their mistakes and weaknesses. The sky, for example, has the same star pattern which I have been told are too simple and boring, which could have been greatly worked on more; yet you did my same mistake. Why imitate when you can make your own style which you could do something better? :) Sig is alright, but by the imitating, you transfered the sword in the same exact position; how exactly can you jab a sword into a solid ground like the roof of a building?
  17. Yeah, whenever you don't know how to draw something, look up a reference pic and you will know exactly how a vembrace should look like. Just copy (not trace) the vemb how it looks, all you have to do is log in RS to find a good screenshot.
  18. Well CC would be cool, let me know and I'll change it to make it better. :P
  19. Sig battles have happened many times in Tipit Media, just that it was all nearly a year ago, so newcomers or other people may have forgotten about them. There's nothing wrong with a sig battle, it's a nice way of competing in a mature way. Just because no battles have appeared lately doesn't mean they were too inaprorpiate to be posted here.
  20. OR Whichever fits best. So, King Kong, up for a fight to see who is the true monster of the city? This town is too small for two monsters..
  21. Just need more shading, specially on the dragon. Lineart pretty rough. :P Actually, your lineart is horrible, you have no chance at art it's clear now.
  22. Cool lineart. The throne is fine, but just seems too big for the guy sitting on it (looks small), his arms seem a bit too big for him, but I think you can correct all that by just making his body/head/legs bigger to fit the rest. Overall the characters seem a bit skinny but as your style it looks all good, teddybear is just right. The left guy's whip seems a bit rigid where he's holding it at because it goes quite a bit high when it should start to lean down almost immediately after where he's holding it. Good luck with finishing it, gonna be nice.
  23. Looking great. :) I think we should start adding vehicles/people on the streets and buildings instead of adding more areas with new buildings. A smaller more detailed piece is better than a big half empty one. :) Once this section is really full, then we could keep expanding.
  24. Sig battles between artists have been done before here (with the winner's gfx getting the most votes from everyone watching), it's up to the competitors on how they want to be judged if they both agree to their rules. Good luck to both and have fun, no flaming.
