  1. Hey dcba41, thank you for your submission! After serving as a punching bag for a few minutes Verac did indeed hit me for over 150 damage, so it seems safe to assume that we didn't thoroughly check this one when converting from HP to LP. I'll go update it and credit you as appropriate :)
  2. Hey, thank you for your write-up :) We won't be listing the exact amount of ashes one needs to fill each type of urn, but other than that it seems that our prayer guide's section on urns covers everything nicely by now. Unless you feel we should add something to it, this topic will be taking the bus to submission afterlife...
  3. Hey, thank you for your submission :) The link should be working now!
  4. Hmm, that's true. I guess some people might be too cool to pick their six apples, though, so I'll include entries that both include and exclude picking six fruit on the calculator. Edit: and done.
  5. Thank you for your submission :) I've added to drop and credited you.
  6. Oops, corrected the bow's grouping. Weight on the necklace, guess it's a pretty sizeable droplet of blood then. Since the numbers match up, I'll put the weight of the Hexhunter bow at 1.8kg - that how much every other shortbow in Daemonheim weighs. Thank you :)
  7. You lost a bunch of mega-rare slayer drops? Man, that bites :( Jagex' customer support might as well be non-existant, I wouldn't expect anything from them. Hope you can get 'm unbugged, somehow! Given the Hexhunter's relatively low +attack bonus we were suspecting that it'd be shortbow-speed. I'll consider that one confirmed then. Likewise for the Blood necklace being weightless, that seems to be a trait shared among jewellery. Thank you :) As for the max-hit splats, there's so many bugs related to them that it's not even funny. For example, if you use the Fire Bolt spell while wearing Chaos gauntlets (raising your maximum hit from 120 to 150), any number between 120 and 150 will get the max-hit splat. It's as if the max-hit splat disregards the entire damage bonus given by the gauntlets. I'm guessing something similar happens for the hexhunter bow, causing the max-hit splat to disregard the damage bonus granted when attacking targets with a high magic level. That'll result in you getting a lot of 'max-hit splats' because that bow deals sick, sick damage to mages :P
  8. Thank you for your submission :) I believe you already made a submission on this earlier using the website's submission form. We couldn't just take your word for it, sadly, and well, the KB isn't to be trusted. Ten months and the stats for the chaotic rapier are still incorrect, for instance :P Your screenshot will do nicely, though. 8 + 6 + 5 makes 19 magic defence, so that's great. It seems that we're still missing the weight and attack rate for this bow, though - if you can spare the time, would you mind posting a screenshot of that as well? Thanks again!
  9. Thank you for your submission :) I'll add the drop and credit you.
  10. Yeah, if you're using urns while training a skill you seem to gain about 20% additional XP. They've been added to the skill planners, but unfortunately the entire urn concept doesn't really work for the calculators :( (can't fill urns without actually training the skill in the process, apart from the prayer ones) As for the farming calculator, I'll go and combine a bunch of entries. You're not going to check the health on your apple tree without first planting it, so it makes little sense to list those separately. Edit: problem is, for many things your harvest is variable. You'll typically get a different amount of vegetables, fruit and herbs for each harvest. As a result, your XP will vary each time...I'm afraid that farming as a whole just isn't really suited for use with our calculator system.
  11. It generally works correctly - I've been getting the exact same 400 something number as my maximum hit while dungeoneering. It just seems to break when you're using certain damage bonuses. For example, if you use Chaos Gauntlets to boost Fire Bolt's maximum hit from 120 to 150, anything between 120 and 150 will show as "maximum hit" (unless that one's been fixed by now). There seem to be certain oddities for other damage bonuses as well. I'm guessing it'll work fine for this particular case.
  12. Hiya Assemblaged, thank you for your submission :) I take it you actually got the "max hit splat" at 105 and 106 damage, respectively? Anyway, as the formula's simply based on educated guesswork by various players, there's no way of telling it's a 100% correct. That said, there's been some activity on the RSOF lately, so I'll see if plugging in their slightly updated version of the formula will rectify things.
  13. The thing is, if somebody's already completed the quest, he's unlikely to touch the quest guide ever again. And to somebody who's doing the quest for the first time, the information about portals using to give less XP and such wouldn't be relevant at all. The site doesn't really have a good spot to list changes such as this one where people will actually find them, other than the front page and, say, the Did you know? section in the Times, unfortunately :(
  14. Hey Tuturuturu, welcome to the forums and thank you for your submission :) The XP values currently listed on the site are the values you will receive if you enter a portal for the first time. They already include the bonus XP implemented with the Wilderness & Free Trade update. I've added a note to the bottom of the database entry for Jennica's ring to clarify things a little. For example, using the portal at the Western Ruins used to give 10,000 XP prior to the update. If you've used it previously, you can use it again to gain 5,000 bonus XP. If you haven't used it previously, you'll be awarded 15,000 XP (and this is the value listed in the guides currently).
  15. Hiya Sonic2876, welcome to the forums and thank you for your submission! :) As Sy_Accursed mentioned, prayer book pages can be obtained from any level of treasure trail, so they're listed under "global rewards".
  16. Thank you for your submission. I'll look into it once these newfangled urns have been added to the calculators :)
  17. Well, taking a quick look at the source-code of that thing...unlikely, unless we happen to have a bored math major lurking in the crew lounge somewhere. A less time-consuming alternative would be to just link to the page :P
  18. Hiya Freddo, thank you for your suggestion :) The initial items database listing does seem rather pointlessly long, and frankly just pointless in general. I'll discuss it with some other crewbies and see if we can find more sensible stuff to put there. Something similar could probably be done for shops and the bestiary. As for the quests listing, I feel that having a full listing right of the bat is quite convenient. If it causes browser slowdown, that's something we'll have to look into, as that shouldn't be happening.
  19. I put together a quick video showing how to get a bunch of guards in the fenced area by your lonesome, no fancy editing or anything. I'd recommend you to team up, though - makes the process a lot more efficient and less annoying. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIorGFi9AsY ...wow, that preview image sure is over-saturated.
  20. Exactly the same as before, I imagine. Using words that will be caught by the chat filter is fine, as those who don't wish to read them can simply leave the filter enabled. Trying to circumvent the filter is still not allowed.
  21. That wouldn't solve anything - if younger kids wanted to swear, they'd just evade the chat filter. As it is now, they can see their glorious cuss words in the actual chat. If you're not bothered, shrug and move on. If you are, keep the filter enabled, and you'll just see stars. Previously, they'd _have_ to resort to filter evasion, which meant that you'd see the (mangled) cuss words either way. Sure, there might be an increase in cussing right now, but once the novelty's worn off I'm sure it'll go back to what we're used to. Edit: of course, as you say, having a chat filter that actually works and doesn't have 10 false positives to each cuss word it filters would be ideal...but yeah, I don't see that suddenly happening after all these years :P
  22. All right, the items database entry should now properly explain how things work. Thank you very much :)
  23. No clue about the ladder reset. The GSL's currently running some sort of team-league cup. GSL season 5's in march, iirc.
