  1. Hey, thank you for your submission :) I just toyed around with the boss a little to get a cleared idea of his mechanics. In his first form, Night-gazer uses both a single-target ranged attack and a single-target magic attack. He seems to use them randomly, unless you pray against either style, in which case he will attack exclusively with the combat style you're not protected against. His floating-spinning attack does indeed do magic damage to multiple targets. I've previously never noticed this attack doing magic damage, as I'm always praying against magic while fighting this boss, and the attack's projectile looks _exactly_ like the single-target ranged attack's projectile. Talk about confusing. In addition, this attack is also what causes your energy to be drained - praying against magic won't prevent the energy drain, either. The blast attack you describe for the second phase is the attack that has a chance of stunning you. I wasn't able to reliably activate prayer against this in a timely fashion. I did notice that it didn't hit particularly hard, though, unlike the potentially unavoidable slam follow-up :-X I'll update the bestiary entry to take this into account. Thanks! Edit: hah, it has as much text as Stomp now. At least we're being thorough :-P
  2. Hey guys, Thanks for reporting this. I have no idea why it didn't work, but I pulled some levers and flipped some switches, and now it seems to be working just fine for Internet Explorer. Apologies for the inconvenience!
  3. Looks legit to me. Even includes some low-level players in newbie attire stumbling about at the GE, so I doubt that it's a private server. Frame-editing close to six minutes of footage would just be silly. Oh well, [cabbage] happens. Assuming use of this bug isn't too wide-spread, Jagex should be able to track down gold generated in this way, so in the end little harm will be done.
  4. It's true. Level progression's a bit whacky, going 45-60-70-90. http://i.imgur.com/TZbX5.png
  5. The items database currently has chronicles 1 through 22, M&Thok 1 through 8 and notes for bosses up to but not including Yk'Lagor. Glorious credits await for anyone who can contribute screenshots of missing book texts ^_^ The dialogue for completion of the M&Thok series would also be appreciated.
  6. Turns out that someone else is already tinkering a bit with the calculator. I'll have to get in touch and ask what they're up to before I can make any adjustments. Might take a while, sorry!
  7. Hiya, Thank you for your submission. I'll look into it, and see if there's an easy way of doing this. It sounds like it might be painful to implement so no promises!
  8. Hiya! The word "dagannoth" is on the list of commonly misspelt words, along with things such as "taverley" and whatnot. I guess somebody stumbled across this typo and corrected it without knowing there was a topic about it here. Thanks for pointing it out, though :)
  9. Thank you for your submission :) What do you mean by "charging the urn"? The act of adding the rune to the urn? I don't think Saraownsj00 was referring to the general act of crafting an urn, here. At any rate, we don't explicitly mention whether or not you can use the assist system for a particular action. Unless we claim otherwise, you'll be able to get someone else to assist you.
  10. I'll make a new toon and give it a shot. Thank you for bringing this to our attention :) Edit: partially confirmed, I guess. You can no longer attack the dummies in Varrock after you reach level 8 attack. You can still attack those in Lumbridge, however. I'll go ahead and assume that level 10 is the cap for those dummies. This is in fact what the guide states, though the information on dummies is spread over two paragraphs. I'll rewrite that a little, so it is less confusing. Edit2: hrm, you can also train other combat skills on the Lumbridge combat dummies. Odd. [hide][/hide]
  11. Already bothered some others for the information. They've been added, thank you :)
  12. How did I not see this  Unfortunately no active crew members have a high enough DG level to encounter this puzzle room. As a result we're lacking a good-quality screenshot. Also, I suppose it's hard to write up a good description without hands-on experience. I definitely don't recall this puzzle being in the actual skill guide. At any rate, thank you for the submission, I'm sure we'll make use of this information once we've got everything we need :)
  13. The cat disappeared. A one-way trip to completed submission for this topic, then.
  14. Hiya Water, thank you for your submission :) I reckon it's taken straight from the KB, as I don't think anyone on the crew has a gravite weapon. Still, we'll need some confirmation, so could you post a screenshot of the token cost? (If it's on 99% and it says you need 1,000gp and 65 tokens that'll do too of course)
  15. Basically, if the calculator says you need 10 urns to get to the next level, it means you need to keep fishing until you've filled and teleported 10 urns to get to the next level, for example. Urns don't really fit in well in our calculator framework, this is the best I could come up with. And indeed, if you wish to find out how many fish you'll end up catching, you'll have to do some manual math. Typically urns are the defining factor, though, so I don't think that's a big problem.
  16. Can you reliably get in two pickpockets every time, or does it require decent timing on your behalf?
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEv4v7uzxWE Baldur's Gate series had a ton of awesome (battle) music. I like this one best :)
  18. MLG ended up being a bit disappointing. In between all the technical difficulties they ended up showing a whole four games. Hope today will be better T.T
  19. It's live: http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?page=ew3_puzzle_guide.htm
  20. All right, that's settled then. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
  21. Hey there, I've found a few small mistakes in the code. Most browsers simply ignore them, but IE8's compatibility mode seemed to choke on them. Could you confirm if it's working for you now?
  22. Hey there, I can't seem to reproduce the problem. What browser are you using?
  23. Thank you for your submission, I'll look into adding these shortly :)
