  1. It generally works correctly - I've been getting the exact same 400 something number as my maximum hit while dungeoneering. It just seems to break when you're using certain damage bonuses. For example, if you use Chaos Gauntlets to boost Fire Bolt's maximum hit from 120 to 150, anything between 120 and 150 will show as "maximum hit" (unless that one's been fixed by now). There seem to be certain oddities for other damage bonuses as well. I'm guessing it'll work fine for this particular case.
  2. Hiya Assemblaged, thank you for your submission :) I take it you actually got the "max hit splat" at 105 and 106 damage, respectively? Anyway, as the formula's simply based on educated guesswork by various players, there's no way of telling it's a 100% correct. That said, there's been some activity on the RSOF lately, so I'll see if plugging in their slightly updated version of the formula will rectify things.
  3. The thing is, if somebody's already completed the quest, he's unlikely to touch the quest guide ever again. And to somebody who's doing the quest for the first time, the information about portals using to give less XP and such wouldn't be relevant at all. The site doesn't really have a good spot to list changes such as this one where people will actually find them, other than the front page and, say, the Did you know? section in the Times, unfortunately :(
  4. Hey Tuturuturu, welcome to the forums and thank you for your submission :) The XP values currently listed on the site are the values you will receive if you enter a portal for the first time. They already include the bonus XP implemented with the Wilderness & Free Trade update. I've added a note to the bottom of the database entry for Jennica's ring to clarify things a little. For example, using the portal at the Western Ruins used to give 10,000 XP prior to the update. If you've used it previously, you can use it again to gain 5,000 bonus XP. If you haven't used it previously, you'll be awarded 15,000 XP (and this is the value listed in the guides currently).
  5. Hiya Sonic2876, welcome to the forums and thank you for your submission! :) As Sy_Accursed mentioned, prayer book pages can be obtained from any level of treasure trail, so they're listed under "global rewards".
  6. Thank you for your submission. I'll look into it once these newfangled urns have been added to the calculators :)
  7. Well, taking a quick look at the source-code of that thing...unlikely, unless we happen to have a bored math major lurking in the crew lounge somewhere. A less time-consuming alternative would be to just link to the page :P
  8. Hiya Freddo, thank you for your suggestion :) The initial items database listing does seem rather pointlessly long, and frankly just pointless in general. I'll discuss it with some other crewbies and see if we can find more sensible stuff to put there. Something similar could probably be done for shops and the bestiary. As for the quests listing, I feel that having a full listing right of the bat is quite convenient. If it causes browser slowdown, that's something we'll have to look into, as that shouldn't be happening.
  9. I put together a quick video showing how to get a bunch of guards in the fenced area by your lonesome, no fancy editing or anything. I'd recommend you to team up, though - makes the process a lot more efficient and less annoying. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIorGFi9AsY ...wow, that preview image sure is over-saturated.
  10. Exactly the same as before, I imagine. Using words that will be caught by the chat filter is fine, as those who don't wish to read them can simply leave the filter enabled. Trying to circumvent the filter is still not allowed.
  11. That wouldn't solve anything - if younger kids wanted to swear, they'd just evade the chat filter. As it is now, they can see their glorious cuss words in the actual chat. If you're not bothered, shrug and move on. If you are, keep the filter enabled, and you'll just see stars. Previously, they'd _have_ to resort to filter evasion, which meant that you'd see the (mangled) cuss words either way. Sure, there might be an increase in cussing right now, but once the novelty's worn off I'm sure it'll go back to what we're used to. Edit: of course, as you say, having a chat filter that actually works and doesn't have 10 false positives to each cuss word it filters would be ideal...but yeah, I don't see that suddenly happening after all these years :P
  12. All right, the items database entry should now properly explain how things work. Thank you very much :)

No clue about the ladder reset. The GSL's currently running some sort of team-league cup. GSL season 5's in march, iirc.
  14. I've got the bait in place, but the bots aren't biting. Any way to make them more likely to attack the guards, or do you just have to wait 'til you get lucky?
  15. Hiya Gr33n_B4r, welcome to the forums and thank you for your submission :) I have updated the flesh crawler's bestiary entry and credited you.
  16. Hiya, thank you for your submission :) Does your account actually have to have free-to-play status? When I log to a non-members world and try to get Silverlight back, I only get the option to retrieve Darklight.
  17. Should be working now, please give it a shot :)
  18. Thank you for your submission. I can see the value of your idea. I'll try to make it work, but unfortunately it might end up being pretty complicated, so no promises.
  19. You can't just "use" the ring on the portal, though. You wearing the ring and then using the "operate" right-click option?
  20. Going to do the quest now. Processing...
  21. You're probably right, it'd be a pretty strange thing for them to drop anyway. I'll hide it for now. Thanks again :)
  22. Thank you for your submission :) Faulty HTML, has been fixed. As in, TDs don't drop part mud pies?
  23. Nor did I mean to imply that you were suggesting that great detail was needed :P just giving my reasoning for removing that tidbit. Locking this, it'll board the train to completed submissions shortly...
  24. According to the Warrior's Guild Guide - Second Floor section the: Single token mode consumes 20 tokens per minute and Multi token mode consumes 3 tokens of each type per minute, for a total of 15 points per minute It seems a bit silly to go into great detail on how the spending of tokens works, in a guide not related to the Warrior's Guild. I've removed the offending line - if people wish to find out more about the token system, there's a link that'll take them to the Warrior's Guild guide. Should take care of that :) The dragon defender is now the last defender available. In addition, according to the second paragraph, it would be wise to keep a spare rune defender, as you no longer need the adamant one. Upgraded rune defenders to dragon ones, and the adamant one to rune. Another alternative would be to keep a spare dragon defender, I suppose.
