  2. Thank you for your submission :) While this is an interesting bit of trivia, it doesn't really help people with actually defeating Hati. I've discussed the matter with the other crew, and we don't really think it is necessary to add this to Hati's bestiary entry, sorry :(
  3. Just had a quick chat with the person behind the GE centre. Basically, he's bogged down with stuff that is a bit higher on the priority list for the foreseeable future. Should the algorithm be updated at some point, we'll let you know. Thanks for suggesting :)
  4. While the herblore cost calculator is working okay, we're not quite happy with it just yet - for one, it's a bit unclear how we come up with the prices. This is something that will be improved upon eventually. You may see more support for calculating prices come up in future :)
  5. Good sirs, One of our trainees is currently slavering away gathering intel on the robes. Even though the guide mentions you "show" the talismans as opposed to "giving" them, I don't think it hurts to clarify that you will not lose them, so I will do just that.
  6. Vampyre race-group will be added shortly. I didn't take care of your original post so I missed the bit about the vampire -2- and -3- looks, I'll just re-use that image. I'll go over the numbering, too (edit: turns out one variant was removed as it no longer existed, that explains) Salve amulet will be something for the future I suppose.
  7. As Sy says, you can already get a nice overview of which tasks you can and can't do in game. Us having a similar system going on would only be useful in the rare case where you can access tip.it but not RuneScape. Taking into consideration that implementing this would take a huge amount of work (there's a lot of tasks, after all) and would in the end be helpful to very few people, we'd rather spend our resources working on other features that are beneficial to a larger part of our user-base. I too find that I tend to do tasks one set at a time. The wiki, as well as our very own task guides, provide an overview of the skills and quests you need to complete a certain task set :)
  8. That's odd. They should automatically be renamed when a monster's name changes. I restored the old images, thanks. Ideally you would use the race drop-down to search for, say, "all vampyres". The fact that the search turns up Count Draynor is probably because the word vampyre is mentioned somewhere in the location or notes box - it tends to cough up a lot of [cabbage] you probably weren't looking for, sadly. Try searching for 'man' :-P it may be worthwhile to add a "vampyre" race, as there's a fair few of them now, and they're not really undead as the salve amulet doesn't work against them (iirc). I'll discuss this with the crew. Both Vanstroms are undead now, for the time being.
  9. With the last update the Vampyre Bat items and the GWD Vampyres have also been updated. We should've replaced all mentions of Vampire with Vampyre now. Thanks for your help :)
  10. Hello Muraat, welcome to TIF and thank you for taking the time to report this. It would seem that somebody already added the drop to the chaos druid's bestiary profile page in the meantime and that you've been credited for this :) BuryBONE, the chaos dwarf cannoneer already has the uncut dragonstone listed as a drop (the variant that you fight on the battlefield anyway - the second variant we list only appears during a quest and drops nothing of interest). Thanks for mentioning it though!

  12. I believe they restore inbetween amounts, but I was using prayer at the same time which was draining fairly quickly and wasn't pay too much attention but it looked like it does it in 1s. Cheers, and can confirm now. Tested with 95 prayer. Potion restore 307 prayer points. Old formula for regular prayer potion is 25% + 7. 95 * 0.25 + 7 = 30.75 So the new formula would simply be floor(level * 2.5 + 70) I reckon.
  13. Question - do the old (instant restore) prayer potions restore multiples of 10 only? Or will they also restore in-between amounts?

  15. Hey, We've noticed this, too. As the vampyre slayer quest is still called vampire slayer in game (it was last time I checked anyway), there's no doubt quite a few inconsistencies in game that will be smoothed out with the next update. As such, we've decided to let this slide until then - having to check things twice for something so relatively insignificant would be a bit of a waste of time. Feel free to keep posting things where vampyres/vampires appear in game. Should minimize the risk of us missing obscure stuff such as the fishing contest vampyre.
  16. Hey, Some submissions stay around for a long period of time as they may be hard to confirm - quest submissions come to mind. Other, especially those related to recent content such as the Temple Trekking example you mention, should ideally be taken care of more quickly. We're aware of this problem, and we've already been discussing on how to improve the way we deal with submissions. With regards to your second example, I'm sorry to say that much of the information in that submission isn't very useful to us. Take the Darkmeyer hood for example - you provide the item's statistics (or lack thereof, in this case), its weight, its examine and an inventory image. That just isn't enough to fully fill out an items database entry. We'll need more information to properly fill out the notes, uses and location boxes. To get this information, we basically have to collect the item ourselves in the game. Once we have the item, the information you provided (stats, weight, examine) is already at our fingertips, which makes some of the information in your submission not that useful to us. This doesn't mean that we completely want to discourage people from making submissions related to quest items - noting obscure bits of information that we may miss, or information on items you don't necessarily run across is still appreciated. And again, we're working on improving how we handle submissions. Thanks for your concern.

  19. I've updated the calculator. Your maximum hit should be 652 right after you've potted when turmoil is running at full power.
  20. If the wiki is to be believed, monsters that have stats over level 99 will not give greater Turmoil boosts - Turmoil will act as if they had level 99 in that stat. Obliv's formula also seems to use this assumption, as he makes you add +9 to strength when you are using Turmoil in melee. As it turns out our melee max hit calculator is a tad outdated. I'll update it with the latest formula from the RSOF and see how it goes.

    Bought this game some time ago. Definitely worth the $10! TotalBiscuit and Jesse Cox are doing a let's play on this game. They make for a pretty comic duo. ( )
  22. I talked about it and we won't be removing it entirely, but we will be placing almost everything related to obtaining the 'free' death talisman within hide/show block. The quest guide will assume you're bringing your own talisman, though it will still explain who Thorgel is to avoid any confusion.
  23. Great, that matches the value produced by the formula. Think we can safely plug that one in, then. I've been asking around for members who happen to have less than level 25 in their combat skills but those seem to be quite rare. Somebody on the wiki offered that if the Floor part of the formula would end up rounding down to 0, you should use 1 instead. Falsifying that claim will likely only take a single sample so if anybody happens to be in the area, please do try.
