I agree. I think that they should have a different themed background wallpaper for like Christmas or something :) And like during the Winter have a snowy looking one, and Easter, an easter themed, and spring a spring themed, Summer a summer theme, Fall, a fall themed with like colorful leaves, and a halloween themed one, etc. :)

So maybe if I get some good clue scroll new items... I can buy a santa! :) I still havn't gotten a clue scroll, hell hounds are swamped with like too many people! lol :(

Mine: I remember the update when you could finally see people's combat levels outside of the Wilderness (RSC). As well as sleeping bags (Also RSC). Umm, When RS2 came out, Construction and Hunter skills, I wasn't a member for the other things, nor was I playing a lot for a bit over a year.

Oye! The market is NOT crashing!!! Prices go DOWN because more people GET THEM. Whips have gone down in price because more people get 85 slayer and get more whips, so MORE WHIPS = LESS PRICE. It's not fair to sell whips at 3m when almost everyone has them, it becomes LESS RARE. It's the same with barrows armor, more people get the barrow item, the price goes down because there's more of them in the game! It also has the reverse effect, such as with rares! Less rares = Worth more because there's so few of them. This sort of topic has been talked about over and over and over again, just in different ways. -.-

still have my beautiful bunny ears. I've had my account for a bit over 5 years. It's my original account as well. Back from 7th grade :) I'm a senior (12th grade) this year. I remember starting out, walking about... Then I got my cooking high enough to get into the cooking guild... Where I sat around for hours in the summer, listening to my angsty song "In The End" by Linkin Park over and over and over. Making apple pies :) I miss those days... And I only have mybunny ears and my memories to keep me remembering how I started Runescape.

Except, the market never crashed. A few people around here consistently think that hte market is crashing, it's not. Especially the 85 slayer people who depend their money on abby whips. Or barrowers who depend their money on barrow armor. It's not because the market is crashing. The reason why prices have been going down or as you seem to think "crash" is well, first depending on the item in question. If it's a rare like a p-hat then it's because inflation went down (less money in the game, causing prices to drop, which is actually GOOD by the way) and people didn't have the money. This was due to construction, which was created to be that money drain to be a short term inflation decreaser, it served its purpose. As for other items, such as abby whips, and barrows armor and whatnot. The prices went down not only due to the inflation drop from construciton, but also because of supply. The more whips that come into the game, the cheaper they are because they become less rare. This also goes for that sought after barrow armor as well. In other words, stop complaining about the supposed "market crashing" because it's not crashing, it's just how it goes. And if you even try to block this with real life, we can go with a grocery store, slowly prices are always going up or down, it's supply and demand. If demand is high, but they have low supply, prices go up. If demand is low, and supply is high, prices go down. My final thought on this is... In your own greed for money, you blame the falling prices of an item you used to use to get rich, and others as well, on a "failing" market, but it's your own greed that's gotten the best of you. You just want to be rich but can't get as rich as fast anymore, so you complain about it. I say, shut up, you don't deserve to play if you're going to complain about it. And as for whips. I bought one at 2.5m, now it's 1.9m . Sad, isn't it? And at first, whips were very, very expensive because they were a rarity. But as more people get them, the less expensive they become. So suck it up, and deal with it.

They set up advertising to get more money. (They being Jagex) BUT It will NOT effect MEMBERS. If you even noticed, members don't have pop ups or advertisements because we PAY for it. F2P will though.

There's lots of those little things that Jagex does to make us think. I remember seeing it, wondering what the heck it was for. Still don't know, maybe we never will. We can only speculate! Hole where lava throws through? As that one guy said, place where lava eels sleep? A secret door into another dimension? A place where an evil lava shark sleeps? Secret door into the Tzaar caves? List could go on forever :)

There's a large history in the Library of Varrock section of the Runescape website. As well as you learn a LOT during quests, but you have to be a member to get an actual sense of the history of the lands of Gielnor (sp?).

Good quest. Award was nice. I'll definetely use that disease free patch on the top of the stronghold to grow my ranarr ;) then I don't have to worry about it dying on me! And for all you people, it's only for THAT PATCH. It's not the compost that makes it disease free, it's My Arm, he said he'll watch the herbs so they don't become disease ridden for free. Duh.

lol I don't watch that show. But I bet Runescape got tons more users from that episode of it lmao!

The worst time(s) for me have been: 1) Wilderness back in the day on F2P RSC, annoying, indeed. 2) I lagged HORRIBLY (Due to this weird problem with my network for some reason) and it logged me out at the KQ, luckily I didn't get slaughtered when I logged back in whew :) 8-)
