On the old site, I could see the threads I follow by just scrolling down on the main forum page. On the new site, I need to click a link to see it. It'd be nice to get the old system back where I can see a notification about the content I follow and just click the link.

What's stopping you from getting something resembling a PS controller for the PC? Also, people, stop saying the PC or console community sucks. Both of them have douchebags, both of them will have [wagon]. A certain amount of it will depend on the game you play.

My opinions might be unpopular but again this is a forum for a PC game. I wouldn't write those down if I didn't actually believe them. Was it the lan party joke? Damn. That's kinda sad lol. The better your armour, the more your max health. I could see Rune Pures working in F2P, simply because there's nothing better. (The dragon PVP stuff doesn't count.) In P2P, you'd get trashed by a guy in better armour because he has significantly more health. One thing I noticed is when I used chaotic staff vs virtus wand + book, my adrenaline seemed to go up WAY slower. Assuming this is true, it needs to be fixed. (To be fair, I spend probably 15 seconds using that staff, so I'd need to use it a bit more to be sure.)

When I saw some of your earlier posts on this thread and the 360 vs PS3 thread, you came across as a troll to me. As this thread went on, I saw you making more and more intelligent statements. After seeing all the posts Faux made, and how this thread derailed into him arguing with everyone regardless of where they stood on the console/PC argument, up to the point where I don't think most people even understand what the argument is about, I must apologize to you. It seems very likely that the OP is either a troll, stupid, or both. A final note... I've said this before. I think most people can agree that PC offers a better gaming experience. To a "gamer" or whatever you want to call it, PC is probably better then console. That being said, most gamers will likely own a PC and a console or two anyways. Consoles have the small advantage that you can buy a console and be done with it, without much research into the console. It's more accessible to people who don't want to put research into it or do much gaming. Overall, I think people with enough knowledge about the subject would choose PC.

Consoles have simplicity to them. You go to the store, you buy a console, you go home. You buy a game, you know it will work for your console because it's for your console. You don't have to build a custom PC or spend effort shopping to find a very good PC. I also have significant difficulty imagining buying a PC for as much as a console that actually be able to play all the new games for as long as the consoles do; I especially doubt that you can do this very easy, as opposed to just buying a console. From personal experience, you generally put in more effort into installing PC games as opposed to console games - you have you say "I agree" several times and generally enter a product key. Minor point, but with console games, after you do the equivalent of clicking "ok" it's either installing or done installing, not waiting for user input. It's significantly more difficult to mess up installing a PC game as opposed to a console game. PC can game as well, if not better then consoles, but they require more time and/or money to do so. Some people don't want to do this. A large reason behind me getting a PS3 was that I could get a PS3 for Christmas, whereas I couldn't get a computer. Ignoring the fact that the reason behind this was my parents quirks, I can put a PS3 on my Christmas list and my parents can get me one if I want. Buying a PC is much more complicated then buying a console. Please keep in mind, even if these reasons do not apply to YOU personally, does not mean that these reasons are insignificant. In the PS3 vs 360 thread, there was a highly unintentionally ironic post from someone saying PC is better, and the only reason he gamed on a console was because it was easier to do. He doesn't need to worry if a game does or does not work, and because getting the games installed are easier.

A good PC will offer overall a better gaming experience, at least for single player. An expensive enough PC will run games far better then consoles. Games like Diablo are a stupid example on why PC gaming sucks, considering that last time I checked, Diablo is a PC exclusive game. (Also, major apologies if it isn't.) Certain games play better with a mouse and keyboard, just like certain games play better with a gaming controller. However, a PC can GET a gaming controller. A console can't really get a mouse, and using the joystick to move a pseudo-mouse is a poor substitute. I have half a mind to start my own thread called Console Vs PC Gaming - Pros and Cons. PC vs Console depends on how much money you want to spend on gaming, how good you are with computers and what kind of games you want. I played Dragon Age 1 on the PC, and I cringe at imagining playing that game without a mouse. PC probably has the biggest range of games, since it would get pretty much all 360 games as well as PC exclusive games, which include pretty much all MMOs. I'm not actually a PC gamer or anything. There are advantages consoles have over PC, and there are advantages PC has over consoles. Neither one is better then the other. I'm basically just playing Devil's advocate here. I have a PS3 and play Skyrim on it, as well as black ops with friends or online. Although you can get those on the PC, neither of those are really feasible for me to play on the PC - my laptop certainly isn't good enough for Skyrim, and my friend and I don't both have good enough PCs for black ops or an FPS shooter game like that.

I admit, the 50% increase was a bit overboard. I'm sorry, I should have picked more realistic numbers. Let's try that. 2% spending $50 a month is 1m a month increase . 10% spending $10 a month is also 1m increase. Now, Jagex charges like 8 bucks a month for membership, and there are probably under 1m members. If it's over it probably isn't much over. With these numbers, SoF increases their income by like 10%-15%.

There aren't wands or offhand weapons in dungeoneering YETi, unfortunately. ftfy I hope they fix mage in dungeoneering so that you can use a celestial weapon and not be screwed on ammunition. Always bugged me how Emp Fire could be more useful then Celestial staff since Emp Fire + Surge box = unlimited fire surge, Celestial Staff + surgebox = unlimited air surge. Purely speculation at this point tho.

Random thought: does it sound unplausible that, on average, 10% of members spend say $50 a month on SoF? That's an extra 5m a month, assuming 1m members. (CBA to look it up.) Now, Jagex makes what, 8m a month from members? (Assuming 1m members and somewhere around 1m a month.) That's over a 50% profit increase. Now, keep in mind I'm just pulling these numbers out of my ass, but it seems very plausible that the SoF SIGNIFICANTLY increased their profits. Even a 10% increase in their profits from the SoF would be significant and be worth continuing the SoF for. Again, I'm just making these numbers up. But it's very easy to imagine how the SoF would have significantly increased their profits.

No Good fight mages with a CSB then? o.O CSB is useless because you don't need bloods/deaths anymore. CSB provides unlimited air runes. Seems like the way to mage in DG is use wands tho. I think Evee's my favorite. If I didn't up up as a gym teacher, I'd just make a team of evoled Eevees.

What bugs me is how inconsistent it is tbh. Barrows degrades, bandos and such doesn't, yet in the new system Bandos and such is better? Then there's PVP gear which will degrade into dust but is worse then Nex armour? Also, I'm thinking a maul might be best choice for new combat system. As you said, only one item to recharge instead of 2, and you only pay 200k. Especially true with magic - dual casting apparently goes through runes really fast, staffs are 2h and slower but hit higher to compensate. I don't think it's bad if higher level armour degrades, but it needs to be consistent.

I don't think we should worry about gym order or anything. Just make a team of 6 pokémon of your type. If we did do some sort of order, I'd need to be last. I have one pokémon that is suitable at earlier levels. Maybe two. Or, you know, completely redo my choices :P

No clue about the dog trio personally, but I got the impression that the birds could breed. There's an episode where Ash fights a guy using one (of the birds, Moltres specifically) with his Charizard. (Don't judge me for knowing this.)
