based on what I've herd... it seems more common for female vocalists to have bigger ranges, my band's bassist (a girl) can sing from death metal to angelic to even sounding like a guitar, but some male vocalists have insaine ranges as well. Incredible male vocalists are harder to find, but just a couple of my favorites list: Mike Patton - Listen to "i started a joke" by faith no more, then follow with "midlife crisis" (same band), and egg by Mr. bungle to hear just a bit of his vocal power. Manyard james Keenan - do I really need to say anything? Rob Halford - the man who started the high pitched metal scream, but could also sing a deep and dark sound. "victem of changes" and "Painkiller" are good performances.

wow..... thats really bad anatormy is horrible... just wow...

as I said on Pixel joint, I love the contrast and how it causes the figure to pop out, as few people use that way of shading.

yeah, the main reason it looks pixelated is you traced an rs charachter.. a big no no as you cant add much deatail to that.

the guys face looks kinda...er creepy, and the sky doesnt look well blended, also the guys left arm (my left) is in an odd bend that looks painfull.

yeah, it looks VERY good. only thing is as Goru said, dont pillow shade, as it flattens out the piece

its not bad, i would just work on the shading of the guys nose (it kinda looks like a dinousaur :-s) and add more detail to other shading, as its hard to see.

yeah..lol i was kinda surprised at the "great anatomy" posts, his stance is not posible, as human legs cannot physically bend that way, his arm looks like a piece of rubber, no shading at all... it looks alot like a traced runescape character, but it was distorted in order to make it look less like one. since you want a rating 1/10 Heh, always good to see some negative comments. However, no, I did not trace the character. I barely made it up in my mind. It is my first, so any rating other than 0 I consider an achievement. imalber. i like you :, its good to see someone new not freak out over coments that dont say "OMg its roxors" (some people change the thread title to "mods lock plz" and say "evr1 htes me"). with practice and by listining to coments (negative and positive) you can really improve. keep up the pixeling, ill be shure to give tips.

so..they still aren't your own work, and you are also offfering to make them for people. Alot of people here HATE buddies. and if you really want, i can make characters for comics, just keep the buddys away =;

I just went out and bought this album, (its by The Melvins, the creators of Grunge) and i must say I am utterly amazed. unlike there other albums, which had only 3 people, on the new one they completely changed there sound (4 members, 3 singers, 2 drummers, one guitarist, one bassist) thanks to dale crover's style of never using a normal drumbeat, they pulled off a lead drumer and rythem drummer like alot of bands do with guitars. the only thing though was with the 3 vocalists, they all sang the same, and only had a slight voice difference, so it diddnt sound much different than the usual melvins fare. anyone else got any opinions?

I might recomend the fantomas, but it depends on the qualities of tool you like. Fantomas - if you like to hear another bizaar take on music, then i would pick up Suspended Animation or self titled (delirium cordatia is good too, but its an hour of effects). The songs are like tool in the fact that they basically are unlike anything, they really are one of a kind and hard to describe (other than "these guys dont follow the intro, verse1, chorus, verse2, chorus, outro" style). fantomas were with tool for lateralus tour.

i took that as a chalange and drew this on a pda in 3 minutes: its not that hard... you just gotta know how to use the tools correctly, and know how to draw

M.F.K.R was one of my favorite albums, its basically a huge Mr. Bungle tribute. but im not a big far of there other stuff... A few songs of 3.0 are good though
