  1. Great post... will likely help me determine if I'm buying one or not. Thanks dude
  2. I'm not a big fan of ranging either, but my favourite spots are... Ogres Cage (north west of ardy). You even get the occassional good seed drop. Pest Control. Best joining an IRC channel where you can be recruited onto a good world though.
  3. Print Screen takes a shot of EVERYTHING on your monitor. Alt + PrintScreen, takes a shot of the ACTIVE window only. and like Nabbagad said, you can easily crop in MsPaint anyway.
  4. Yeah, I made a large profit when going for lvl 99. The following prices may not be valid anymore (we all know how much RS prices fluctuate). Buy Yew Long(u) - 250-300 each Buy Bow Strings - 150-200 each Sell complete bow - 550 each Cost to make 400-500 each Profit per bow 50-150 each Now, with stringing I could manage 3k bows per hour. That translates to around 150k - 450k profit per hour. Fantastic money, and LOTS of experience (225k per hour). Have fun buddy...
  5. Yeah, same... I didn't really notice much difference until 70+ Even at lvl 82, I still feel fishing lobs is frustratingly slow
  6. In terms of how often it will drop.... I think it's 1 in 600 odds. Plus Cave Horrors hit often as they use mage and melee attack. There's a couple of safe range spots though. They're also a great source of high level herb seeds.
  7. Yer, cow hides to bodies is pretty quick for that level. If money isn't an issue, buy silver bars and convert to tiaras. You'll manage 50k experience in one hour with that method.
  8. They're great for speed training I suppose. You can hit them quite hard and fairly often compared to other monsters. As for drops, I killed about 4k of them without receiving a dragon half, so I don't recommend them for that. You do however, receive lots of herbs, gems and mith bars from them. In short, they won't make you rich, but they are good training and the drops are ok'ish.
  9. Cow hides tanning and crafting at Al Kharid would be cheapest for you I recon.
  10. I trained from 7.5m to 13m with a dragon scimitar on dust devils. Not as fast or as hard hitting as a whip, but still the most effective strength training weapon available in my opinion.
  11. These aren't my own results, but from a good friend in my clan...
  12. What... was it a school for the blind? How could anyone not have noticed geez. One word... castration
  13. OMG, that's awful man. Really sorry to hear that. I hope they give you some kind of compensation, say a years free membership or a 1m exp genie lamp or something :uhh:
  14. For a Java based game.... full marks 10/10 For a general computer game.... pretty poor 5/10
  15. JosÃÆÃâÃâé GonzÃÆÃâÃâález - Heartbeats
  16. It's pretty hard to pick an exact top ten. So, in no particular order... 1. Lord of the Rings Trilogy (3rd one was my fave though) 2. Pulp Fiction 3. Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back 4. Aliens 5. Matrix Trilogy (1st one was best) 6. Master & Commander 7. Fifth Element 8. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 9. Star Wars - Revenge of the Sith 10. Silence of the Lambs
  17. I think that SOME people expect too much from drops, but there are plenty of players who are justified in their expectations. For example, I spent over 1 month in the smoke pits. I killed 21.5k dust devils and received no dragon chain (I know the exact number from my hp experience). Yet, some players would jsut show up for a slayer assignment, kill 100 and get a chain. Based on this, I think I was justified in demanding a chain lol.
  18. Since the tools they use to detect cheating are the same regardless of the platform (be it P2P or F2P), I suppose they're jsut as likely to ban either type of player. They have almost 1m subscribers so I don't think banning a few thousand is really going to make a massive dent in their income anyway.
  19. LOL, a fellow Red Dwarf fan I see.... brilliant
  20. Yer, I think he was talking about construction rares like marble and gold leaf? Although these are expensive they're not the most expensive item. I left that one out of the drops on purpose lol.
  21. Every time you're hit it takes slight damage. Barrows will last through about 10 hours of combat before needing completely repaired.
  22. Here's two summaries that I found... Plot Summary for Thirteen Days (2000) In October, 1962, U-2 surveillance photos reveal that the Soviet Union is in the process of placing nuclear weapons in Cuba. These weapons have the capability of wiping out most of the Eastern and Southern United States in minutes if they become operational. President John F. Kennedy and his advisors must come up with a plan of action against the Soviets. Kennedy is determined to show that he is strong enough to stand up to the threat, and the Pentagon advises U.S. military strikes against Cuba--which could lead the way to another U.S. invasion of the island. However, Kennedy is reluctant to follow through, because a U.S. invasion could cause the Soviets to retaliate in Europe. A nuclear showdown appears to be almost inevitable. Can it be prevented? The year is 1962. USAF U-2 spy planes discover that the USSR is placing nuclear ballistic missiles in Cuba. The Chiefs of Staff warn President Kennedy and his cabinet that the missiles have the potential to kill up to 80 million Americans, and destroy a large number of USAF bomber bases - thus crippling the Americans' ability to retaliate and leaving the country an easy target for Soviet invasion. Fortunately, the missiles are not yet operational, and the President and his staff try to figure out how to get the missiles out of Cuba - whether by diplomatic means or by force. Initially, diplomatic attempts fail as the Soviets lie and stonewall the President. Secretary of Defence Robert McNamara comes up with a different plan - a naval blockade of Cuba to keep new missiles from reaching the country. When the Russians ignore the blockade and try to run it, things quickly go from bad to worse. Will the Americans & Soviets come to a peaceful settlement - or will nuclear war result?
  23. I see you didn't read the whole post then. The items drops are VERY rare, and you still have to pay the same money to use the table saw. It will have a very minimal impact on the economy and is a just reward for those who have worked hard on construction to gain access to the guild.
  24. Just wondering if it's any good or not? How much experience are you averaging per hour there? Do you need a lot of bank runs for food?
  25. I'd recommend full Dharok for strength training :)
