Is it as short as 20 seconds? I don't think it is. I can smelt/cook a full inventory before being logged out. In saying this... I certainly wouldn't complain if they decided to increase the inactive time allowed. :)

I would say... Cooking (210k exp per hour on sharks) Firemaking (200k exp per hour on yews) Fletching (225k exp per hour stringing yew longs) Prayer (250k exp per hour on guilded altar... but expensive)

I'd suggest woodcutting oak and willow. They don't sell for a huge amount, but they're good experience and you'll get some bird nest drops. You might get lucky with these and be able to sell the seeds for a tidy sum.

Thanks guys... The reason it still costs money to cut planks is that the reason Jagex created Construction in the first place, was that it's intended as a deliberate money sink. They want all excess cash burned up to control the game economy. Free plank cutting would completely unbalance the game and the economy and is something they wouldn't take seriously. I like the idea of a poll for Dragon colour... thanks. :mrgreen:

Given the feedback on Dragons "What have they got to do with Construction", I am considering removing them to another seperate suggestions thread. I WANT a monster that drops construction materials and would appreciate suggestions for a possible replacement for dragons (should I decide to remove them) Thanks

I have 217k fire runes. I had 248k at one point, but sold some. I got the vast majority of these from Dust Devils. Killed 21.5k of them. Believe it or not... I didn't get a single dragon chain though :(

Thanks for your comments. The reason I've not added a bank is that i don't want to unbalance the game too much. If there was a bank and plank cutting within a few steps, then construction prices would collapse. I don't want that. So I'm sorry, but there won't be a bank. I am thinking about moving the dragons though. Thanks I am considering moving the dragons to a basement though and moving the Ents into their place. Thanks. :)
