  1. oh... it was a contest, i needed to take two movie villans and have them battle somehow
  2. \ proof pl0x? seriouly.... all of the "harshness" I've seen honestly isn't harsh, and it seems as though people here are just saying that to make themselves seem cooler.....
  3. http://pixeljoint.com/pixelween2006/rules.asp i didnt finish before the contest.... but here is the link

woot! another MFKR fan \ to all who have never herd it... it sounds nothing like the current slipknot, as it is very expirimental. (heavilly mr. bungle influenced.....and if you read my posts... you know how much i love them :D)

  7. ill try that, but I can only use 32 colors for the entire piece. You say that as though its not a massive number for pixel art and it has anything to do with contrast. ok... well as said im restarting this project so i can get more practice down.
  8. i guess ill be the first one not to love it..... anatomy is ok, but not "correct", as one arm is much longer then the other. the face is horrible and could use alot of work black lines are horrible and ruin the quality of the pixel. you didnt do a horible job on shading the vegitation, but the ground is a single color and by the amount of it, is the mpst noticable part....it NEEDS texture. i would also hand anti alias the guy, as it will really help bring out what you use the black lines for.
  9. the contest involved getting bad guys from horor movies and pair them against eachother.
  10. ill try that, but I can only use 32 colors for the entire piece.
  11. hey.. angella gossow has a real talent like that. i think she may e the first succesfull female death metal singer. as, believe it or not, its not very easy to get your voice into that pitch (for men OR women)
  12. if you look at alot my my music related posts, I usually say "Mr. Bungle", "The Melvins" or "Primus" ALOT. but those are my two favorite bands and I REALLY love to listen to them, more than alot of other stuff. But then again, I usually need to explain about them and add to the discussion since few people have herd of those bands.
  13. microsoft gif animator is the best. Its free, and I made this using it...
  14. ... the gallery is for your own graphics only.....
  15. GS isnt here anymore, (he didnt feel like the people here were actually helping him improve) but I personally like it. great job ont he shading. only thing is the nostrils look triangular, and not much like actual holes.
  16. ....use it to practice shading.....
  17. I did a search, nothing came up, so i felt like I should post this, What are your top 10 favorite cd's of all time? why? 10. Slipknot -Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat., Before they were this huge mainstreem success, they were a small expirimental rock band mixing jazz, metal, and funk for one insaine package. 9. The Melvins - Houdini, Their major label debut, keeping with the melvins "pre-grunge" sound, and kurt cobain's appearance also helped add a bit more sanity, but not enough sanity to spoil the cd. 8. Dream Theater - Train of Thought, DT added more of a metal sound to this album, bringing out an insain New-Prog-Metal sound. 7. Stone Sour - Come What Ever May, keeping the thrashy grunge rock sound from there first album, they added more of a catchy sound. 6. Metallica - Master of Puppets - one of the best albums that proved you can keep a heavy thrash metal sound, while adding more progresssive elements to there soungs, plus its just plaine awesome. 5. Primus - Pork Soda, primus' darkest album, still just as insaine as usual with claypool's bass, but now the bass heavy tone allows for a very sludgy atomsphere on songs like "Bob". 4. Megadeth - Countdown To Extinction, Megadeth's post thrash album keeps the same instrument skill, but with a bit of a slowed down tempo for more catchy sound. 3. Faith no More - Angel Dust, FNM's more expirimental album, keeping the funk sound, adding a more progessive tendences for a truely amazing experience 2. Rage Against the Machine - RATM -the first true "rap-metal" album. whether it be Tom's one of a kind guitar work, or the odd funk sound, i cant stop listening to it. 1. Mr. Bungle - Mr. Bungle, the album that changed my outlook on music, once you hear this, you will either be scared, confused, or in love... and I'm one of the later.
  18. anatomy need some heavy work, as his left arm is bent painfully and his right looks non existant with his legs, the position is impossible as it looks painfull. along with that, the sig is way too large and way too empty....
  19. have fun and please post your results. and yes, the anatomy is checked and correct.
  20. I'ts not bad, only thing I would suggest is a bit less dithering, as the overdithering ruins the smoothness of the metal. Good job.
  21. lol you asked for advice, im giving: stance is imposible, arms are at painfull curves guy in green armor has leg cut in half heads at wierd shapes only defaulte colors used hands not attatched to body's
  22. first, never resize anything. second, never copy and paste parts. third, please, learn how to crop.... its got soo much empty space.
