never celebrated christmas... dont roll eyes at me =;

Well now, we have just passed thanksgiving and now are moving towards a new time, the Christmas period, filled with high prices and a massive "buy! Buy! Buy!" need by all people, well except a couple. I, for one, HATE this time more than anything else. You may call it jealousy, as I get to hear about all sorts of kids getting $3,000+ presents, while all I get is a day off from school. It could be the "in your face" ness of the holiday, along with (American president) bush claiming "if you donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t celebrate Christmas, you are not American" well, I guess now i'm a terrorist. But I think its one thing that annoys me more than anything... is the seemingly no meaning behind it. Yeah, I know all about the "Jesus died for our sins" part of it, but tell the truth, who really observes that part? Go around and poll most kids about Christmas and you will learn that most of them donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t even know that is the truth about Christmas, (in a poll by my school, 80% said gifts, 15% said family 4% said Jesus, and 1% said "donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t celebrate") Besides, with all of the political correctness going on, who would really follow, as now people just say "happy holidays" once again denouncing the "Christ" is CHRISTmas. Another thing that bugs me about it is all the TV/movie specials. Yes, I get that (generic villain) wants to stop Christmas and (generic hero) has to save it and ends up learning about family. Or, in the kidÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s movies, it ends with a "family, yeah right, it's about PRESENTS!!!ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

OMG ITS THE CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111 lol sorry, but whats that inside the oddredish orb? ans why is it slithering? also the plate is out of perspective the shading by your lightsource is kinda confusing, as your making too much light go of of it to the right, when in reality it only should go out strait. but other than that.. the tree is good :)

i like it so far... on the fish you might want to smoth out the shading and make it a bit more realistic, as now it really just looks like bricks of color, also its not good to put your WIP in your sig, as that has people assume it is finished.

just a note: yes it is a wip (if it wasnt, it would be my sig). and 2nd, the arm is supposed to be going backwards then back forwards at the gauntlet, and i may need to edit the shading on that section. and as for backround, thanks to the layers of graphics gale, I may add som ething else, but i dont know yet what. any ideas?

you should learn ABOUT religion in school, not be taught ot believe that. i cant tell you how many times ive herd people say thing like "AHH ALLAH IS GAHNDI!" (do they even know the difference between hindu and islam -_-) i thinks it would be good for kids 7th+ to have a class where they learned ABOUT all sorts of religions and their beliefs, but it might be VERY HARD to get an unbiased oppinion on the subject.

just another note for the melvins case: i went and saw them live not to long ago, there was literally 15 people in the audience... and THESE ARE THE CREATORS OF GRUNGE! (their drummer taught kurt cobain everything about guitar)

I know ALOT of kids who are 13-16 and drink ALOT. Honestly its not good for them. but what i hate most is that they use the excuse of "im gay, its ok for me..." becuase supposedly, or health teachers taught us something about it being ok for you to drink if you are gay/bi. #-o (this is coming from a 16 year old gay guy right now)

you can kinda tell in this thread by how many replies to your post you get, as in if you gets lots of agreements it means they are less underated, as people like them. to mike: how are dragonforce underated? where I live, they are one of the most popular bands, as EVERYONE listesns to them.

space seems WAYYYYYYYY empty, i would shrink the land are a bit, as it seems too big. some sections are gradient tool shaded (used software to prove this), which means they are not truely a pixel. plus 2023 colors is a little much.

actually pixeling is the name of the technique, not art drawn on the computer, the word for what you described is "oekaki"
