  1. Ooh, I remember that one. It had cheat-codes for that cute little 2D-sidescroller-shooter game if I recall :P Heh, I'm all for being rebellious and leaving Andrew's name there. Copyright or not, RS wouldn't be here without him. Just my personal opinion, not representing Tip.It's view here. We kept the Netscape Navigator bit in as a bit of an easter egg. I'm pretty sure some of the newer more script-intensive stuff doesn't work on Netscape at all - lord knows I never tested anything for it, and I've been on the crew for a while now :P
  2. I'll mark this one as completed, then. Thanks, GrandZephyr :)
  3. These pokes are so slow! I think they're delivered via carrier pigeon.

  4. This information has been added to the calculators and planners. Thanks for the information, DavidGW! Going to lock this topic now.

  6. Hey all, This is something we plan on doing in future, once we have figured out with reasonable accuracy what is on the rare drop table(s) and which monsters have access to what drops. Given how rare some drops are, this may take some time still. Meanwhile, any reports, especially those on rare drops that drop a varying quantity of items (such as addy ore, coal, pure essence and yew logs) are much appreciated.
  7. Oops, we do list them as a possible assignment in our Slayer guide. I'll go add them right away. Thanks Vhozid! :)
  8. Judging on Obliv's explanation, it seems that both potion boosts and ranged boosts from prayer are included when multiplying, both times. For plain level 99, the following would occur: 99 * 1.1 = 108.9 = 108 108 * 1.1 = 118.8 = 118 That's an increase of around 19.2%. If you were to boost your ranged to exactly level 100, we'd have: 100 * 1.1 = 110 110 * 1.1 = 121 For an increase of 21%. So yeah, the exact percentage varies a little bit.
  9. I don't know what you mean by our gallery? The items database page that our ranged max hit calculator refers to does state 10% which is clearly wrong. I'll go change that momentarily. Our calculator follows Obliv's formula, aside from a few minor differences - please refer to [qfc]154-155-606-60798052[/qfc] for more information. Basically, it is as Leaf says. Multiply ranged level by 1.1, round down, multiply by 1.1, round down again, for an approximately-but-not-quite 20% boost.
  10. Thank you for your submission :) I've updated the picture for the guard's bestiary entry and have credited you. Feel free to post updated pictures in the pinned topic (see here) instead of opening a new topic for each. Thanks again!
  11. Thank you for your submission :) I've updated the picture for the champion's bestiary entry and the picture in the champions' challenge guide. Glorious credit has been bestowed upon you.
  12. Guess we won't be seeing that screenshot :( Sirbadak, I've logged the drop. You will be credited once we can confirm it. Thanks for submitting :)
  13. Thank you for your submission :) Speedyshel is working on the various things that were added in this quest. I'll forward this information to him.
  14. Confirmed. This method works on my newbie account who has not completed the quest yet as well. Will edit this into the guide as soon as I am able to.
  15. Donkey Kong Country 2, now there's one for the ages. The music in that game was sick good. My favourite from that game would be the enchanted forest theme. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0Mp8uMammw Other worthwhile ones are Krook's March (castle theme), Hot-head Bop (lava cave theme) and Bayou Boogie (swamp theme). Also like your pick of C&C Generals, that game's entire soundtrack is surprisingly good :) While I wouldn't say any music, it did have some great tunes. Really love the one that plays in that outdoor snow level. I'm sure that game breaks a few laws of probability. How the hell does one put an opera scene in a SNES game!? :P Anyway, here's a favourite of mine from that game - Phantom Forest. You might also enjoy the Black Mages rendition of Dancing Mad. I especially like the final part that starts at around the 8 minute mark. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdt74rarv4g
  16. HinabiSoldier, seeing as how you've not replied yet, I've gone ahead and recorded this behind the screens. Once we can confirm this drop you will be credited. Thank you for submitting :)
  17. Hey, Sometime in May of this year, we've upgraded to a new server, which has the IP-address 184.173.129.226. The fact that your computer is still trying to connect to the old server at 209.160.73.125 is rather strange - such a change should take days to process at most, and not months. You could try contacting your ISP and see if the error's on their end. If they can't help you out, feel free to shoot me a private message and we can try to work something out. Apologies for the inconvenience!
  18. Thank you for your submission, Tired Old Elf :) I've taken a look at the code, and I think I may have found what has been causing this issue. I'll report back shortly... Edit: it should be working correctly now. Apologies for the inconvenience!
  19. *prays and teleports*

  20. Looks like this has been left lingering a little bit too long - all of the info in here has been added to the itemsDB entries. Thanks! :)
  21. A wild scorpion appears! Scorpion used RAWR! It is not very effective...
