is that the main point? or is it the fact that its a 3rd party client which is illegal? if you want to rant, you might as well rant out all the others rules. here ill help you.. rule 1 should be allowed so we dont get our words starred all the time, rule 2 should be allowed so we can scam items, makes it alot easier to get free stuff, rule 3 should be allowed so we can get zezimas password. this is how you sound to me with rule 7 sorry... go rant your way into victory, no one cares Except...we're not getting Zezima's password or unstarring words via SS. Don't you think people would notice if SS was keylogged? Most of RS would be hacked by then. Not 20 whiny kids who went to an account buying website, got keylogged and blamed it on SS. =; -

Tbh it doesn't give an unfair advantage. All it does is check every 5 seconds for you. Please don't make click 3 extra times. :ohnoes: Why do they ban something that people can use at their own risk? If you're lazy enough to need SS and don't care if you get keylogged it's your decision. Probably was just some moron who claimed he got keylogged after visting yougothaxxed.com. It won't bother me, I know how to get onto IRC the regular way. I can use the down arrow to refresh. I can use Tip.it for calcs (they're much more accurate anyways \ ). And I just use FF tabs for all that. It's a browser SS. No need to lose sleep. :shame: -
The flap emote of course. 8-)

Do you realize how many variations they'd have to block? n0ob, no0b, n0o0ob, the list goes on. Besides, even if they blocked every combination possible, there would just be a new word, like N'wah (go morrowind \) or some other word. It's not like it's very insulting anymore. Like being called dumb, or a loser, it doesn't really affect you becuase it's used to much... :ohnoes:

Rune-specific essence :?

My theory is everything is first of time based (Treasure trails too) and dependent on how many doors you open. When I try to spawn a brother to a safe spot by opening 100s of doors, I haven't gotten a single item. But when I open 2 doors, the 2 to get into the chest room, i've gotten double items, and almost always get an item.

So you respect someone with more money basically. Sure if I had 200m to waste on prayer I would, but seeing as how most people don't they go for cooking or fletching.
-
Crafting cuz then i can make furrys for all the nubs and sell for 5m ea and get richer than bill gates lolololol

Of course there are going to be less admired skill capes though. The only way they can be equal is if they are all the same skill. However everyone is very stereo-typical. If you fished your way to 99 fishing and cooking, it's more respectable. And you can just buy Herblore and Construction, yet those are some of the less common 99's. Construction is insanely easy if you have like 500m to waste. Same with plenty of other skills. Smithing, farming, prayer, but yet when someone has 99 prayer, and they bought it, what's the difference between someone who got 99 cooking and bought it? Prayer can be faster xp. 252 per bone and it's your speed clicking. Just grab some runners and you'll have 99 prayer in days. Yet when I spend 3m and 1 week on getting my cooking cape, I get looked down upon. Sure you're going to say '200m and 3m are totally different numbers' and I realize this. But still. IT IS A BUYABLE SKILL. COOKING IS A BUYABLE SKILL. Prayer=Cooking? No Prayer>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Cooking. And if everyone thinks it's so easy to get 99 cooking or fletching, go get it then. Most people who say that don't even have enough xp for one 99 skill.

Dwarves wield Steel Pickaxes but only drop Iron Ones... -
So what? I spent a week in the rogues den and lost 3m for my cooking cape. But that's 3m and 1 week that only 7000 people have bothered to spend. Let's take a logical look at this. Now assuming there's about 2million people avidly playing runescape...there are 7000 people with 99 cooking, 8000 with 99 fletching, and about 700 with 99 firemaking. So that's 16000 out of 2 million, or 1 out of 125. Assuming every world contains an average of 1250 people (for easy statistics) that's 10 total people with one of those skill capes. If you walked all the way around runescape, you'd only see about 10 people with a 99cooking/fletching/firemaking cape. Now 10 people is not a lot. This is spread all across runescape. Assuming there's at least 10,000 squares N-S and E-W and no more than half of that is unaccessable, that's 25,000,000 (25 million) square squares. So on average every 2.5million squares you take you'll see a person with a 99 cooking/fletching/firemaking cape. Hmm, remembering correctly, each total distance is about 5000 squares, so logically, if every person with a skill cape was evenly divided across Runescape, in order to find one person on your current world, you'd have to trek across runescape 500 times. Assuming you go 1 square per second, that's 2,500,000 seconds, whcih is about 28 days of straight walking. We all know this statistic is greatly obscene. So let's look at this more realistically. There are about 1000x1000 squares that are often used, once again suggesting half are unaccessable, that's 500x500 or 250,000. Walking these 500 squares, you'd have to travel 50 times. Technically this would take you about 7 hours. Assuming at least 5 of these people are in the same general area, every 3-ish hours you'll see someone with a 99 cooking/fletching/firemaking cape. Wow. 3 hours. Most people hardly play 3 hours on the weekends. So every day you'll run into probably one person with one of those capes. One a day, huh? Wow that's too overly common. I guess I can't respect this one person I see every day. Now assuming there's about 50,000 people deserving skill capes, that's 1/3 times the ratio, 1:40. So just calculating 3 times the people ratios, you'll see 2-3 people with any skill cape on any given day. 2-3 people, and one out of these people will have a cooking/fletching/firemaking cape. Taking the higher statistic, 1 of 3, 1 of 3 people will have a cooking/fletching/firemaking cape. 1 of 3, 1/3, .33333. So 1/3 of skill capes are cooking/fletching/firemaking, meaning about 1/3 of the rest are combat, and the others are divided among the rest of the skills. So 3 skill capes per day, one of which being a cooking/fletching/firemaking cape, I'd say that's still an achievment. Now on the other hand, the quest cape...oooh the quest cape. I don't know why JaGex even introduced the quest cape. Right now fishing at the Fishing Colony, I see 3 quest capes. 3. Huh, isn't that supposed to be the amount that you see total?? And what, the highest skill you 'need' is 70 cooking. Come on. Level 80's with 1200 total can finish all the quests. I can get a quest cape, i have all the requirements, but I choose not to. A) it doesn't provide a trim, B) the new quests are worthless xp, I can get more xp training that skill than I can finishing the quest, C) I already have a 99 skill cape, and D) it's a really ugly color ad design. I think that the quest cape is the most disrespected of all the capes. Over 100,000 people CAN get the quest cape. Hmmph, some achievment. -.-

I was getting ready for a clan trip and I noticed I had no amulets. I took out my pickaxe and headed down to the Crafting guild to mine some gold. D'oh, no apron. I quickly tele to Karamja, and mine some gold near the Brimhaven dungeon. Do a home tele. Run over to the furnace with my diamond and gold ore. D'oh, forgot ammy mold. Run back, bank, get mould. Smelt the ore and try to make an ammy. 'You must have a crafting level of at least 70 to make this item.' Now I'm pissed. Head back and get a ruby. Make the ammy but forget string. Buy some shears, string it, forget enchanting runes. Bank. Enchant. Tele to edge. After all that work a clan member gives me a power ammy instead.

Farming, imagine all the weed you could get from that...plus I could sell my 'herbs' to 'herblorists' to make 'potions' out of. :uhh:

When I'm buying sharks and I get flooded with 'buy my 28 sharsk plz ther 900ea lik u sed' When people follow me around saying 'Wuts that cannon u holding?' When autotypers never get reported, you must have some godly hands to be able to type 'green:wave:selling sharks 1k ea -guy123!!!!!!!!' incessantly without ever making a mistake. I can hardly type 'green:selling 2k sharks 900ea' and get solid chatting. Bad scammers. I mean it's not so bad unless they completely suck. When they offer the money and 3 tarromin and an eye of newt. Sometimes I wonder what their thought process is, 'omg he definately wants that 1503 gold worth of items more than his 1m...!' People who are willing to spend 5$ to get virtual money via scammers, autoers, looters, etc. When people assume my combat reflects my mage level and demand teleothers to Camelot. When people say 'Np' after you say thanks. No, you did not do me a favor. I could do something with my 1m, you however do not want anything to do with the itme you're selling. Or vice versa. When people talk with you for 5 minutes and expect you to add them. When you do add someone and they never talk to you again. When you do add someone and they just beg you for stuff. When you do add someone and they try to scam you. When people follow you trying to sell you stuff above normal price. When people take you for an idiot and try to sell you random junk for insane amounts of money. When you give someone free stuff and they demand more. When people barge into the spot you're training at, demand you to leave, then get aggrivated and call their friends to 'steal' the spot from you. When people say where they're training is their spot and you have absolutely no right to be training there. People who completely ignore you. People who correct other people's grammar while typing like a 2 year old. 'lol u know u was wrong. its 'convince' not 'convice'...' People who say others have bad 'grammer' People who think they're better than you because their combat is higher. People who think they're better than you because they waste their time just getting money with nothing to do with it but buy rares. People who think they're better than you because they could 'own u in de wild' People who just think they're better than you. People who can't take the time to spell out your whole name, or even the part they do spell out correctly. 'Phiser' 'Pish' 'Phil' People who brag about their friends being better than you for any reason stated above. People who think they're cool because they've got a higher total level and combat level than you and they've only been playing for '2 weeks' People who over-analyse and call people on every spelling mistake they make. Most Runescapers in general. I could spend all day typing, but my arms are getting sore. :ohnoes:

It's because of the mass chatting. The chat pushes the trade offer off the chat box making it seem to the abuse button that they haven;t traded recently. The same thing happens in world 18. They trade, wait for their 'Sending Trade Offer' to disappear, then offer the money to scam. It's almost too smart for scammers...:-k

I also realized they're pretty worth less, I maxed out about 4 on a dark wizard, I did more damage kicking than with 10 chinchompas (red ones too). However I did have a low (around 90) ranged bonus as I only had a defender as well. I was very suprized at the usefulness of salamanders however, I managed to hit quite a few 15's on all 3 modes on market guards.

Hunter Exp Table + tips from Venom0619 (#1 Hunter)
Phisher replied to Socc's topic in General Discussion
Birds are really slow xp. Go with falconry till 57, then red salamanders if you can find an empty world. They give 270ish xp and with 60 hunting you can set up all 4 traps in the area. -
I'm going for 71 at least, only 4(-ish) more levels, I'm ranked somewhere in the 300's currently...My firend got 71 yesterday \ go nik <333

When they do make P3, the BETTER let us into Priffidinas and make it so that the quest is different (somewhat) so that everyone won't just go over to a guide and finish it 2 hours after it comes out... :?

Real life's mainly carbon and nitrogen, so those who obsess over pixels/real life, I guess you can be Carbon huggers/Nitrogen huggers. :| -
Area Sounds: 7.5/10 They're ok, I'd prefer a graphical update instead however... Emote Screen: 2/10 Worthless, I'd rather just get rid of them , no one actually uses them for anything... Orange Text on stats page: 6/10 Point;ess and strains ones eyes/ New Equipment Page: I like the close up but the stats thing is dumb Run Button: N/a nothing except the screen where it's located really changed. Lumbridge Bank: -5/10 I didn't do Recipe for Disaster just to get some gloves, I deserve the one and ONLY bank in Lumbridge. Compass 2.5/ 10 another useless update... Rune Boots: 6/10 Gives me incentive to buy :-# Free Lumbridge teleport: 5/10 not too needed really.

I hate it, it looks like a game for three year olds who can't read. :| The orange on brown makes it worse, you might as well put gray on black. I haven't gotten a chance to try anything else besides smithing (which hasn't changed -.-) but they sound more realistic. :?
