  1. The soul wars calculator has been updated. I've also changed, and hopefully improved, its user interface. If there's any issues with the new version, please report them here. If anyone had it bookmarked, the link has been changed: http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=soul_wars_calculator.htm
  2. Same thing here. Guy had a scythe but he clearly didn't play on classic 'cause he couldn't get the cape  I'm sure that'll be sorted in due time.
  3. Confirmed. The DG guide should be updated shortly.
  4. Hiya, thank you for your submission and welcome to the forums :) Defence is indeed the British way of spelling things. Jagex is a British corporation, after all. I'll go fix those items, cheers.
  5. The entries mention the act of cooking multiple times. I'm afraid we can't be much clearer that, without bloating the entries with relatively pointless information. Unless anyone feels otherwise, I'll toss this topic on the train to completed submissions.
  6. This is now being worked on :)
  7. While I'm sure that Warden causes bot-developers some headache, it doesn't magically make all problems go away. Botting is still quite rampant in WoW (even if you can't see it, 'cause the bots are under the friggin' floor), non-legit players account for 90% of the economy, and then there's crap like gold selling companies spelling out their URLs through corpses of dead gnomes in the middle of major cities... Running a process such as Warden through a browser-app might also be troublesome and would likely require users to actively install a piece of software.
  8. All of the journals should now be available in the items database. Cheers folks :)
  9. Thank you for posting those pictures Michael :) There's 20 misc journals? We have 1 through 12 listed on the site. I would assume three of the remaining ones are the journal drops from the Gulega, Blink and Dreadnaut. What else is in there? Also, in the itemsDB entries on the site, we typically include the number as which a misc journal entry is listed in game. Would you mind telling what numbers the gulega missive, blinks scribblings and resource requisition orders are listed as (as well as for the other misc journals if you don't mind posting those)?
  10. That should cover mostl of it then. Awesome, thank you very much! :) Assassin5757, would you like to be credited by your forum name or by your in-game name?
  11. If using a touchpad would be advantageous over using a mouse, all RTS progamers would be using touchpads. But they aren't :P
  12. Been a bit busy, completely forgot about this topic :-X sorry! I'll add the dialogue shortly. Any screenshots of book's text we're stilling missing (see above post) would still be appreciated :)
  13. Hmm, looks like this has been overlooked for a bit (ps use le sticky :-P). I'd say it looks nicer than what we have currently. I'll go ahead and replace it. Thanks! :)
  14. Hey, thank you for your submission :) I just toyed around with the boss a little to get a cleared idea of his mechanics. In his first form, Night-gazer uses both a single-target ranged attack and a single-target magic attack. He seems to use them randomly, unless you pray against either style, in which case he will attack exclusively with the combat style you're not protected against. His floating-spinning attack does indeed do magic damage to multiple targets. I've previously never noticed this attack doing magic damage, as I'm always praying against magic while fighting this boss, and the attack's projectile looks _exactly_ like the single-target ranged attack's projectile. Talk about confusing. In addition, this attack is also what causes your energy to be drained - praying against magic won't prevent the energy drain, either. The blast attack you describe for the second phase is the attack that has a chance of stunning you. I wasn't able to reliably activate prayer against this in a timely fashion. I did notice that it didn't hit particularly hard, though, unlike the potentially unavoidable slam follow-up :-X I'll update the bestiary entry to take this into account. Thanks! Edit: hah, it has as much text as Stomp now. At least we're being thorough :-P
  15. Hey guys, Thanks for reporting this. I have no idea why it didn't work, but I pulled some levers and flipped some switches, and now it seems to be working just fine for Internet Explorer. Apologies for the inconvenience!
  16. Looks legit to me. Even includes some low-level players in newbie attire stumbling about at the GE, so I doubt that it's a private server. Frame-editing close to six minutes of footage would just be silly. Oh well, [cabbage] happens. Assuming use of this bug isn't too wide-spread, Jagex should be able to track down gold generated in this way, so in the end little harm will be done.
  17. It's true. Level progression's a bit whacky, going 45-60-70-90. http://i.imgur.com/TZbX5.png
  18. The items database currently has chronicles 1 through 22, M&Thok 1 through 8 and notes for bosses up to but not including Yk'Lagor. Glorious credits await for anyone who can contribute screenshots of missing book texts ^_^ The dialogue for completion of the M&Thok series would also be appreciated.
  19. Turns out that someone else is already tinkering a bit with the calculator. I'll have to get in touch and ask what they're up to before I can make any adjustments. Might take a while, sorry!
  20. Hiya, Thank you for your submission. I'll look into it, and see if there's an easy way of doing this. It sounds like it might be painful to implement so no promises!
  21. Hiya! The word "dagannoth" is on the list of commonly misspelt words, along with things such as "taverley" and whatnot. I guess somebody stumbled across this typo and corrected it without knowing there was a topic about it here. Thanks for pointing it out, though :)
  22. Thank you for your submission :) What do you mean by "charging the urn"? The act of adding the rune to the urn? I don't think Saraownsj00 was referring to the general act of crafting an urn, here. At any rate, we don't explicitly mention whether or not you can use the assist system for a particular action. Unless we claim otherwise, you'll be able to get someone else to assist you.
  23. I'll make a new toon and give it a shot. Thank you for bringing this to our attention :) Edit: partially confirmed, I guess. You can no longer attack the dummies in Varrock after you reach level 8 attack. You can still attack those in Lumbridge, however. I'll go ahead and assume that level 10 is the cap for those dummies. This is in fact what the guide states, though the information on dummies is spread over two paragraphs. I'll rewrite that a little, so it is less confusing. Edit2: hrm, you can also train other combat skills on the Lumbridge combat dummies. Odd. [hide][/hide]
  24. Already bothered some others for the information. They've been added, thank you :)
