I remember the mining change lol. I miss RSC so much I don't think anyone has any idea. Anyhow. Wait! lol. I think that it SHOULD be changed. I think once the person gets down to like 1hp or something, that it does SOME damage to like attack, defense, or strength, but only for a few hits, so let's say, it will hit 3 more times just weakening stats by (10?) and then it kills you after those three hits. That's what I think should happen. And on another note, that person who wrote about it is a girl. So stop calling her, he. :P

Same here. Like I was really having fun woodcutting one day, then the next day "Meh, boring!" Then I went and did some runecrafting, eh got bored. Went and did some combat training, booooring! Of course I then went and did some firemaking, then mining, then smithing. Currently it's Slayer (And barrows at times which is mostly magic and combat training :D)

Umm... Boohoo? Sorry. Use iron? lol. Iron is more useful than granite anyway... I don't really believe in power(insert skill here). It's an overfocus and quick way to gain levels. Anyhow, so what if they changed it? It makes sense that they did though. It's not like rock magically makes things cool down in the middle of the deadly desert. Rocks actually make things hotter (well, depending on the color of the rock :P). So it makes perfect sense that they changed it. And my 70 mining? I got that all by just mining when I needed to. Yep, 70 mining after 5 1/2 years starting in RSC. But back on topic, so now you buy a lot of waterskins and wear desert clothes, camulet telly to the temple, go to granite mine, have a dueling ring equipped, have a row or two of full waterskins, and you can be there for like an hour. Then ring telly, pull out more waterskins, camulet telly back and repeat.

Once. Almost pked a few other times, but only actually killed once. I need to buy/mine some ess for myself to craft so I can make my yew longbows and alch them lol. Probably get attempted PKed during that. Or PKed completely -.-

No one ever (to my own personal knowledge) said that Members wanted to get rid of F2P. Anyhow, I was F2P the majority of my Runescape time, back on RSC and part of RS2. Anyhow, in all honesty. Members don't really need F2P. The prices may fluctuate, but then go down again, more people will become members. And the amount of money made by those ads, are minimal compared to the memer money Jagex makes. As for economy, P2P can support it's own, even without F2P. F2P and P2P RS are in my opinion, different economies almost altogether. Neither of them need the support of theo ther to survive. :) I could end up typing an entire page on why, but I'm way too tired to do it. Been a long week, been a long day, it may not be after 2AM but I'm tired anyhow! But, that was offtopic, but as I said, well, just read what I wrote above this. -_-'

Thanks mate :) Updated my blogs for the 3 days I didn't update it lol. Been a bit busy with school. Semester has been extended till February 2nd for me (due to all the snow days we had!). So that's good. But I still have to now catch up for my two online college running start classes I'm doing to make up credits for Highschool so I can graduate on time. Man I'm so exhausted. Anyhow, bed time! I'll try to maybe make it to that awesome TET event tomorrow (Saturday). May still be sleeping though haha!

My bunny ears, I unfortunately didn't get the scythe... -sigh- I miss RSC :( And I hate people who say they're worthless, they aren't. If they somehow became tradable, they'd be worth MORE than a lot of the rares, because alot of people just dropped them (before they could get them back from clothes shop) because they weren't tradable to sell.

Runescape isn't going to die out quickly. They update it ALL THE TIME which is what gives it the most appeal among online MMORPG's. And it's only a cheap $5 a month for these updates. They'll just expand it, and probably make it nicer and nicer to keep it going. As for the FF games, they've been around much longer than 10 years lol :)

You know...burying bones alone does not get you Leo, in fact it is very rare. If you want to get that random event, go to the ogres near castle war. Fight 5, get the bones, bury in sequences of 5. Rinse and repeat, all the while not talking or rotating your camera. I got Leo twice in an hour doing that. Anyways...it took me about 2.5 years to get 1 mime random event. Reminds me of mime and drill demon! I remember reading the update about Leo the Gravedigger, and then seeing people running around doing the new awesome emotes and wearing the cool zombie clothes! So I set out and killed HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS of guards. And I got all the clothes and both emotes in under a week. :( Randoms are well, random.. :|

Had members for over a year now... No Dragon Drops. Not from Fire Giants, Barrows, or Dragons (Metal and NonMetal). Only ONE MIME. and only ONE CAMO! Laaaame :(

Alright, as someone said earlier to my reply, and saying that there would be more cash, then Jagex would of course need to take action. 1) Increase the amount of rare treasure trail item rewards (3rd age). 2) Release more new expensive/strong weapons or whatnot. Which of course, we know is coming eventually anyway. :) Yep.

This is how it goes. The entire TET (Including Honest1) decided to make a new event, where they got the TET to "kidnap" Honest1, and then posted the video on here, and gave us the controversy, it's all for the "surprise" event this Saturday. That easy enough to understand? :)

Yes. I'm an RSC Vet and all... I really REALLY miss it. I think a few aspects of RSC were a LOT better than RS2, graphics, game, economy wise. I miss it, my character grew up on it, and we both miss it -sniffles- I wish it had never been released sometimes! :cry:

And people who are wanting to talk about the economy and have replied on this thread about "Rares are what make a major contribution to the Runescape economy!" (Or things along those lines). Or even say that rares are what make our Runescapian economy, these are... FALSE. Why you may ask? It's really a very simple answer to this. Economies are NEVER surrounded by certain ITEMS that are in SHORT SUPPLY. Ever. Never. This is simply put really, of all economic infrastructure there are a basis of a few needs. People, food, shelter, export, import. Now, of course for Runescape, you take out a few things. But the Runescape economy as we know is not a "real" economy. And Rares do not effect it, whatsoever. They're like a rare painting. And if they were removed, then it wouldn't effect the majority of the population. Only the merchenters and those striving to get them. So I'd support a removal or atleast making the remaining rares, untradable (the wearable ones), and as for the edible ones, they can melt or vanish or whatever happens. As for the disk, it can just vanish or something because it's useless, unless they return the bottomless pit. I probably won't post again in this thread, I may or may not, depending on the first person who decides to react and reply to my message, if it's mostly a flame or countermeasure, forget it. Why? Because really, there isn't a truly good argument versus the basis of economics. How do I know all of this finally? I'm taking an economics class online for Running Start. :) mwahaha. -Wolfy

Anyone who can, light up your torches, or lanterns and search every inch of every Runescape Server possible! We need Tipiters for every server! Or there will be no more fun events for everyone! :(

You wouldn't be able to make granite legs or body, it'd probably be helm, boots, and gloves though :P. It also mentions ALTER to better fit? Perhaps make it lighter but keep the bonuses? Or make it look different so it can look cooler? Or make it look better for female bodies? lol
